Zubimendi signs, no contest TAA for me. right now still TAA tbh, trusted asset that has had massive attacking threat for multiple seasons. not sure if Gvardiol's marauding runs down the left will be a continuous theme this season

I've considered both but am probably going with Porro and Munoz - similar attacking threat and much cheaper

    Keep coming back to this:

    Pope (4.0)
    Qansah, Gvardiol, Andersen (Robinson, HBellis)
    Salah, Jota, Eze, Bobb (4.5)
    Haaland, Solanke, Isak

Could downgrade Pope and upgrade Bobb to ESR if he starts getting rotated, but happy for now

they were really poor 22-23 tbh. Trippier/Pope Saliba Cancelo and the latter two fell off a cliff

Raya and Mee were behemoths that season

the 5atb TAA/Robbo/James/Chilwell was an epic failure

only for goal celebrations unless i missed something

honestly all for 10mins added time at end of games, watching the Euros and seeing the ball in play for 3 minutes or so from 80 onwards including added time was rubbish, just rewards time wasting way too much

Suarez's price had he stayed at Liverpool in 2014 we reckon? Random question I know

RVP in 2013 was 14.0 with Bale at 12.0 and then Bale left and RVP didn't feature much beyond that point

Personally not a fan of rotating keepers. Always end up with more points on the bench so it's just a headache I prefer not to have. That extra 0.5 could be used elsewhere

Locked in. Risky defence, but can assess for GW4:

    Raya
    Quansah - Livramento - Hall
    Salah - Saka - Son - Jota
    Isak - Havertz - Solanke
    (Lis - Barco - Davis - Sangaré)

    1. LoneWolf1989

Front 7 looks strong but that defence could be a nightmare. If Newcastle sign Guehi the expectancy is that Burn will shift to LB. So Trippier, Schar, Guehi, Burn and then you're potentially left with two non playing (or reduced minutes) defenders

Not a fan of spending 5.5 on a GK. Get the right cheapie - plenty of save points.

        1. Pumpkinhead
          • 11 Years
          1 year, 3 months ago

Normally I would agree but with many teams having two capable 4.5 it's tough to make the right selection. I think this year I'll go Raya and hold or easy downgrade if the #1 job is secured by one of Chelsea, Forrest, etc...

    2. Chris_l25
      • 8 Years
      1 year, 3 months ago

The Raya pick feels like it has a higher base. Might not get the monster hauls that some other cheaper keepers will get with save points etc but will probably tick along consistently over the season

Fitting in steam with both salah and Haaland is hard

    Onana
    Trent, Gvardiol, Mykolenko
    Salah, Eze, Rogers, Minteh
    Haaland, Isla, Solanke

    Brenda, Barco, Harwood-Bellis, Sangare

Happy to take a punt on Onana - think he’ll get the chance to make saves and keep a clean sheet so could be GW1 highest scorer. A punt I’m will to take.

Lack or Arsenal worries me but want to wait until gw12 for them to come in.

My struggle now is picking the right bench players

What would you guys think about a
    ‘Lock and Load’ chip?

The idea is that you have a GW1 deadline 1 week before and if you ‘Lock and Load’ your squad, you get a 10 pt head start.

If you make any transfers in the run up to GW1 however, you forfeit the 10 pt start.

Probably not viable, but would make things interesting…

Yarmo or Winks? I know both are bad picks but I need a 4.5

The amount of tinkering I've beed doing would make Pep blush, but I may be on a road to being sacked by the first international break.

No Salah, no Haaland, no problem?

    Pickford, 4.0
    TAA, PedroP, Dalot, Hall, Barco
Saka, Son (0.5 in the bank for Palmer upgrade when he returns), Bruno, Minteh, BBD
    Watkins, Isak, Solanke

Looks good also have no Salah and Haaland atm but went Havertz over Watkins just feels safer for GW1 and can use that extra 1mil to upgrade somewhere

Best RMT introduction of the campaign. Cash for Palmer looks shrewd. Why Dalot though?

First attempt and rather template by the looks of it - any real concerns? ESR will cover any potential Bobb issues and am comfortable going Salahless:

    Henderson (Fabianski)
    Gvardiol, Saliba, Porro (Barco, Harwood-Ellis)
    Son, Jota, Eze, Bobb (ESR)

    Thanks
    Haaland, Isak, Solanke

This reads like a comment Haaland, Isak and Solanke co-authored
