    Flekken
    Estupinan Dunk Gabriel Stones
    Salah Rashford Saka Martinelli
    Haaland DCL

    Areola Nakamba Kabore Osula

Been pretty set on this lately, some minor changes that I've been considering though:

    A) DCL & Stones (draft above, 442)
    B) Mbeumo & Joao Pedro (352)

Lots of good picks but too much funds on the bench for me.

Leno and Enciso/Ndiaye to 4.0GK and 4.5Mid/For gets you up to 1.5 in the bank. Can do something positive with those funds.

As a Newcastle fan I hope I’m wrong but I expect Botman to be 4.3 by GW5.

People havent adjusted still to Newcastle

Trippier will be in everyones team week 5 again, and decent chance of returns before that.

Can see Newcastle doing very well bar week 2

I’d like to think we’ll get a few results out of the first 4 but I’d say it’s unlikely we get more than 1 CS given the opponent.

Come GW5 I think a defensive double up will be an option.

Trippier’s potential will depend on if Tonali takes any set pieces off him.

given his xA theat any cleansheet is a bonus, i have a viable team below which would allow him from the start

Actually i think there is a case for having Wilson (if you can bench him week 2)

Haaland Watkins Wilson could very well be the template come week 5/6

pens, high xG per 90 etc, Isak is the only issue

            1. CABAYE4

With Barnes in, Gordon starring for the 21s and European fixtures to contend with I suspect it’ll be back to Wilson or Isak not both.

if either gets injured the other becomes a great pick. Otherwise I’m not convinced (although I said this in the run in last year and was wrong!)

Jackson from chelsea. Looked very sharp, but i Don't know how pochettino will line up, so many players or the front 3.
    Joao pedro, enciso
    Darwin
    Bowen -only 7
    Danny ings - only 6.

      B with Rashford.

      Genuinely easy decision.

I’d wait on Liverpool signing a new CDM and that player being integrated alongside the other 2 new midfielder signings before committing 8.0m.

        Pickford
        Gabriel | Saliba | Estupinan

Heres my stab at a team which will be close to template by week 5 but viable from week 1

    Onana
    Trippier Tarkowski Gabriel Stones
    Rashford Saka Martinelli
    Watkins Haaland Nkunku
    4m Chilwell, Nakamba, 4,5

All tailsmen, all nailed , set and forgot mostly , Tarkowski only for week 1, becomes Pau week 2. Chillwell play week 2 for Trippier who is benched. Covers all nice fixtures and avoids brighton who dont have a settled team, lack defenders and will be rotated up top.

If you look at the fixtures ahead the above team is perfect for e.g week 5 and onwards for Villa , Newcastle and covers the early fixtures also. I may do this and play set and forget if i do make a team this year

There are no forwards to go up in funds to really

Tippier will be everyones headache from week 4/5 , could well have 1-2 cleansheets by then or 2-3 assists + 3-6 bonus

i dont see a great fixture turn until week 9

Heres an alternative draft to make people think

Using the striker positions in early week for transfers when some minutes maybe higher (Alvarez + Darwin) to chase hauls , trippier is benched week 2 only

    Onana
    Estup Trippier Tarkowski Stones
    Saka Martinelli Rashford
    Jesus Alvarez Haaland
    4mil Chillwell Nakamba, 4mil

Week 2 : Alvarez to Darwin for Bou at home
week 3: Darwin to Nkunku for Chelsea fixture run
Week 4: Jesus > Alvarez for Fulham
week 5: Alvarez to Watkins for longterm

My thinking here re Haaland/Rashford v’s Salah/Kane is that last year, man United had a very good season and Haaland had an incredible start to his City career. On the other hand, both Spurs and Liverpool were very poor by their normal standards and yet Sarah and Kane together amassed more points. I can only see both Spurs and Liverpool improving this year, so is it worth the risk of going without Haaland or do you guys think he can actually improve on last season?
