The curtailed Gameweek 35 concludes at Goodison Park tonight as Everton host Newcastle United in a fixture that has all the makings of a dead rubber.

The two teams are now surely safe from the threat of relegation and appear to be playing for Premier League prize money only over the remaining matches.

But from a Fantasy perspective, there is still interest in the Merseyside clash, with Free Hit managers investing in the likes of Jordan Pickford, Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman in their one-week refresh.

All start for the home side tonight.

Meanwhile, those without the chip at their disposal, likely take Magpies assets into this match, with Ayoze Perez, Kenedy and budget defender Paul Dummett among the most likely to feature in squads.

Indeed, Perez is the most signed player on show tonight, having commanded over 133,000+ transfers in ahead of Saturday’s deadline.

That follows a rich vein of form from the Spaniard which has produced three goals and three two assists from his last three Gameweek starts.

Perez sits behind Islam Slimani in the attack tonight, with the Algerian starting a Premier League match for Newcastle for the first time since his loan move from Leicester City.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

18K GW Rank. 😯 No FH ... just good planning.

I do think there is merit to this strategy for next season https://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2018/03/23/an-alternative-strategy-for-the-doubles/

Treat the free hit as a third Wildcard. Don't use it in a gameweek with just 5 fixtures. Use it in a double with 15 plus fixtures. Much more potential that way.

One way to look at it.
However, GW25 when I started planning for GW31 BGW I was over 90,000 places behind you.
As of now I'm about 50,000 ahead of you with my flawed GW32 WC 34BB 35FH 37TC approach.

I've heard you bleat on and on about this for weeks now.
      Time to cut the bullshit.

Different strategies work for different people. I've gone with the 34 FH, 36 WC and 37 BB. The 34 FH worked beautifully for me, and my 35 team had 11 players who got me 57 points.

Currently 900 in the world, with my wildcard and bench boost left. I'm pretty sure bench boost is worth more than TC, so this leaves me in a far stronger place than most of my rivals.

"..just good planning" What a joke - still having Walcott is 'good planning'? He happily accepts Wally's points from only the second match all season that he's scored, while bagging out Smalling owners last GW as being 'lucky'.

Does anyone think that Eriksen could be a rotation risk in DGW 37?

Alli has had his rest now and Eriksen has been playing non stop.

Spurs can secure their CL spot by winning the next 2 games if Pool drop points vs Chelsea. That makes the second games in the DGW a concern.

Poch may easily play Lamela - Alli - Moura behind Kane and give Eriksen a rest.

Is Eriksen that secure a starter over Alli for the run in?

    1. Rhinos

      Alli in for son possibly.
Then again any city or spurs mid could get rested.
Can see lukaku rested for dgw with rash and martial starting. Either way a good bench might help

They would play the first team in the last home game of the season. Hence the second game could be marred by rotation. Doubt they will play the first team so many times before a cup final.

Keep Mahrez, he's 99.9% guaranteed to play 2 full games (bar injury) at home to two teams terrible away from home. One has tge worst away defense in the pl, the other is terrible away from home with their strongest line-up, and will be fielding a very weakened team.

hi, thanks for the report. is the problem still occurring?

if so could you please email the following details to matw@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk

        1. a screenshot which shows the ad on the page (not the popover). on mobile this is currently only the spot at the top of the page, unless sidebar is expanded then its 2 sidebar Ads too. on desktop it could be any of top Ad, Sidebar Ads or Footer Ad.

        2. the device, browser, country and connection type (wifi/adsl/cable or mobile carrier) your using.

        3. if possible the landing page url (of the Ad not the popover or redirect).

any of the above will help me to track down the Ad so that it can be blocked. our ad network also has automated tools for removing such ads so it *should* just disappear hopefully quite quickly either way.

        thanks.

      3. if possible the landing page url (of the Ad not the popover or redirect).

any of the above will help me to track down the Ad so that it can be blocked. our ad network also has automated tools for removing such ads so it *should* just disappear hopefully quite quickly either way.

      thanks.

      Yes mate GTG.

I'm planning Alonso and Willian out for Sterling and Lacelles this week (I am in a cash ML cup final GW36 and I have no City, he has Sterling, Jesus and Lacelles, top price is a little wedge)

Vardy to Jesus for DGW37 is my next week planned transfer.

