Saka - Brighton aren't horrible even if he plays. Unbeaten at home in all comps since Sept last year.

Is it worth buying Gordon on a WC as an 8th attacker if I'm only likely to play him in 36 & BB37

Who would get his spot if you don't?
A good option off the bench when European fixtures start squeezing squads.

My other options are Johnson and Garnacho.

I'd play Johnson, 32 & 35 so would be more useful and then I'd then have an option to move later down the line.

Tough doubles in 35 for Brennan but yea, it's down to Gordon V BHA/mun in 37 or Brennan v che + MCI in 35.

          I'd go Gordon.

    What to do below?

    Leno
    Zarbanyi Gabriel Gusto
    Salah Saka Foden Palmer (C)
    Haaland Solanke Darwin

    Aerola* Doughty Kabore Hwang*

    A) Leno to Raya
    B) Leno to Pickford
    C) Doughty to Saliba
    D) Roll this week

By choosing B I would likely bring in Odegaard/Havertz for the double. Thoughts

of course nothing is ever straight forward but looking at sheffield home form and some of the trashings they suffer this season, combined with palmer's form, he is a such a good pick for captaincy this gw.

    Petrovic - Ederson
    Porro - Gusto - Burn - V.Hecke - RAN
    Salah - Son - Foden - Palmer - Johnson
    Haaland - Isak -Hojlund

33: Use it or lose it transfer - RAN > any defender up to 5.2, Dunk or Dalot.
    34: FH
35: 6 doublers, tough benching but easy roll.
36: 2 FT to fix any issues. Salah to Bruno if nothing.
37: V.Hecke to Trippier, if nothing. Money in the bank for Salah.
    38: Bruno to Salah

i was wondering if it was possible to WC for 34 players and FH 37 instead. Just thinking Spurs, Chelsea, Man Utd etc aren't as good as Liverpool and Arsenal so wouldn't I rather have those players in the interim despite fixtures being less enticing.

      1. Bob B
        • 12 Years
        2 years, 4 days ago

Oh I personally wouldn't do that now given the 35 DGW, makes it a lot harder to gain players for that double but I assume most will not want them. FH34 would mean you can optimise all the double gameweeks.

It looks pretty close to WC35 drafts I've done (identical front 7) Seems like you are committing to 3x spurs for the rest of the season as a direct result of FH34 and their DGW35. Not sure about that call. Not many game weeks left for long term thinking to pay off

I’ve got myself a small problem. I have 4 or maybe 5 (if I want to take a -4) transfers I need to make before 34. However I have two FT this week and if I don’t use one I’ll need another -4.
As I only have 0.1 in the bank and all the players including Lascelles I want to change out are upgrades the only transfer open to me this week is Son - Foden!
Do I take him out at home to Forrest!? I guess I have to?
