After Spurs edged past Everton thanks to two more goals from Harry Kane at the Lane, it’s now time for Sunday’s main event.

Manchester City travel to Wearside in the first of their double Gameweek fixtures, with Pep Guardiola’s in-form outfit subject to huge Fantasy Premier League investment over the last few days.

Snapped by over 377,000 FPL managers, Sergio Aguero was the most sought-after asset prior to yesterday’s deadline after racking up four goals and two assists in his last pair of appearances across all competitions.

Surprisingly second to Zlatan Ibrahimovic in terms of overall armband backers for Gameweek 27, Aguero has, however, been triple captained by a substantial 159,000+ FPL managers, with City also set to entertain Stoke on Wednesday evening.

With a goal or assist in eight of his last ten league outings, Raheem Sterling acquired over 338,000 new owners last week – over 16,000 have wielded their triple captain chip on the winger.

Four goals and three assists in his last seven starts across all competitions has Leroy Sane shaping up as a differential, with the summer signing sitting in just 3% of squads, but Kevin De Bruyne’s owners are left disappointed as the Belgian surprisingly drops to the bench for the first match of double-header. As many as 6,937 FPL managers have played their Triple Captain chip on De Bruyne for Gameweek 27.

Captain Aguero and Sterling both got returns but somehow I'm unhappy.

    Could have been more...

I'll take this as an Aguero captainer and Sane owner.

Aguero captainers happier than triple captainers... for now...

Real winners so far are Kane captainers or Aguero single captainers

Surely rather good? Aguero goal; Sane goal; Sterling assist.

TC-ers may be a little worried but that's a nice points haul regardless?

7x3=21 points from the first game. Not too bad. Still hopes for more against Stoke.

KdB on the pitch looked much better for City. Hopefully he will start against Stoke.

Yeah, just a pity Aguero didn't bag an assist or goal from KDB's contributions.

Aguero looks alright again. Ultimately disappointing with Aguero (c) and choosing Sterling over Mané. But still Wed to go. . .

Who would you want the least from GW29 onwards?

    A) Llorente
    B) Carroll
    C) Defoe

No Kun and Sane (C) well I survived, in fact rank has gone from 2.1k to 1.7k

Here's hoping to a Kun rest on Weds
