I think what Hotdogs said is much better, and if you get Walker as the doubling defender, you then have 10 playing in GW26 (presuming Estupinan plays) and a FT to get a full 11 out. You never know, even Lascelles might show up...

Gvardiol as good as Aké. But personally like Aké more.

Are you using FH in 26? Otherwise you're in trouble, especially if any of your City players get rested/rotated that week.
Agree with this. 2FT and 6 blankers going into 26. - 4/-8 2GWs after WC doesn't seem ideal

I can't decide which defender to lose, Lamptey isn't an option due to price
It's possible Bradley will come back in for one the DGW fixtures, more likely the second one which is close to the cup final the following weekend.
I'd personally prioritise VVD over TAA and save the 2m.
Solanke has a fixture in the blank followed by Sheffield United, so he's a keeper for me.

I’m currently on Haaland Alvarez and Foden + Jota and TAA.
Not sure whether I just bring in Diaz/Gomez or also switch Alvarez to Darwin and get Walker/Gvardiol in.
I am on a WC. My backline is Gomez, Estupinan, Doughty, Gusto and Brathwaite. I have Palmer too so I do not want Gusto because of the BGW but I have no money in the bank and I cannot think of another decent option at the same price. I can find the money by selling Estupinan and buying Ait Nouri. Unsure who I would upgrade Gusto to and also Estupinan has great fixtured for the next 5. Any advice?

I actually considered him but given that Brighton are a defensive mess (not the only club this season), I am only with Estupinan because of his attacking threat.I considered Lamptey too as his minutes have gone up each week for the last three so I wonder if he will become a new starter. 3.9 and more attacking. As I said, the other option is sell Estupinan and upgrade Gusto. Tough call.
Oof to be frank with you I really don't like that defence at all. Sure about Estupiñan after the last couple weeks? Doughty/Branth is fine but if attacking DGW on WC I wouldn't be carrying Gusto. Gomez might get one start but with Robbo & Tsimi back he looks a poor option longer-term
All defensive options are shite this year so I have gone cheap. My attackers are very good because of the money I have saved (Son, Salah, KDB, Haaland). I am concerned about Gomez too but he has Burnley at home this week and I cannot see Tsimikas being back for next weekend. Estupinan is there only because of the sweet set of fixtures. I do not think he will be benched going forwards and think he was only benched as punishment for the previous week.
Understandable strategy but I think I would just be looking to tweak it slightly / squeeze out just a little more money for defence.
How about Moreno & Ait Nouri/Dawson (in place of Gomez & Estupinan)? Both have good fixtures to cover 26 & cover each other's tougher fixtures quite neatly going forward
Look perhaps at a N'castle and Wolves defence rotation. Thank me later 🙂

Bournemouth have good fixtures after next two until the end of the season and a double gameweek. Want to keep Gomez until he inevitably loses his place or GW26 whichever comes first.
