      Hopefully won't be needed but i've just moved Flappyhandski to Matthews (CRY) on the hope that Johnstone gets sold (apparently been sanctioned) so I have a playing keeper if Henderson gets injured etc.

      Team looks very strong. No Haaland clearly but that's a powerful front 7

    I feel like its very easy to pick a good squad for GW1 and onwards. Anyone else agree?

    I am not great at fantasy if I am honest as I normally get bored and give up. But I always had very strong starts. Last five or 6 seasons I only had one bad start. Last season I got a GW1 rank of 7k.

    Main reason I do well at the start IMO is because I normally pack my team out with cheap players who have the potential to do well, this means a strong bench. I might get one or two wrong, but I will get most of them right. And the ones I get wrong, can sit on the bench until I move them out.

    Not sure what I will get this season, but hoping for top 100k GW1. If I get a miserable score, well I deserve it lol ^^

        I don't think there are many CS to be had at the start of the season, so don't like investing too much and just focus on attacking defenders only.

        Munoz - Porro - Leif - Robinson - Quansah for me

        All love attacking. Quansah not so much, but 4.5 for a Pool defender with the best fixtures. I would be a fool to ignore him.

        GW3 I will play Leif - Robinson and the third is up for debate.

          Quansah is very short term though and I’m not looking at this trend of the early WC in gw4 or gw6 like the cool kids are.

    Any obvious mistakes or strange picks on this BB GW1 squad?
    I have a hard time going for Quansah & Solanke. I do not have the same faith as most others regarding Solanke starting. He still need to get to know his new mates and the system. Kulusevski has done well in preseason, and could very well lead the line monday. Quansah seems safer, but still a little too risky for me on BB.

        I don’t do rotation, frustrates me as often on the past the goalie on the bench (with tougher fixture) scored better than the one I’ve started.

        With above two duos the good thing is that should nr1 get injured his back up comes in and I don’t have to worry about transfer.

    Making the assumption that Salah is close enough to Haaland until GW7 and that Saka/Palmer are more or less interchangeable parts (so Saka and 0.5 a better option than Palmer to start)

    Salah/Saka/Bruno/Eze/BBD
    Isak/Solanke/Muniz

    Figure that BBD is a better rotation partner to Muniz than ESR would be. Keeping Minteh fresh in my mind as well. Feeling good about choosing three defenders from four strong teams every week, and THB ought to be playing regularly enough that he's a good emergency option. As a City supporter for the last 20 years, having Bruno on the team makes me throw up in my mouth just a little bit, but my fantasy lizard brain sees him as a great choice at 8.5 . . . United can't be terrible forever, can they?

          The 2 ARS is clearly best of those long-term. I think it’s a mistake to think in terms if 2 or 3 CS in the short term. Just put them in, leave them alone and reap the rewards
