This is why it is disappointing that with all the free time they had over the IB we still haven't got the trustworthyness article on the 20 managers we have been promised for ages now. I actually think a positive quote on Saka from Arteta makes it more likely there is an issue. Having the article would have helped with this theory.

Not quite sure what this article is you mention and what value or 'trust' it could possibly add?

We're getting quotes presented directly from Managers/Coaches. What am I missing?

        It goes roughly like this:

        Never trust Howe.
No point even listening to Arteta or Pep.
        Be wary of Cooper.
Ange will give it to you straight.
Get your catchphrase bingo card at the ready for Dyche.

Oh great, yeah, very trustworthy fact-based information - as if that's any more concrete than the quotes themselves. I'll continue to do alright without any of that, thanks.

Honestly, the things people expect to be spoon fed with these days.

😆 It was obviously a little tongue-in-cheek & I'm not particularly advocating for the article. But if after 14 years & you still expect equally concrete facts from all managers I think you haven't really been paying attention...

              I'm glad it was.

After 14 years you'd be very much mistaken if you think I'd expect concrete facts from all managers 😀

You make your own assessment and take them with a pinch of salt, whilst also validating them yourself based on what actually followed thereafter.

Not take someone's assessment to never trust a word because 3 out of 10 quotes turned out to be BS.

Neale has said on several team news videos with Jonty that he would write this article and rank the managers for telling the truth when it comes to injury news. It would actually be very helpful given how much content you dedicate to team news every week.

I think we know without the article, that Arteta speaks bs week in week out. Casting doubts on Saka's being fully fit only assures me that he plays. Same with Havertz.

        Here's how it works.

Arteta sounds positive = injury is serious.

Arteta sounds cagey = player will be fine.

If Sels is injured, what do I do?

    A) Fabianski > Kelleher
    B) Sels > Pickford
    C) Sels > Onana
    D) Fabianski > Hermansen

Really not liking any of these options much.

Definitely more doubt over Saka starting than Havertz. Havertz will almost certainly start. With Saka it's probably up to him, he will be injured but capable of playing, the player will make the decision I think.
