Good evening everyone. What do we think of my Haaland and Salah draft:

    Sanchez/henderson
    Virgil/gvardiol/burn/myolenko/bellis
    Salah/nkunku/eze/elanga/rogers
    Haaland/isak/muniz

Feels very balanced but what do you guys think??

    1. Ser Davos
      • 11 Years
      2 years, 1 month ago

      very solid

Only critique is I think Sanchez is an odd pick. Never emerges as a 4.5 option despite nearly every season having the opportunity to do so, hence my question on the last page

My draft is similar. I have a 4.0 keeper, Gabriel, Konsa, Gordon, Szoboszlai, Winks and Pedro rather than Henderson, Virgil, Mykolenko, Eze, Elanga, Rogers and Muniz

If you don’t want Pedro, I think Wood is best at 6m. Wouldn’t have Elanga, not nailed

I'm not great in recent years at FPL

one thing I would v confidently say that constantly plays out is that auxiliary mids that become classified as forwards don't prosper. The only exceptions are short term (Antonio 21-22 start) but over the course of a season, the re-classification kills the now FWD

Havertz as an 8m mid would be gold

    Raya

    Myko - Anderson - Gavardiol - Burn

    Palmer - Eze - Jota

    Watkins - Haaland - Isak

    Bench;
    4.0Gk - Rodgers - 4.5 mid - Barco

Keep an eye on jota, great pick if he starts. Could easily be gakpo Nunez Salah

There could be a case for downgrading Jota to Sabozli. I like you have Raya in goal he is also my way into the Arsenal defence at the moment.

Cheers for the positive response. I get what your saying and take it on board.. Love to have them all but its impossible to get a balance, I had a Salah and Haaland team of which many picked apart.
I feel this is more balanced with two 4.0 playing defenders and a 4.5 mid in Winks, my way to Haaland I'd to downgrade Foden upgrade Watkins if wanted.

Son is potentially going under the radar, but I’m not starting without Foden and Palmer. I’ve always started seasons with Son and trying to get there this year too, but proving difficult. Would mean sacrificing Havertz for Muniz/Wood and no Gordon.

Yes they paid him a salary those 12 months in order to get a transfer fee. For him to walk out on a free after and leave the club in an even worse position than before his ban would be pretty disloyal

Are you thinking that the club didn't show him any loyalty and he's well in his rights to bugger on for maximum paycheck? Not a Brentford fan but that's pretty cold

    - Never lost a game that he won

Not seen much Brentford defence in drafts. Think they could be more solid this season with Henry and Hickey returning to fitness. Home fixtures decent CRY SOU WHU in 1,3 6. Could see two cleans in there as part of a rotation.

Flekken and Ben Mee good nailed options at 4.5 despite relative unpopularity?

I'm not entirely sure Mee is as nailed as you think. Pinnock & Collins could easily start in a back 4. Flekken has one of the worst save % in the PL at just 65%. The past is no guide to the future though, you could well be right.
