Out of those 3 Mitoma has the most downside over the next few weeks but then Maddison I would say is prob gonna score about the same as Mitoma over next few weeks

Mitoma. Fixture congestion and difficulty ahead. He thrives when he plays with a similar system. Constant rotations don’t help him. My two cents!

Just to get a few more opinions before I pull the trigger, narrowed it down to the following options.

    Which to go for?

    A. Jota > Maddison

    B. Jota + Jackson > Son + Alvarez

    C. One of the above options taking out Diaz

    D. Roll FT

upside to diaby is having archer on bench and not a 4.4 mid with no attacking hopes.

Lean B, Brighton’s attacking mentality feels like the kind of set-up where Rash could do well in and then has the team Son hauled against (Burnley) the following week when Son has Arsenal away - a good chart: https://imgur.com/a/MZFOIGD

Also feels like Rashford has higher xMins vs. Richarlison will be coming on at some point. Son’s a good option of course, but I’d rather sell someone else ideally.

I need to bring in a goalie for Steele.
Ive got 2 FT this week and money doesnt matter with 3.6ITB.

    Other goalie is Turner.
I am not team capped with anyone.
    Defenders are
    Saliba, Estupinian, Chilwell, Torres, Gvardiol.

Who is you favorite goalie to bring in?

    Thank you!

Must admit, part of my reasoning for pulling the WC trigger as soon as GW4 was underway was to immunise myself against all the injuries and price changes anticipated. That part of the plan has backfired somewhat.

I personally didn't see any big rises to happen to players I don't own barring Son whom I transferred in very early. Therefore I had no problem to save my WC. There were also a lot of other reasons like overall gk situation, MU having issues and future fixture turns.

Don't late wildcards reduce the number of risers?
But there could be second rises tonight for players who only rose once during the week.

I’d thought WC transfers were factored in, i.e. affected prices, when the new week kicked off. Only a guess at what’s inside the black box though

Transfers that were not known to be on wildcards would have counted towards price rise expectations.
After the deadline, when some of them turn out to have been on wildcards, their chances of price rises should be reduced.
However, many transfers will be made this morning before the deadline, and these may lead to additional price rises.
Also, players who have had a price rise during the week will have their price rise thresholds reduced after the deadline and so may rise again tonight.

The threshold for second rise in a gameweek is higher (double?) than the first rise, so is expect a lot to go up tonight after we’ve started a new gameweek.

That simply can't be true. If that was the case, highly owned players would simply stop rising after reaching critical "ownership mass".

yeah, Gabriel and Arsenal is still uncertain but Everton do okay against them and Estu is in for attacking threat.

only hesitation with Estu is he's flown back too and then travelled up to Manchester for tomorrow, Gabriel plays on Sunday. Which helps a bit.

Also have Henry on the bench.

For anyone captaining Son over Haaland:

Haaland scored 3 goals vs West Ham last season, including 2 away.

    Good luck!

Son has 2 goals against Sheffield United in 4 Premier League games and 3 assists.

Presumably with Kane down the middle.

      But yeah, hopefully Son blanks(!)

Other defenders are Cash (CRY), Saliba (eve) and Chilwell (bou)

          fair enough.

I'm playing Gusto ahead of Gabriel but you may as well cast the defensive net wide for any clean sheets.

then again Gusto is also good for attacking points and more likely to play beyond 60 mins. than Chilwell.

Gusto should be 1. If possible in first 11

Agree the Bournemouth fixture should be the best to target; my initial bench order is based on both points earned and price, which are aligned atm. But it looks wrong.

Squad looks like that often when you don't own Salah.
