Five-time top 1k FPL finisher Tom Freeman on Calvert-Lewin, Wolves and his Gameweek 2 plans

Ahead of Gameweek 3, I have two free transfers and £0.5m in the bank.

The graphic below shows how I’m currently set up prior to making any transfers, and as you can see, I need to prioritise a defensive move to ensure I have four starters. 

I’d also like to have two frees for the international break, so any further adjustments will have to wait. 

So, onto my transfer then.

    Many were convinced by Bruno after his hatrick and then disappointed.

      I've been avoiding as I have Benrahma already and I need to see if he can stay fit. Had him a number of times last season and never lasted more than 3-4 weeks at a time. This'll be his third game and then we'll see what the situation is with the IB and if he goes and plays whether he stays fit or not. If it looks like he's turned a corner I'll go there, it's risky going without now of course but I just need to see if things have changed.

      As an FPL manager its hard to block out the noise of our little bubble. At the end of the day you have to go with what your gut says. I think there's merit in choosing him as West Ham's attack looks lethal right now. 8 goals, highest xG for the team and him personally. And they've been good goals too. Form is certainly important.

      You could also argue it was against Newcastle and Leicester 10 men, and Palace have been relatively solid and should have a good shape... not to mention 3 hauls in a row is a lot to ask.

      I've got my eye on DCL atm but it's a tough call.

      If red comes up twice before, does it mean red won't come up again or will it be black?

      Just because he's done it in the last two games, it doesn't mean he won't do it in the next.

      He could do it in all 38 games this season, however unlikely, but each game is independent. Antonio is in red-hot form and normally you would want to back the fixtures and the form.
