    Gabriel has to go

Like the look of Udogie but can he be considered nailed? Safety would mean Henry of Brighton but can see udogie picking up some points this year if he stays in the team.

Looks set for game time it seems. The way I see it is if he gets rotated a bit just need a solid 4th defender who rotates well with him and come in for him. And the back up 4m defender can hopefully secure a 2 pointer if all else fails

Best start for me for years.

Still managed to screw up my captain choice in gw1 (usually it's Salah giving my rank a spanking in the early weeks)

Went for Rashford in both GW's. Would be on 10 more points had I captained Haaland in gw 1.

Captaincy is something I always struggle with.

Sitting on 71 this gw after bonus and a total of 144.

    Onana
    Turner (played)

    Saliba
    Estupinian
    Pinnock
    Konsa (bench)
    Botman (bench)

    Saka
    Rashford
    Bruno
    Mbemo
    Mitoma

    Haaland
    Watkins
    Pedro (bench)

Chelsea are tempting with their run but I don't know if I can get off either Rashford or Bruno with forest at home.

Rolled my transfer last week so have two to spare.

Cheers mate. I did rubbish last year but managed to do well in the second chance league (after the world cup)so maybe I'm getting back into the groove.

That's a shout, I could just do him to Jackson couldn't I. That does mean locking up another 1.5 in the attack though....

Having to wait on pressers as I unfortunately brought in Maddison ahead of GW2...

    Onana
    Chilwell Gabriel Estupiñán
    Rashford Saka Martinelli Maddison Eze
    Haaland Jackson
    Turner // Pedro Udogie Kabore

    Favourite move here?
    A) Pedro > Alvarez
    B) Maddison* > Foden
    C) Maddison* > Mbeumo
    D) Eze > Foden
    E) Eze > Mbeumo

*If Maddison injured more than a week.

Eze could stay, price is moving in the wrong direction though annoyingly. Am so considering March/Mitoma too still but Mbeumo already been a bit painful.

Saka without pens and Rashford, I’d remove both. Dias looks good on WC pick. Not sure what you’ve seen from Chelsea to want double defence either so I’d change Sanchez. Luton at home next and some good fixtures might breed some good form though I guess.

Removing Saka ahead of Fulham (H) with their awful xGC is a really dodgy take. I would hate to go Arsenal-less attack into FUL/MAN/EVE/TOT. If anything these first two have potentially been trickier than those offensively.

Rashford you can argue, given the upcoming fixtures.

I can understand triple City attack vs. SHU for a quick potential boost but can see you shopping one of Foden/Alvarez soon.

Mbeumo just looks like one of those players you need to get onboard with - a bit like Mahrez in that Leicester season. Nailed, playing full games, on pens, good attacking team, cheap, lots of price rises to come (only 16% owned atm, so not inconceivable he’ll be a 8m player towards season end!)

    Nick Jackson of Chelsea....

Not a footballer. He looks like a sprinter and athlete that Chelsea hopes they can turn into a player. He is getting chances and can't score and does not look like he knows how. This is smelling like a Timo or Kai situation.

Someone prove me wrong? Pulisc or Mount as Center Forwards would already be on 2 goals

I own him on my team, I watched the game. I got bigger problems than Jackson, so I am keeping for now. Happy to eat my words.

That said, Chelsea looks like a collection of high-cost, but clearly mid-tier talent.

It's like watching Alex Iwobis, Bertrand Traores, Sanchos, and Anthony Martials on one team, they look good walking onto the field but they are not good players.

Sterling is the only real player in the Chelsea front group.

My original team v Wildcard 'damage' is 9 points not as bad as initially thought. As I definitely would have done Foden out Diaby in. Plus I would have started Saliba over Gabriel in my original team.

My wildcard team got 33 all out.
My original team with Haaland captained would and factoring in that transfer would have been 42 points.
But still it feels awful. Way below the average, and I spent all week planning that wildcard as well!

Hopefully I will make some gains back gw3. It is basically my historical big team biases for Chelsea and not rating Brentford/Brighton highly enough that cost me.

          Could make sense
Gabriel is too good to just sit on a bench all season

Artetas formation is not working. If Gabriel is benched next, he will leave for Real Madrid or Saudi Arabia.

If Pedro is nailed it's 50/50 but he isn't at least for now
