When Salah is back, do we think Jota keeps his spot?

It will be Salah plus any two of Jota Diaz Nunez Gakpo - expect plenty of rotation

    Which move this week:

    a) Alvarez > Haaland
    b) replace Lascelles or Taylor (not sure with who!)
    c) roll it

    Dubravka, Areola
    Estu, Gabriel, Porro, Lascelles, Taylor
    KBD, Foden,Saka,Richy,Palmer
    Alvarez, Watkins, Solanke

Ha - we have identical teams except I've got Zinchenko instead of Gabriel.

Same questions! I'm tempted by a but could be worth sorting the bench defenders out instead

Did you play Solanke this week? I benched him for Palmer having done the opposite for Palmer's haul against Luton 🙁

Leno for me. Palace seem better as long as Eze is fit with him and Olise. Burnley struggling and Fulham defence has been better then Brighton this season.

I think the issue is that Bradley is proving an able deputy, so there is no reason for 'pool to rush Trent back from his injury.

I don't think they'll keep Trent benched, he is too important

I'm really reluctant to move for Haaland just yet (I have Alvarez), but KDB for Foden seems appealing.

    Thoughts?

I think, just like it was pre-GW22 deadline, the move is to do Alvarez to Haaland. The question is when.

Like you, I'm tempted to hold it a week for more info and assess after Brentford. May well do KDB in (for Saka or Foden) or may just tweak elsewhere and roll a transfer

Thanks Bigsy. Would be just like me to roll a transfer when I shouldn't. For context, this is my team at the moment:

        Dubravka (Raya)
        Porro Estu Myko
        Richy Foden Jota Palmer Gordon
        Alvarez Watkins

If you have 1FT i'd certainly consider rolling - gives you a bit more to decide which City man makes way

@Biggsy - yeah.... but it hurts having 14.6m just sitting in the bank! I think I'm bringing KDB in. I'm going to do it anyway, I know it. I may as well do it now.

I want everyone, but I can't have them.

KDB + Haaland + Salah would be ideal. I have nearly 15m in the bank, so it's possible.

I think this article makes sense on why Salah probably isn't a rush to get back. Liverpool have a lot of games and important ones - Salah likely not to be rushed back especially in league games they can win without him.

But yes, absolutely possible to fit all three. Whether it compromises elsewhere is another question

@Biggsy you were right after all. Double crap week for me, losing out on 37 points this week with transferring Foden out for KDB and leaving Cunha on the bench. But what else was I going to do?

I think A is probably a good enabler - Brighton have good fixtures and they won't suck like they did at Luton every week so it really depends what the rest of the team looks like. B is not undroppable from your FPL side.

    Areola, Pickford
    Gabriel, TAA, Porro, Gusto, Pau*
    Foden, Saka, Palmer, Garnacho, Bowen
    Watkins, Solanke, Alvarez

    2FT and £8.8m ITB

Issues about forwards aside, that defence feels a bit shaky and three of them also blank in 25 (so need to spend a transfer just to have a back three).

Maybe time to downgrade Trent (Estu or even Van Hecke probably) with 1FT?

I think it has to be A as the medium term target - Salah not really going to be an option until a bit later as this article suggests and with the double you've probably got to go big.

Or, just go all three and be assured you're probably assured that at least two play every game...

Possibly no Eze or Olise to face Brighton. Time for Estu to make up for midweek methinks.

Sounded like Olise probably is okay.

Olise is fine. The physios told Roy no more than 60 minutes per game for the first two or three games. He went down to be subbed after scoring his goal.

Eze said he was fine. Roy is being coy. Either with Brighton or with Eze himself. We don't know what.

      Olise will play 60 again

BTW. He went of at 67 as the sheff utd keeper was concussed so play was held up 6 to 7 mins. As soon as Eze went off it looked a boring championship game of cancelling each other out as there were no linger any decent attacking options on the pitch

The physios told Roy that last time and he ignored it. Re Olise. So he is trying to save his job until retirement and leave at the end ifvthe season but is being forced this time to listen to the team

Postecoglou on Spurs' transfer window: "The only disappointing one for us was that I felt there was a good opportunity for us, but the club didn't feel it was right and he ended up going elsewhere. He went to Ferrari instead.....I got you all going there didn't I?"
