Really close to wildcarding this lot, no FT, 3.0m in the bank

    Henderson
    Aina, Gvardiol, Robinson
    Rogers, Salah, Eze, ESR
    Isak, Haaland, Muniz

    Subs: 4.0, Porro, Winks, Faes

If Fulham lose 1-0 and Forest concede, I’m on a huge red arrow. Those things aren’t inconceivable

why, i didn't seem to have any 'main' assets last week but still got a green with ESR returning etc. Its early days and wish i have Salah and Rogers in my team already! Eze will return soon to i think

It’s the triple Fulham, Henderson and Aina which looks really poor this week

Maybe you’re right 🙂 yes I think Eze will do well soon

Absolutely set on this WC, but keen to hear any other thoughts? Any changes? I know there's no Salah but think it's covered elsewhere..

    Raya
    Taa - Robinson - Konsa
    Palmer (c) - ESR - Saka - Jota - Rogers
    Haaland - Wissa

    4.0 - Joao Pedro - Porro - Johnson

I can afford it yeah, bang on exact funds for it. I Made the moves early in the week for a lot of the players that had gone up, such as Robinson, ESR, Rogers etc.

Really nice. I'll go with Lewis and another 4.5/4.0M defender instead of your Porro and Johnson because I don't have the funds. Love the rotation between J.Pedro and Wissa too.

Looks good but alot of money will be benched each week. My preference is for cheap playing bench. You could downgrade 1 or 2 players and turn a 4.5 def into Robertson for instance (just my view)

0.3 off that myself (hate missing price falls/rises!). I'm not sold on the Fulham defence so happy to go with two 4.0 defenders. Nedeljokovic at Villa could be great to double on the Villa defence next two weeks before Porro comes back in. Pedro and Wissa rotate well. like it!
Tempted myself before i'm priced out but international break coming up isn't ideal. I also have Flekken this week whos looking good for a CS!

There isn't a right or wrong time to use it, it's team dependent

        This.
        Its indeed team dependent.
But team value might be a factor to pull the trigger. However doing it in the early gw's limits you to a smaller information base.

Just to name 1 player but Solanke has already been completely forgotten or Foden who still has to come in the team. WC templates change so much in the early stage

Things are different when you can bank up to 5FTs, don't you think? The WC is useful to deal with injuries and all, but so are FTs, and a WC also has value when played early which needs to be considered, and early FTs don't (you only have 1FT to start in GW2)

I researched and planned as much as the next casual, however it's worth repeating what I wrote before GW1:

"Anyone else feel there are more unknowns going into this season than previous seasons?

Forgive me, but aren't all sharts accidental by nature? To purposely shart, one would have to forget one's intention to follow through whilst attempting to push one out for the purpose of accidentally following through. That's almost as unlikely a possibility as saving 5 transfers.

I went for Greaves, very dull but will play 90 every week and reasonable goal threat from set pieces

Greaves I think takes no. 1 spot

      I'm debating the second

      think it will be HWB

HWB got me 2 points last week, honestly decent tbf

not sure Johnson is nailed either. Ipswich fans mentioned he wasn't, but Greaves is

What threw me was the last PS friendly. Johnson played full 90 at WB and Greaves didn't play a minute in a back 3

Would the three most nailed be Greaves Bednarek Vestergaard?

GW3 WC comes across as cult NGL

    3m itb.
    a) Gordon -> Palmer (-4)
    b) Muniz -> Watkins (-4)
    c) hold

Tricky. All 3 options look good! I think selling Gordon would make more sense than Muniz right now, so A or C, probably A, but it depends on your team and what else you might plan for that money.

    2. For Beto or Wirtz!

      (A) I just pulled Isak for Palmer & Garnacho for - 4. Last night's performance convinced me. I'm holding onto muniz

    A. Raya, TAA, Wissa
    B. Steele, Robertson, Watkins

    Steele or any 4.5 keeper

B for me. Not Steele though, as Verbruggen likely to take over from him, I believe.

Is Salah a better captaincy option than Haaland for GW 3-6?

    Salah (man, NFO, BOU, wol)
    Haaland (whu, BRE, ARS, new)
