    Confused about what to do:

    Henderson, 4.0
    Gvardiol, Konsa, Robinson, Faes, Barco
    Saka, Jota, Eze, Bruno, Winks
    Haaland, Isak, Solanke

    I'd like to move on from Henderson, Barco, Bruno, and perhaps Isak.

    Am pondering Bruno + Isak for Palmer + cheaper forward. Maybe Cunha or Pedro.

    Also gave some thought to Isak for Havertz, but would prefer to do that GW6.

    A - Bruno + Isak --> Palmer + cheaper forward
    B - Wildcard
    C - Isak --> Havertz
    D - Something else

      I probably wouldn't. Would move out Nkunku and Hall for ESR and Konsa, perhaps. Then could upgrade Hendo to Raya in a week.

      Rogers is much more attacking mid than defensive Onana who generally has greater danger for yc/rc.

    All set to make the following moves for a -4

    Nkunku -> Palmer
    Isak -> Pedro

    I have 0.5 extra after these moves, so I could wait till deadline. However, with Palmer and Pedro both rising and Nkunku both likely to fall, it could be a -0.4 swing by then if you wait. Without any midweek games, chances of injury are not likely but also not impossible.

    A) Wait till deadline, eat the price changes
    B) Do it now, and pray no injuries
    C) Those moves suck

          Hmm, interesting, I suppose a lot might depend on the next week with that RB they’ve been linked with and Carlos linked with a move away. I just can’t imagine Villa going into the season with an unproven 18 year old as first choice RB for a couple of months - seems premature to say he’s nailed at least until the transfer window is closed, no?

      He has. But I would probably still ditch for someone who has actually returned. You might get hit with a price drop too at some point if you keep.

      This happened with Eze last season too, everyone had him. For the first 8 weeks or something he was registering great stats but returned nothing.

    Going to do this sensibly.

    I want palmer and Watkins but going to use my 2 FTs to do Bruno Fernandes and Jacob Murphy to ESR and Rogers. Will have 3.5m itb.

    To get palmer, it would likely be for saka who hits harder fixtures AFTER next week and so isn't worth a -4 this week IMO.

    To get Watkins, it's a -4 from isak or wood who I could both give another week to see what happens. Watkins with reduced mins currently would likely need at least a brace to make up the -4.

    By the week after, injuries could happen, jota could lose his starting place etc. So I can reassess those 2 potential moves to bring in palmer and Watkins then. Leaves me with for gw3:

    Raya
    TAA porro Johnson
    Rogers saka ESR jota
    Haaland (c) isak Wood

    GTG as it stands?

    Might be a stupid question but can anyone else see Watkins being dropped for next week?

    Only lasted an hour first 2 games. Stinker against Arsenal single-handedly cost Villa the game. Duran the more in-form player + probably too good of a player to be happy sitting on the bench.
