    Ederson. Hamer.
    Alonso. VVD. Bellerin. Bennett. Peltier.
Salah. Sterling. F. Anderson. Fraser. Kayal.
    Aubameyang. Wilson. Kamara.

    Should I do::

Alonso+ Kayal > David Luiz + Snodgrass....??? Or Should I keep Alonso...?? Cuz he is 6.8 in my team and outside he is 7.0 and I can't afford to get him back later....... What u say..??

While Kamara's starting I probably wouldn't - just play him (new, WOL, HUD) and bench Kayal

Why not downgrade Anderson to Snograss to free up some cash?

      1. Demel
        • 14 Years

Because Anderson is a better pick than Snodgrass.

I think he probably is. Snodgrass has more of a risk attached. He could keep delivering. But he could go off the boil and be rotated out of the team. With Anderson you know returns are coming (as well as you can know). Don't get me wrong Snodgrass is a great pick for his price. But he isn't a direct replacement for Anderson in my eyes.

Double City attack but no Spurs?

Also don’t like non playing keeper unless it’s a handcuff, especially at this time of year.

Personally, I’d downgrade Azpi to Luiz and Anderson to Snodgrass and do Kun to Kane if funds allowed.

I think it is important to have some Spurs’ attacking assets as well.

Maybe Azpi to Luiz or Anderson to Snodgrass to free up funds to “upgrade” Richarlison to Son.

I like the Richarlison pick a lot, in fact, but I also consider that Son may outscore him until the end of the year

    Ryan Button

You're doomed if Auba and/or Kane go mad which is very likely with their fixtures.

It is an easy midfield to make. Just hard to shift funds around and lacks a little in squad balance. Still a good option. But I still stand by Kane over Salah for the next few weeks.

      1. Nomar
        • 16 Years
        7 years, 7 months ago

Yes, anyone and everyone can have that MF but at the expense of the rest of their team.

I agree that one of Kane or Aubameyang is essential for captaincy purposes. Just one week of not having either of them for an offensive armband explosion could seriously derail you.

Played RB for a portion of the game to negate Wolves’ setup.

Safe to say it didn’t work so hopefully he’s back to where he belongs next game.

      1. The Big Fella

Yeah. To bring Salah in I need to downgrade Siggy. I wanted to bring in Rich but I am 0.2 short and the only other decent mid in that price range is Fraser but don't want him if he is playing RB which is what it looked like

      No, attacking mid.

Opponents of my team for next week are:

    WAT
    BUR/CRY/FUL
    BHA/WAT/wol/CRY
    BUR/new/eve

Have some issues to resolve (lacazette, yedlin, maybe mitro) but i should surely save ft here right?

    1. Demel
      • 14 Years
      7 years, 7 months ago

It doesn't often matter who they play but how they perform. For example if your new player is Kamara he isn't likely to score many points.

      1. Silecro
        • 8 Years
        7 years, 7 months ago

i agree. I have some ideas to bring maybe aguero or double west ham but thing that makes me reluctant is that i would have to ship out somebody with really juicy fixture, like lacazette vs burnley at home

        1. Demel
          • 14 Years

I would be more reluctant by Aguero's rotation risk now Jesus has found some form.

When a coach subs off his two keepers and now forced to use an outfield player as the goalie also this outfield player makes a penalty save. Would fpl reward the player for the penalty save and would it be equals to that of keepers?

Because if you've saved a penalty then you've saved a penalty. Same way as if a goalie scores a goal he gets credited for it.

      2. Demel
        • 14 Years
        7 years, 7 months ago

I am not sure that is correct. Under the rules doesn't it just put pen saves under goalkeeper potential points. It doesn't list it under outfielders.

Because you aren't an outfield player anymore the moment you put on the GK jersey. Check detailed stats for outfield players, they have 'Penalties Saved' there.

Nice quotes from the BBC comments section for Liverpool vs Man Utd:

"I have a feeling Utd may well get something from this game...

    and

"People are so cruel, I heard a horrible noise last night and opened the door to see 4 men in Man U shirts playing football with a cat.

keep wilson one more game then get rid, laca should go. Kenedy is useless. Liverpool defence is probably bad with so many injuries. You have a lot of fires to put out I dont know where to start, kenedy to snodgrass may be ok

To add my completely irrelevant two pennies worth on kane.

I can find no real correlation between who plays with him and his output. Spurs, I see, have fundamentally changed there style of play. They used to routinely take shot alot, yet they are more often being conservative than cavalier.

Kane is clearly taking a increasing playmaker role within the team with the 'wingers' bombing on. Son, moura, lamela all 'looking' more threating in the final 3rd.

That said what I saw of the spurs game gave me a little hope as Kane was taking up good positions and on another day could have had a goal and and assist. But that also the problem, he isnt the focus anymore and so for me he isn't worth the money, plain and simple.

I think we only need to look at the player table to see where the value actually is, and that's midfield with a plethora of decent mid priced and cheap strikers. It's all the rage, and for good reason.

Statistically defence is the higher value yield of points

However short term mids doo look good, but for how long?

Agreed but when they have easy fixtures and could score 3,4 goals then Kane is still the man.

On wc, kane or aguero ? have sane and no spurs cover... I just feel kane is SO expensive for his returns...also could see Aguero really doing well againt palace. can't decide 🙂

Aguero will be rotated a lot. People sold him because he wasn't performing when rotation wasn't an issue. Now he has that threat he becomes an even worse pick. Just one to monitor for now.

For Kane you have to decide which 3 of Salah, Sterling, Kane and Hazard you want.

One good thing about Kane is that he’ll most likely keep his place over the Christmas period, whereas Kun may be rotated with Jesus.

I prefer Kun to Kane, yes, but I would wait some more GWs until Kun finds his good form again and holds his place.

Son is a great attacking asset to go, in my opinion

Iv read a few things on here about Kane.

Kane was unlucky not to get a further 10pts. If anything I was pleased with his performance yesterday from FF perspective.

The exact same happened with Salah last week. People saying not worth the money-he then scores hatrick when he supposedly not playing his best.

Spurs havnt been playing their best and he's still ticking over. He's on pens, and with Erikson back.

The herd mentality is crazy on here sometimes.

Auba, Kane and Salah will go close for top scorer this season. Spurs have great fixtures, increasing the probability of Kane getting large yields from the fixtures.

P.s I got rid of Salah from taking random opinions, my fault and had to stand over it

Just lots of people with lots of opinions, all believing their logic is the most sound.
I may disagree with you, doesn't mean I'm right.

what do you guys think about david brook's chances of being back in the bournemouth XI next weekend?

Doing pretty well in the sky game and don't want to blow my chances of a top 5 finish with a dead spot but it's also gonna cost me a bunch of transfers I don't really want to spend to efficiently remove him.

    Who wins it today?

    A) Robertson + Alonso + Laca
    or
    B) Kolasinac + Salah + Auba

    ??

      You would think B.

Unless Alonso scores and Robertson keeps a cleanie and gets some assists.

Ditch him this week itself if you don't have other fires to put off. Bournemouth look jaded and dire.

Try to rotate him with Jiminez if you can I think. Both great value, pretty nailed and in decent form.

So someone posted about a 'heavy' midfield of Salah, Hazard, Sterling, Sane, Rich a while back and now I see all sorts of teams and ideas about how this is the way to go. This place can he shocking yet funny at times. Herd mentality is what you can call it.

No, thanks. Will stick with my Kane and Auba pick. There's a reason why I bought them and it doesn't make sense to knee-jerk seeing a bunch of people getting Salah back because he scored a hatty.
