Each week we are reviewing the aggregated predictions on Superbru’s Premier League Predictor game, using the collective Wisdom of the Crowd predictions to guide our fantasy football thinking.
Please join the FFS league here and add your own predictions to the data – the more there are, the more accurate the crowd should be (in theory).
And don’t forget there is £20,000 on offer every week if you get a full house of predictions.
GAMEWEEK 34 REVIEW
West Brom’s win at Old Trafford was the biggest update of the season so far, predicted by less than 1% of the Superbru community.
That upset caused much consternation for fantasy managers with lofty expectations of double gameweek returns, but thankfully results became slightly more predictable as the round unfolded, delivering some much-needed points at the same time.
Here are the Gameweek 34 results in descending order of predictability:

Gerdus Taljaard from South Africa won the Yellow Cap in the Fantasy Football Scout league with 10 correct picks, including the Newcastle win over Arsenal and West Ham’s draw with Stoke.
Mr Crowd Wisdom – using the aggregated predictions of the crowd – is in 11th place in FFS pool out of over 480 players.
The aggregated predictions of the community are making better predictions than most individual players in the game, lending significant credibility in the Wisdom of the Crowd concept.
The crowd’s average picks have now taken the Crowd Wisdom user into the top 2% on the global leaderboard.
GAMEWEEK 35 PREVIEW
It could be three goals each for Manchester City and Liverpool this weekend, according to the crowd predictions, whilst they are also expected to keep things tight at the back. Those with the Free Hit chip will be judging how best to distribute their three-player allocation between attack and defence.
Arsenal and Burnley are also expected to be among the top-performing teams this week, and their players could be worth backing too.
Here are the aggregated predictions that we’ll enter for Mr Crowd Wisdom this week.

Thank you for the positive feedback on these articles this season, hopefully they have added some value. As we get to the final few weeks, any further comments on what you’d like to see might be useful to see if we can develop this further for the World Cup and into next year.
Good luck!
