Manolo Gabbiadini is sidelined for Southampton’s home clash against Bournemouth. Michail Antonio is ruled out of West Ham United’s trip to Hull City, while Salomon Rondon and Nacer Chadli will be assessed ahead of West Bromwich Albion’s match at Manchester United.

Southampton will be without Manolo Gabbiadini for the home clash against Bournemouth, with the Italian international sidelined due to a groin injury. Claude Puel also revealed that Maya Yoshida will be assessed after a long-haul flight back from Japan, while there is bad news on Virgil van Dijk, with the defender unlikely to return this season.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has revealed that Ryan Fraser is “touch and go” for the trip to Southampton due to a hamstring issue. The winger has trained this week, though.

Arsenal will be without Petr Cech and Lucas Perez for the home encounter against Manchester City. Cech, who is also set to miss the West Ham United match on Wednesday, is out with a calf injury, while Perez is sidelined due to a thigh problem. Mesut Ozil featured for Germany over the international break and is set to come into contention for a recall.

Slaven Bilic is without Winston Reid, Michail Antonio and Pedro Obiang for the trip to the KCOM Stadium. Antonio’s hamstring injury isn’t as bad as first feared, though, and he could be fit for Wednesday night’s match against Arsenal. Mark Noble is back in training and available for the Hammers.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ander Herrera are both still suspended ahead of Manchester United’s home clash with West Bromwich Albion, while Paul Pogba, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling are expected to be ruled out.

Salomon Rondon and Nacer Chadli both need to be assessed ahead of West Bromwich Albion’s trip to Old Trafford. Rondon is only returning to the club today following a long-haul flight from South America, while Chadli picked up a shoulder injury while away on international duty with Belgium. Matt Phillips is expected to miss out once again due to a hamstring injury.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche revealed that Johann Berg Gudmundsson isn’t quite ready to return from a knee injury, with the Iceland international set to start training at the start of next week.

Vincent Janssen will be assessed ahead of Spurs’ trip to Turf Moor, having been struck down with a chest infection over the international break.

Swansea City head coach Paul Clement will have Martin Olsson and Kyle Naughton available again for the home clash against Middlesbrough, with the pair recovering from hamstring and ankle injuries respectively.

Xherdan Shaqiri is set to miss out for Stoke City ahead of the trip to Leicester City. The Swiss international has had a setback with his calf tissue, after representing his country during the international break.

Sunderland manager David Moyes was able to deliver good news on Lamine Kone and John O’Shea ahead of the trip to Watford. Kone missed the goalless draw against Burnley with a twisted knee, but has returned to training this week, and is set to start. O’Shea, meanwhile, is expected to be available after suffering a shin injury while on international duty. Lee Cattermole and Victor Anichebe are closing in on first-team returns, but the trip to Vicarage Road is likely to come too soon for the pair. Bryan Oviedo and Sebastian Larsson have returned from international duty with no issues.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

    What's everyone's thought on Tadic?
Is he likely to start after the argument with the manager?

Antonio to Tadic or Alli this week?

Will bring in the other the week after regardless.

      Alli.

Stuff with the manager, and Puel's propensity to rotate, make me think to go safe.

Maybe look at Redmond in Gabbi's absence after this weekend if you still want a Saint - I think outside of Gabbi, Yoshi and Bertrand I'm only really interested in Redmond as 4th mid or JWP as 5th.

    1FT:
    Bank: 3.7

    Heaton
    Walker - McAuley - Alonso
    Firmino - Eriksen - Sigurdsson - Hazard
    Defoe - Llorente - Lukaku
Subs: Jakupovic, Ake, De Roon and Rannochia.

What do you think of my team?

    What do we think G2G?

    Pickford,
    Valencia, B.Davies, Bertrand
    Siggs, Mane, Sanchez, Alli,
    Defoe, Lukaku (C), Costa

I really want to get Vardy in, would it be worth it for a -4 hit?

Definitely the option that doesn't involve benching king. If you have a great front 8 that is what AOA is there for.

King could do really well against Southampton. I don't think brunt has done anything away from home at all this season

          Lots of chatter on this...

          http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4365294/Southampton-manager-Claude-Puel-hits-Dusan-Tadic.html

For me, I can't see Tadic being dropped. Puel says he has to do his talking on the pitch so, presumably, needs to give him that opportunity 😉

Are any of you still holding a WC using the next few weeks for punts? Like getting in some Leicester players.
I usually play for more longer term transfers but chances are I will use the WC around GW35/36 so can just focus on the next few games for the transfers now.

I need to sell Aguero or Mané for funds. Vardy(c) is the obvious move with everyone in my ML piling in on him. No other Kun owners either. I'm only marginally ahead of main rival who has WC'd this week.

Could there be a DGW before GW34? Or is it all sorted now?

If so, who might it involve?

Could be Ars / Soton one in 32 or 33. The City game was arranged in less time

        Ah right, really?

Which keeper would you get from either of them then? Ospina/Cech or Forster?

Not necessarily. Coutinho has looked a little off the pace and Sanchez hasn't really done anything to suggest he won't keep scoring points.

      It is Bournemouth though.... 🙂

I'm making the same move next week. Would rather Coutinho v the toffees rather than Sanchez at City

Start Jaku (West ham) or Valdes (Swansea )

Aguero and Funes Mori to Vardy and Valencia worth a -4?

Only if your defence for this week can't cope without Valencia move

Other defenders are Stones, Alonso, McAuley and Amat

Then yeah I'd probably make that move. Could also consider Ben Davies instead of Valencia and keep Aguero.

The hit must be quite tempting though 🙂

Doesn't mean he has to be taken out for a hit straight away if you can cover without him

    Transfer in
    A) Walker and Barnes
    B) Davies and Gabbi

I have the players to cover Gabbi for the next couple of weeks if he doesn't play.

    Team is:

    Pickford, Foster
    Baines, Valencia, Mawson, Smith, Amat
    Sanchez, King, Eriksen, Sigurdsson, Fletcher
    Aguero, Carroll, Lukaku

I was thinking of doing Carroll and Foster to Vardy and Jakupovic. It would be for -4 but my main rival has already taken a hit so I'm not too bothered. Thoughts?

Depends on your team. I'll rather put Vardy

Vardy in for either Llorente (got Siggy so a Swa double-up) or Andy Carroll? Will prob (c) Vardy over Luk if I get him in. Thanks.
