Whether it’s Pep’s rotation, Jonty’s runaway facial hair or a rogue horse in Andy’s front garden, the ScoutCast crew are decidedly spooked in this week’s Halloween episode.

Downed by a bout of Labyrinthitis – which is as nasty as it sounds – I’m forced to duck out as Jonty, Andy, Granville and Az run riot.

Your community questions help to keep them in check, forcing the quartet to once again assess City rotation, while giving views on Chelsea’s big-hitters, a Foxes revival and a slew of budget defenders.

Jonty rolls out his “ghouls imminent” table, while Andy unknowingly mocks my affliction from afar with back-to-back ear puns; in between they preview the weekend’s action to reveal their captain and transfer picks.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link on the first player below, or take in the full visual experience via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Are you seriously consider benching Lacazette? If so, at least sell him.

Does Toby's injury increase the chance of Davies playing as a centre back?

Still got Sanches, Dier and Vertongen as a back three so probs not

    On a GW12 wildcard:

    A) Pope (rotating with Elliot) + Hazard

    B) DDG + Erikson

Also note I have Kane for spurs cover but no Chelsea.

I'd go with Pope regardless of what you do with the finds.

Pope Elliot rotation has earned me 20pts the past 3 gameweeks. 1 more point than DeGea has scored

Have a starting XI dilemma. who to start? pick 2 out of 4:

    A) Richardlison (A) vs EVE
    B) Gross (A) vs SWA
    C) Abraham (H) vs BHA
    D) Jese (H) vs LEI

    on goal:
    Elliot (H) vs BOU
    Fabianski (H) vs BHA

        1. Tshelby

Liverpool and wba aren't that solid at the back imo. Morata gets his chances but he doesn't deliver, yet

          1. CaptainKeita

Liverpool at home are pretty solid at the back.

Only if part of midfielder upgrade with 2ft.

      1. CaptainKeita
        9 years, 7 days ago

Well only 1 transfer in my hand. If i upgrade my midfield, for example choupo to Alli, it will cost me -4.

        1. Gegenpress
          9 years, 7 days ago

I did a -4 to get alli in.

Alonso & Chuopo for Moreno & Alli.

          Gives me the below:

          (Pope) Elliot

          Jones Luiz Moreno Ward (Memba)

          Richarlison Alli Salah Sterling (RLC)

          Vardy Jesus Aguero

  21. Catastrophe
    9 years, 7 days ago

Any ideas chaps? Was all set on losing either/both of Jesus or Davies, but with Jesus quite likely (!) to start and Davies at home to palace don't fancy it now?

    Elliot
    Cedric, Davies, Jones
    Sterling, Salah, Silva, Carroll
    Jesus, Morata, Kane

    (Foster, Hegazi, RLC, Mariappa)

    0.2 ITB, 1 FT...

    Cheers.

I don't think Jesus is quite likely to start at all to be honest.

      1. Gegenpress
        9 years, 7 days ago

        Why? He didn't start midweek.

        1. The Left Duke #3
          9 years, 7 days ago

And as history shows with Pep that means nothing.

      2. Tshelby
        9 years, 7 days ago

Isn't he? He played less minutes than Kun inthe CL?

        1. The Left Duke #3
          9 years, 7 days ago

So what Kun is the best no 9 they have and its a massive game against one of the big 6. If Jesus does start it'll be in place of Sane/Sterling IMO

      3. Catastrophe
        9 years, 7 days ago

'On paper' he is...but who knows...

        1. The Left Duke #3
          9 years, 7 days ago

Spot on. Pep has been all over the place with it. Sterling was taken off at 60 mins in the previous CL game with Sane playing the full 90 yet Sterling was still benched the weekend and Sane started. It's a lottery mate

          9 years, 7 days ago

To answer your question i'd save FT until after the Int break and lose one of your MC assets. Maybe an injury might show you which one to lose

What are you doing with Kolasinac, even though tough fixtures, he is a beast!
For this week I could bench him, have Alonso Walker Moreno also. What do you think?
I have 1 ft but save could be handy...
    A) Keep Kolasinac
    B) Get Spurs defender, Vertongen?

    1. lugs

  23. dr. Phil
    9 years, 7 days ago

Cheap third striker debate, members area stats (either last 2 or 4gws) actualy favour Diouf more than Abraham or DCL or Joselu. Perhaps theres not much difference in player stats between Diouf and Tammy, but team stats are strongly on the side of Stoke (attacking wise).

What am I missing, why isnt Diouf the preffered option?

    1. CaptainKeita

A question for the ages here lads, for this GW only

    A) Mee (away to So'ton)
    or
    B) Dunk (away to Swansea)

    I know, it's a juicy one 🙂

    1. Miguel Sanchez

DDG in at the moment but if it looks like Bavies is benched (with Jones coming in via autosub) then I'll bench DDG for Elliot. Not sure I want two MUN defenders at Stamford Bridge.

  26. Maximus Bonimus Pointimus

How's this lot looking? Had to take a few hits to get there, but thinking it's well setup for next few weeks :

    DDG

    Salah, Zaha, Richarlison, GroB
    Kun, Kaku, Kane(c)
    (Elliott, Mee, Dunk, RLC)

It play mee over Moreno this week

      1. Maximus Bonimus Pointimus
        9 years, 7 days ago

Thinking Moreno will either start or not play at all so Mee could come in. If Moreno starts id fancy him to maybe notch some sort of attacking returns... Although Mee might be a better shout cheers

      Both! And Kane 🙂

    2. Over Midwicket

  28. Salah'd n Sauce
    9 years, 7 days ago

    DDG/Elliot
    Stones/Daniels/McGuire/Mee/Lascelles
    Salah/DSilva/Sterling/GroB/Davis
    Kane/Abraham/Firmino

Would be playing a 343 this week so happy for Davis to sit on bench with a view to upgrade to Richarlison next week.

However, thinking about possibly getting spurs defensive cover in.
    Worth a -4 this week?
