    Flekken
    Timber - Schar - Colwill
    Salah - Saka - Foden - Richarlison - Mitoma
    Haaland - João Pedro/Jackson

    Areola - João Pedro/Jackson - Aguerd - Beyer

Who's better value for money - TAA or Salah?

I want one of them but can't decide. Not keen on how leaky LIV's defence is, and assume Salah will get more assists and goals.

    Thanks!

The combos with them would be:

      TAA + Rashford
      Or
      Salah and a 4.5 DEF

I'm set on the rest of my team, I think

Haha I know right. I feel like Jota is more versatile and therefore could get lots of gametime. But in that, Diaz becomes the out and out LWF candidate, which could see him lots of gametime too. Haha who knows

I've always felt strongly since the end of last season, that this season is Diaz and Darwin's, only the emergence of a fully fit Jota firing, and the comments about defence from klopp, is swaying me away from that initial feeling

Martinelli just becomes more nailed imo, as he wont be competing with Trossard on the LWF.
I feel like the other 2 could compete for the CF role or even Trossard and others compete for the LWF role if Martinelli pushes into the CF

Forest got hammered 5-0 in their last friendly, I for sure am going with three Arsenal players from the off as they play Forest at home. I've had Saka/Ode/Mart in my draft pretty much the whole time so might just stick with it and see for now.

My current draft. Any thoughts? Feels risky going for two 4.0 defenders, but they both seem nailed, and I like having 0.5 ITB in case I want to do e.g. Jackson -> Nkunku/Darwin after a couple of GWs.

    Onana (Areola)
    Estupinan, TAA, Gabriel (Baldock, Beyer)
    Mitoma, Mbeumo, Bruno, Saka, Rashford

    Hello all!

Your opinions and ratings welcome on this draft, and I will offer my views to everyone who contributes:

    Onana
    Gabriel, Stones, Chilwell, Estu
    Martinelli, Saka, Foden, Bruno
    Haaland, Watkins
    --
    Areola, Enciso, Vinicius, Baldock

    Some thoughts behind it:
    1) I did not want to plan any transfers from the off, as I imagine I will need all the FT's I get.
    2) Nkuku was considered for Watkins. As was Mitoma for Enciso, but I want to have some money in case of price rises.
    4) Liverpool starters are very uncertain for me, even if I wanted Jota or Darwin.
    5) The Eze, Diaby 6.5 mids are on red alert if Foden is
    6) Still not sure about Bruno vs. Rashford either.
    7) Also thought Ferguson would do well, but too much rotation coming at Brighton, so I went two up front instead.

    Thanks!

        No, I can agree.
I had Nkunku before his knock. Might go Alvarez for the first games if I feel adventureous, and drop Foden for a 6.5.

To follow up on this, you know if you go Watkins and Foden to Alvarez and a 6.5 then you have enough money to upgrade Martinelli to Salah...

          1. Bobby Crush
            • 11 Years
            3 years, 8 days ago

Now that is tempting, especially with other attacking Liverpool options difficult to pin down.

But it would leave nothing ITB, which is too risky imo. Loses too much flex.

What do I do then when KdB returns and Alvarez is not playing? No money for upgrading to a 7,5 forward.

And I'll add that this draft actually does have 0.5 ITB

                Onana
                Gabriel Stones Chilwell Estupinan
                Salah Saka Bruno Mitoma

      Solid. Great back 4.

Solid mid though I would prefer Rash over Bruno - very marginal call though.

Not sure I would waste 0.5 on Vinicius - when are you ever really gonna play him.

Yes, Bruno vs. Rash is still not decided. Very fine lines.

I won't play Vini, but I like having a starter to cover as I have Enciso.
I got 1.0 ITB now, so not sure what the extra 0.5 could do?

          Tough calls.

Your team is quite similar to my current thoughts.

I have Gab, Estu, Stones (4.5/4) in a 3-5-2 and really want Chilwell, but don’t want to drop any of my 3, so the answer may be 4 at the back like you have gone for. But equally I love my 5 man midfield.

It’s enough to give you a headache!

Yes, the formation question is still a bit open, with so many good options in the 6,5 mid bracket.

Chilwell is very attacking though, so it might even be Stones who loses out after a few games if Pep starts Peppin about.

I think it’s risky. One niggle felt by Haaland in the warm-up and you definitely have 10 men. Also we all predict we will want a Chelsea forward at some point

Yes, the down trade be done.
Who do you suggest for Encisio?

Fulham will well struggle, but slim pickings from cheap forwards who will play. Perhaps one of he promoted sides will come up with someone?

Do you have any ITB? If you can get to 6.5 then there are obviously quite a few options (Mitoma, Mbuemo Eze etc)
If 6m then maybe Gibbs-White but then you have the same problem that Forest will likely struggle! Maybe even Andreas for Fulham if he's more nailed/central to their play?

No Mitoma and Rashford are big rank threats obvs but you've clearly thought about that.

I got 1.0 ITB, which is to deal with price changes the first weeks.

Yes, I could switch Bruno to Rashford, but not sure it will have such a massive influence.
Mitoma was there in the last draft, and this is a bit of a worry.

If I go Watkins to Alvarez or Nkunku if he is ok, I might upgrade to Mitoma when I lose Foden.

I would have a 6.0 or 6.5 on my bench though. So not sure I want that either.

Yeah, that's fair. My current draft sees me having to bench a strong player which isn't ideal

    Struggling somewhat.

Have 8m to spend on a midfielder, currently Martinelli. Already have Saka, Bruno and Foden making up the other 3.

Keeping Martinelli means it blocks Jesus if I want him in the future. But not convinced on anyone, unless I maybe drop to Mbuemo and keep the 1.5 itb

    Best option here folks???….

    A- Watkins and Mbeumo/Mitoma
    Or
    B- Jackson and Foden

A seems most sensible and B seems more exiting!!

    Thoughts appreciated!!

I do rally like Foden, I could get him for one of M and M if I just went for a 4.0 4.5 4.0 4.0 bench which is definitely a consideration

I like both, Think I’m right in saying that last season both had 3 attacking returns(Gab 3 goals, Saliba 2 goal and 1 assist) Saliba played 1000 less minutes and got 14 bonus to Gabriel’s 15 bonus, so maybe Saliba is being overlooked a little

Saliva scored worldies but Gabriel was more traditional. Only one LCB in Gabriel. Timber Saliba White all right footed..
I think Raya would only improve Arsenal's defence. Better than Ramsdale

Palace had yhe 4th best least expected goals last season. Him and Steele, Brighton were 5th are the best 4.5. Raya made the most saves and Flekken looks awful

Onana or Man Utd were 9th but DGG made alot of saves but just can't distribute
