      B

Can’t see a West Ham clean sheet. Palmer main chance of points a penalty but very tough fixture. Don’t think a Man Utd clean sheet either. Branthwaite might get a clean sheet but overall think TC better .

Looking like TAA dropping tonight guys. Its a frustrating move to have to make so to make it worth while makes sense to plan for Salah and/or Son's return to my team, so its between:

    a) Maguire
    b) Van Hecke
    c) one of the cheap Liverpool defenders (Bradlley if fit)

Which one? Leaning towards swallowing some humble pie and bringing Harry back in (having just sold him in gw23)

I’d agree A. He’s had a good season has some good fixtures. De Zebri likes his rotation and Bradley has BGW

      C

Bradley is fit and with an upcoming wildcard he's a useful punt even with a gw26 blank...

If Trent were to miss say 4 league games it gives him a great opportunity.

Cheers. He’s tempting and you make a good point re WC (which I am looking at playing gw29 or 30 so an opportunity to fix then). Liking Man U fixtures though and I think over the round of games Maguire can more than return any points that Bradley may deliver this gw.

A for me. Bradley is tempting, but with Tsimikas and Robbo back, he's in no way nailed to start every week. Gomez can easily play there as well.

Triple captain versus bench boost dilemma.

I feel a big urge to bench boost since money is spread now with the absence of Salah. But i’m fearing TC Haaland in this DGW.

    Current team:
    Dubravka (Areola)
    Gabriel Porro Lamptey (Estupinan, Burn)
    KDB, Foden, Saka, Richarlison (Palmer)
    Haaland (c), Watkins, Darwin.

1 FT and 1.4 in bank
Would you roll and TC haaland
or take a hit and go bench boost with for example estu+palmer to saliba+gross or porro+palmer to maguire+jota?

    1. Bucket Man

To the averse - live a little hits do pay and more so in DGWs and blanks.

A chap called Effluent Bill managed to spend just 39p in a whole term (intriguing thing is what did he spend it on?).

Agree with you on hits. In DGWs/blanks effectively they cost just 2pts. We are entering a phase of Greatest Hits.

Have always been very conservative when it comes to taking hits. Took a -12 over the space of 4 GWs in December and it has absolutely paid off in spades and rescued what was a disastrous 1st half if the season.

Are hits a sign of too much ego?

I keep hearing about people taking players out only to plan on bring them back again in a few weeks: For example: Solanke, Palmer, Porro. That's two transfers and then they talk of taking hits.

I haven't taken a hit all season and I feel like people are taking them without needing to and it is an inflated belief in their ability to pick players that can get it back and more. What do you think?

    1. The Mentaculus

Arsenal look like a set piece machine since the winter break. Gabriel has a great fixture this gw and decent fixtures going forward. Cheaper than VVD so I think GW 25 and 26 combined scores better than vvd and also up to gw 29.

It's a bit of switch and you're gambling on hitting the right striker points in the right weeks, rather than giving them time.

Do you lose much in accumulated value?

I'm holding Solanke till gw28, many have 0.3m built up and it becomes that much harder to bring them back in.

    Martinez
    *Bradley *Gabriel Moreno
    *KDB Foden Jota Saka
    Haaland Watkins Solanke

    Turner Palmer Sensei Gusto
    £0.7m itb.

A bit punty at the back and I may start Palmer over Solanke.

How does it look? Am I getting carried away and being a bit short sighted?

Looks good and allows you to use 1FT next week to get an 11.

Like those moves. Would stick with Solanke

Looks good although think Bradley will only get 1 game in double and rested v Luton got cup final whereas Walker probably starts both. But it does get you KDB and a solid defender

      Trippier I think. Tough choice

I'm going Gab with better cs odds and similar attacking potential. It's close though - wish I could play both

    Which one?

    a) Palmer & Porro > Jota & Ake
    b) Bowen & Lascelles > KDB & Van Hecke
    c) Bowen & Lascelles > KDB & Dalot/5.7m
