Man City has a Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday turnaround,
    not Sat-Wed-Sat.

Does a BB cover Haaland's TC Vs C?

Two goals in each + 3 bonus points is 26 extra points. Reckon that's doable with 4 doublers?

    Flekken - Barkley - Doughty - Adebayo

Yeah that bench covers it I reckon.

Arguably you've set yourself up for it so do it. All it takes is one upset in one game and you could be laughing

Yeah - mind you the plan so far has been devastating with the WC so might as well not bottle it now.

If, and I say this kindly as I'm too often guilty of it myself, you are being honest with yourself that they're your 'worst' players of the GW.

If they really are your bench players, it's a fine BB 🙂

Haha. I get you sir. The squad is:

        Flekken | Pickford
TAA | Trippier | Gabriel | Doughty | Van Hecke
        KDB | Jota | Foden | Richarlison | Barkley
        Haaland | Darwin | Adebayo

Out of curiosity, if you think Haaland hits 25pts+ is there a reason why you wouldn't just TC him instead?

Want to get rid of the BB so I can focus on a smaller squad, or least I'm telling myself.

Not the right comparison to be making, it's BB25 vs BB in another GW.

      should do

another way id look at it is even if haaland outscores the BB, that BB will likely be your highest scoring bench for the season, so still would be a net gain if later on in the season you use the TC and get 4-6 less points than Haaland this GW or whatever

      My only counter to this would be;

If Haaland gets 2 vs Flekken he's getting at least one point that game, maybe two IF he makes three saves (assuming MCI don't score more than 3). I assume LIV will also put at least 2 past him so that's another 1 pointer.

So for me it's do your 3 x LUT players get 24 points between them. Which is an average of four points per game per player, as LUT, vs MUN & LIV.

To be generous I'll give you 5 points total for Flekken (mass save points both games and one bonus) so 21 points between your three players = 7 each across two games.

      So;
      Barkley 4 for playing 90x2 = needs one assist/goal
      Adebayo 4 for playing 90x2 = needs one assist/goal
Doughty 3 for playing 90x2 (reckon he concedes twice to LIV) = needs one assist if one of the above scores instead of assisting

Think that's some rough scratch work for you.

So what are the odds of Barkley and Adebayo both scoring or assist (one each) with Doughty getting an assist and them only conceding two goals in one of the games (with zero cards issued).

You broke it down really well to be honest. I think minus any silly yellows 16 is probably the base line the bench is working from, anything above that would be a bonus.

Bradley is the pick out of them. Not nailed, but cheap (4.1) and attacking. 14.5 points per match is perhaps not sustainable, but I don't care. Even 70% of that is enough for me 🙂

Who to sell for Jota for a hit? Palmer or Garnacho?

Keeping Garnacho would give me 10 players for GW26 and will only need 1 FT to get 11 by selling jota. Palmer would cost me 0.3m to bring back after the blank and will need a hit to get 11 for GW26

Same decision. Going Palmer. I don't think I'll regret it until Chelsea's run improves around GW30 by which time it'll probably be WC season. If I get rid of Garnacho it just spreads funds around making moves for players like Salah and Son harder in coming weeks

I bought Palmer at 4.9 and Garnacho at 4.8. I don't think I can afford to sell Palmer, (but don't like selling Garnacho either tbh).

I don't have quite the price swing and I expect Palmer to drop a few times. I think you can get too hung up on they money side of things - you might save £0.5m but if it's benched for 5 weeks then that value isn't scoring points

Kelleher (bench fodder but may as well£
    Trippier Doughty Zinny (flag)
    KDB Foden Saka Barkley Foden
    Haaland (c) Watkins Toney

    Martinez Palmer Estu Lampney

In theory this gives me 11 in the blank

    A) do nothing and hide behind the sofa for Liverpool games
    B) Saka > Jota FT
    C) Zinny > Bradley FT
    D) B and C for a hit

    Many thanks

    A - Odegaard (burnley a, newcastle h)
    or
    B - Foden (chelsea h, brentford h, bou a) and a -4

which scores more? basically is odegaard to foden worth a hit this GW. Long term Foden could stay but likely won't (would be the son/kdb midfield slot)

It's got to be Palmer really with the immediate fixtures, although long term I'd rather keep Palmer. You can always get him back in for Gordon, although it will be painful to lose that cash.

    Can't decide on this: 2FT
    A) Trent and Palma to Saka and Konate/Bradley
    B) Trent and Palma to Konate/Bradley and Jota
    C) Trent and Palma to Virgil and Diaz

With A I'll only need a -4 next week to get 11 out. Ill have 5 doublers this week.
    With B and C I'll need a -8 but I'll have 6 doublers this week.

Doubles are KDB, Foden, Haaland, Darwin and Trent at present.
    Thanks.

Tough. I don't like Liverpool defence with any of those options personally - probably B marginally as I think Jota outscores Saka by 4

Guess I could move Trent to a solid gw26 defender and get Jota for Palmer then. Would probably rather have an attacking asset than a defender anyway

Well covered for the double already, I’d be planning ahead for the blank if I were you

I could just get van dicky for Trent and roll a free. Then I have 5 doublers and need a -4 next week to get 11 out. Just have fomo over Saka and or Jota.

    A) Jota
    B) Darwin

Most saying Jota but Darwin surely likely to get more mins and gets SO many chances?

I don't really see the case for spending extra on B

Would you say Gabriel is nailed?

gabriel, arteta would be a bit naive i think resting him for kiwor at this point in the season when every match is so important and gabriel has been playing at a super high level

A, cheaper, bigger goal threat and averaged more PPG since he came back into the side earlier in the side

Can't see Liverpool or city keeping a clean sheet in either game tbh- Toney will score in each game and can see both chavski and Luton netting too