    Please answer to these:
    1) Is VanDerHoorn nailed?
    2) Mahrez->Sterling now for free?
    3) Alonso+Willian+Mahrez+Barnes -> VanDerHoorn+Milivojevic+Sterling+Jesus for -12? May be priced out tonight.

    Current team:

    DeGea Ryan
    Alonso Vertonghen Smalling Tarkowski Morgan
    Salah Mahrez Son Willian Lingard
    Kane Vardy Barnes

    1 FT, 0.7 itb

Think VdH is nailed on, yeah.

If I were you, I'd keep Alonso and just go for 2) Mahrez > Sterling.

To the tune of Tupac's Dear Mama, a heartfelt rap for none other than Lukaku:

When I was young, me and Lukaku had beef
Nineteen years old, kicked out of my team
Though back at the time I never thought I’d see his face
Ain’t a striker alive that can take Lukaku’s place
I shed tears with my fellow Rom backers, over the years
People would call you Trollkaku and other mean things
And even though you wouldn’t always explode like a bomb
When things went wrong everyone else would always blame Rom
I reminisce on the punts I took, it was hell
Until I captained Rom, I wasn’t doing well
And who'd think in GW 34, hey
Mourinho would bench Lukaku that day?
    Benched against Bournemouth, that's right
Kaku came on and scored a goal for my side
And even as a blanker against big sides, Rom
You never was a Trollkaku in my eyes, Rom
    I finally understand
For a flat track bully it ain't easy tryin' to score against a top team
    You always was committed
A great striker playing for a bus parker, tell me how you did it
There's no way I can pay you back, but the plan
Is to show you that I understand: you are appreciated

Romelu, don't you know we love ya? (Dear Kaku)
Sweet Kaku, place no one above ya (You are appreciated)
Sweet Kaku, don't you know we love ya?

Now, ain't nobody tell us it was fair
No love from Kane, ‘cause the mouthbreather wasn't there
He got injured and I didn't cry, ‘cause my anger
Wouldn't let me feel for a blanker
They say I'm wrong and I'm heartless, but all along
I was lookin' for a captain, and it shoulda been Rom
I put my faith in Harry Kane, people told me I couldn’t go wrong
And even though he helped others rise through the ranks
He showed this young brother blanks
I got desperate and kept captaining Kane
“No way Kane won’t score again” is how I felt inside
I was wrong, cuz even though I captained Harry ten times
He only returned for me thrice times
I love captaining Rom when Rom is due
I hope you got the letter of praise that I sent to you
‘Cause when I was low on points you was there for me
And never left me alone, because you scored for me
And I could see you comin' on as a sub late
You're in the box, tryin' to fix us a goal mate
You just workin' with the scraps you was given
And Lukaku made miracles every captainin’
But now the road got rough, you're alone
According to others, you’re just a troll
And there's no way I can pay you back, but my plan
Is to show you that I understand: you are appreciated

Romelu, don't you know we love ya? (Dear Kaku)
Sweet Kaku, place no one above ya (You are appreciated)
Sweet Kaku, don't you know we love ya?

Pour out some liquor and I reminisce
‘Cause through the drama I can always depend on Lukaku
And when it seems that I'm hopeless
You score the goals that can get me back in focus
When I doubted you like a little kid
To keep me happy there's no limit to the things you did
    And all my FPL memories
Are full of all the sweet things you did for me
And even though I act crazy
I gotta thank you for the 42 points vs Bournemouth that you gave me
There are no words that can express how I feel
You never blanked when I captained you, always stayed real
And I appreciate how you repaid me
And all the doubled points that you gave me
I wish I never had to say goodbye
Your ceiling may be low but your floor is high
Unfortunately Jesus’ fixtures have more appeal
Just hope Pep stops rotating like a wheel
And there's no way I can pay you back, but my plan
Is to show you that I understand: you are appreciated

Romelu, don't you know we love ya? (Dear Kaku)
Sweet Kaku, place no one above ya (You are appreciated)
Sweet Kaku, don't you know we love ya?

Up to 1,366. So close to that three digit figure but I afraid my team doesn't look anywhere near good enough for this gwk. I've no City and won't have any without a hit.

      you don't need Jesus.

Salah ---> a City mid might be better than Mahrez out if Salah is confirmed rested this weekend,
