After a barnstorming match between Cardiff City and Arsenal on Sunday lunchtime, the two 16:00 BST kick-offs at Vicarage Road and Turf Moor bring Gameweek 4 to an end.

Tottenham Hotspur have made three changes to the side that beat Manchester United last Monday, with Ben Davies (£5.8m), Davinson Sanchez (£5.9m) and Michel Vorm (£4.9m) – in for the injured Hugo Lloris (£5.5m) – the men to come in. Danny Rose (£5.9m) and Eric Dier (£4.9m) drop to the bench.

Sanchez’s inclusion means that Mauricio Pochettino’s side are set to employ a 3-5-2 formation this afternoon, with Lucas Moura (£7.2m) possibly set to join Harry Kane (£12.5m) in attack – as the Brazilian did in the 3-1 win over Fulham. Moura was the second-most-bought player of Gameweek 4, being drafted in by more than half a million Fantasy Premier League managers.

Watford, meanwhile, are unchanged for the fourth successive league match.

The injured Phil Jones (£5.2m) is one of three players to drop out of Jose Mourinho’s starting XI, with Fred (£5.8m) and Ander Herrera (£5.0m) forced to watch on from the bench.

Alexis Sanchez (£10.2m), Marouane Fellaini (£5.0m) and Victor Lindelof (£4.9m) earn a reprieve to the United first team, which looks on paper to be a 4-3-3 following the wing-back experiment of Gameweek 3.

United are yet to keep a clean sheet this season (having recorded a league-high 19 in 2017/18) and David De Gea (£5.9m) – the most-sold goalkeeper of this round – has the worst save percentage of all the Premier League shot-stoppers this campaign.

Having naming an unchanged team for his side’s first three league matches, Sean Dyche has rotated his full-backs, with Charlie Taylor (£4.5m) and Phil Bardsley (£4.4m) replacing Stephen Ward (£4.9m) and Matthew Lowton (£4.9m).

An injury to Johann Berg Gudmundsson (£5.9m) means that 18-year-old Dwight McNeil gets a start on the left flank.

Burnley XI: Hart; Taylor, Tarkowski, Mee, Bardsley; Cork, Hendrick, Westwood, Lennon, McNeil; Wood.

Manchester United XI: De Gea; Valencia, Lindelof, Smalling, Shaw; Fellaini, Matic, Pogba; Lingard, Lukaku, Sanchez.

Watford XI: Foster; Janmaat, Cathcart, Kabasele, Holebas; Hughes, Capoue, Doucoure, Pereyra; Deeney, Gray.

Spurs XI: Vorm; Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Sanchez, Davies; Dembele, Eriksen, Dele; Lucas, Kane.

Anyone else struggling on a wildcard?
I want Liverpool players but the fixtures are so tough.
    I also can’t find 4.5m goalkeepers I’m happy with.

Anyone else having problems? Or finding it easy?

Fabianski Ryan or Patrico (only pat if you have no Wolves defence though, wouldn't be doubling up)
I've kept salah and robbo personally

Fabianski I’m worried about with West Ham being so poor.
Bennett at 4m seems a bargain, and as you say wouldn’t double up.

TAA is the player I’d go for, 1.1m cheaper than Robertson, and has set pieces, but the fixtures concern me...and rotation...but that’s the same with pretty much any top team full backs.
I’d be happy to swap Salah for Mane, to fund Hazard.

      on a wc too.
I put in Patricio & Hennessey as GK. they rotate well.
i am sticking with salah & robbo but took mane out for hazard.

Hennessey I’m worried about. Palace are shipping goals, and they have a goalkeeper they paid £15m or so in the summer ready to come in.
Which is a shame as the fixtures are solid.

I’m more likely to go Bennett, and Wan Bissaka, with three premium defenders.

Ah so just a money issue?
Fair enough, I have Salah, Aguero and Kane pre wildcard. TAA would be a conpremise as I can’t stretch to Robertson.

Wondered if you were dropping him due to tough fixtures.

Haven’t hit the WC button for this reason. Got Mkhi/Bilva/Pedro all of whom benched this week but could easily start in favourable games next week. Such a nightmare!

I’m looking at picking up Talisman-esque players when I do it before GW6. Maddison/Mitro/Richarlison are on the radar. Hopefully more rotation proof + still kind fixtures.

      1. HamezMace
        • 12 Years

I also haven’t hit the button yet, just playing around with the team I could create. As I say I’m struggling.

Took the drop on De Gea last night...but really I’m quite happy with him for the next four games anyway.

My team looks fine for next GW...but I don’t have Hazard, or Mane, who I want, and only one premium defender in Mendy....and I’d like Alonso.

I’d need to lose Kane or Salah to fund that, and I don’t know if I want to do it either

    Ryan • Hamer
    Alonso • Mendy • Robertson • Wan-Bissaka • Bennett
    Hazard • Mané • DSilva • Pedro • Fraser
    Agüero • Wilson • Mitrovic
    0.8 ITB

How about this WC team? Plan to go temporarily without Salah but can downgrade DSilva to Richarlison and change Hazard to Salah later if needed once Liverpools schedule looks better.

Not sure on the best goalkeeper combo and whether I should change Wilson to Ings to allow a 4.5 rotation rather than 4.5/4.0. Any other issues you can see?

This still seems very current template. Do you really need a wildcard to move to this team?

Surely the wildcard should be used when there is a major shift in players/balance restructure. This seems like a maximum of 4 transfers which could be spread out over two weeks.

Also... Kane should be central to any upcoming wildcard team.

      1. KickIt
        • Fantasy Football Scout Member

I think the core team of players is now apparent. I can't see a way to get Kane with Aguero too, so it is one or the other. If Aguero starts to get rotated and Kane starts firing I will downgrade Robertson to a 4.5 to pay for Kane.

      Benching headaches, dont u think?

Except next GW, when you will prob bench Mitrovic, you will always have to bench one of Wilson/Fraser. Who will you decide? Isnt that a bit of a waste of money on your bench?

        • Fantasy Football Scout Member

True, but Fraser is only 5.6 so will be first on my bench, could be useful with the upcoming rotation. Neves is another option but I do have the money spare at the moment.

I really don’t get the substitutions Pochettino tends to make with fullbacks around 85-90 min mark?
Its a like for like change, its not enough time to have an impact and if anything it’s a waste of time and a substitution - good example is today’s match.

    Can anyone explain this?

Two 99 scores and then two 50 scores. Strange first four game weeks

A subtle way to brag a score of 298. Well done anyway.

Your bench is a bit weak. I’d hold and see what happens in the internationals.
