Nervous about not owning Haz, but I still have Leno, Lovren (Bargains), Martial (or Balbuena 6) & Aubameyang. Got a good feeling about Aubameyang, just wish I captained over Kane...

Yeah I fear Auba alot! You should do well with those today. I also captained Kane, wasn’t great

I'm doing OK this week over 40+ points with 4 to play but last week was my worst week in FPL history a complete bloodbath of a GW. It was so bad I didn't even qualify for the cup... Went from being in top 100k to roughly 250k rank back below 200k rank now hopefully can sneak into top 100k if things go well again today.

      1. J T
        • 9 Years

Yeah I had a similar terrible week last week didn’t qualify for the cup nearly 5m gw rank

      • 9 Years

Top 10k average is 37 with 4 to play (mix of Alonso, Kola, Robertson, Salah, Hazard, Auba)
Overall average us 22 with 6 to play (mix of Alonso, Kola, VVD, Robertson, Salah, Hazard, Mane, Auba, Firmino)

This isn't a high scoring GW......

    5. AuFeld
      • 9 Years
      7 years, 7 months ago

Ebbs and Flows. I usually do better when the masses don't perform. I had 40 points last week (didn't qualify for the cup) and now I have 52 pts with Alonso, Hazard, and Auba to go and Fabi to be subbed in with nine points.

So who’s the best TAA replacement? I have 5.3 to spend. I dont own doherty, but i own Patricio so im hesitant to double up on Wolves defenders. Digne a good option? Or maybe Kolasinac?

I must say. Kane captainers (myself included), so lucky to get that assist at the end. Spurs looked horrible, and Kane in particular. Looked like he had put on his ice-skates and not cleats.

Getting Kane in was the worst case of groupthink ever. Ignoring all those blanks in plum home fixtures. Ignoring this season's heat map. And worse of all ... ignoring Mark's advice about premium forwards.

It's not the worst ever. At least he has chipped in with the odd return.

I'm so used to him blanking when you need him most, but the reality is that he has blanked once in the last seven GWs.

Not good enough for £12.5m. He's knackered and dropping deep. Every time I watch him he looks leggy and tired. An explosive haul just doesn't look realistic.

Come back next week after he’s scored a brace against Everton mate.

He won’t haul every single week. Like most players. Patience required.

Kane has same number of assists as Alli, Lamela & Moura combined (4). Good for Kane but pretty poor for attacking midfielders.

I'm satisfied with Kane over the last 3 GWs. Averaging 8.5 PPG in the two games he started. Didn't hear anyone complaining after the 12 pointer against Southampton.

You need to listen to the "planet FPL" pod, m8. They are Spurs experts and go to every game. You'll change your mind then.

I'll check it out but I doubt it will change my mind. I've been extremely critical of Kane both from a footballing and FPL perspective this season but I got him in for this run of fixtures and his nailedness over the Xmas period. I still think the points will come so I'm keeping faith. Sometimes being patient is the best move, as shown by Salah owners last week.

Kane historically has always got the larger % of his goals after Xmas.
He certainly isn't worth the money or captaincy atm.
Playing with different mids who don't necessarily complement his goalscoring.
Main issue is regardless of Kane's comparative lack of goals (only 3 down on this time last season) Spurs are going well. Team have nearly same number of goals as same stage last season 31 v. 30. Their record pts total for this stage of the season.
So while they are winning (no matter how ugly) and progressing in Europe don't see Poch wanting to change too much.

Do people expect players to haul every game? Its never going to happen. At that price you are looking for consistency, and with those fixtures he will probably deliver in most games. Yes he only got an assist yesterday, but thats better than nothing.

      Set my mind at ease
There is no doubt your in my heart now

      Said woman take it slow
And things will be just fine
All we need is just a little patience
Said sugar take the time and we'll come together fine

You and I will just use a little patience
      Oh yea
I sit here on my stairs cause I'd rather be alone
If I can't have you alright ill wait here
Sometimes I get so tense but I can't speed up the time
In true no love there's one more thing to consider

Said woman take it slow and things will be just fine
You and I will just use a little patience
Said sugar take the time and will come together fine

You and I got what it takes to make it
      We won't fake it
      Oh we'll never break it
      'Cause I couldn't take it

I've been walking the streets at night
Just trying to get a right
It's hard to see with so many around
You know I don't like being stuck in the crowd
And the streets don't change but maybe the names

I ain't got time for the pain

    Is any considering Aguero?

I have both Sane + Sterling but I think he’s a great differential in the active player base.

Only that West Ham he wasn’t involved in the goals but City tend to score more when he’s in the team.
