After a recent hiatus, we return to check in once again with the Referee data in our members’ section and assess the recent appointments for Gameweek 30.

Scanning the assignments and Opta statistics, the idea is to pick out any whistlers that could have a potential impact on their respective fixtures and the players in line to potentially either profit or suffer as a consequence.

To all GW32 WC'ers. Many of you will have Sterling with a healthy profit locked up. So the decision to make that impacts on GW30/31 transfers is....

Will Sterling be in your GW32 WC team? City will be close or have won title, so rotation will be rife. Sterling will want to stay match fit but not risk an injury before World Cup. Fixtures from GW30: stk, blank, eve, MUN, tot, SWA, whu, HUD, sot

If I ditch him I might as well do it now before I lose 0.1 of value and get in Mane/Walcott or Shaq. If I'm keeping it will be Son that has to make way and I've no profit tied up in him at all.

TL;DR - Is Sterling going to be in your GW32 WC team?

Pundits on my screen are saying it hit his standing foot. Ruud Gullit saying LEFT foot, LEFT foot. They still refer to it as 'scuffed' because it was scuffed before it hit his standing foot.

      1. Deulofail
        • 10 Years
        7 years, 11 months ago

And I guess saying 'scuffed' is a bit kinder to Son than really labouring that he basically scored accidentally.

Sterling lacks match fitness. He will be on the bench at Stoke at best.

The fact that he is not getting minutes tonight to get some game time suggests it's a niggling injury.
