Mark Sutherns’ FPL Gameweek 4 preview and Wildcard team reveal

And it’s live active! Mark Sutherns has hit the ‘Play Wildcard’ button and he’s discussing it with Andy North tonight on the latest live stream for Premium Members of Fantasy Football Scout.

The Wildcard talk dominates but there is plenty of room for other hot topics as Andy and Mark chat about all things Fantasy Premier League (FPL) in the run-up to Saturday’s Gameweek 4 deadline.

Mark, a four-time top 1k finisher, collected 35 points in Gameweek 3 but was unfortunate enough to remove Brennan Johnson (£5.9m) in a four-point hit, just before he bagged nine points at Everton.

‘Sutherns Comfort’ was still without Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) and Gabriel Jesus (£8.2m) last weekend, so Son Heung-min (£11.9m) was handed the captaincy for his blank against Wolves.

How many of his original side have survived the cull?

As well as revealing their Gameweek 4 teams and transfers, Mark and Andy will also answer some questions from those tuning into the stream live.

        Who would you downgrade Bailey too, I am pretty happy for him to rot on my bench with wildcard to be used in a few weeks.

          To Amy non playing 4.5 don't need Bailey when you have Andrea's and Williams imo plus he may go down again. However holding give you two transfers or hit to get in a better starter than Bailey this week. Either way you team looks good

    On a wildcard. Can anyone give me positive reason to downgrade Cancelo to Walker? Will Walker retain his place once CL games start or will say Sergio Gomez play in some PL games with Cancelo switching to RB?

      My feeling is that Cancelo and Gomez will play in the CL, leaving Walker PL fixtures but it's not based on anything other than Gomez is better on the ball than Walker.

        Fair comment. I think I may start with Cancelo - monitor the first CL game and the PL game afterwards - then downgrade to either Gomez or Walker if one of them appears to get PL gametime. That's the sensible move I feel for now

      I'd do Mount to Martinelli and then take it from there:

      A) roll other FT
      B) Iversen to Sanchez to solve GK issue
      C) Bailey to Harrison actually (even if you can afford Rodrigo)
