A 17 point swing which is difference between 100K rank and a 200k rank for me.

    Straightforward shootout:

    A) Isak + Enzo/Amad
    B) Wood + Mbeumo
    C) Raul + B Fernandez

Medium term at least. Currently leaning B myself for nailedness... but very tempted by the other options.

What’s your worst ever FPL transfer?

I’m now 32 points down (with Mbuemo still to play) on my GW14 move…

Isak & Mbeumo to Saka & Delap.

All seemed relatively obvious at the time but I got that one very wrong!

I kept Aubameyang for weeks and he kept blanking. I sold him and bought Kane

Kane blanked twice and Aubameyang got a 16 point haul against Fulham, followed by a 12 point haul against Leicester

I would’ve captained him in both games. I was a casual back then, so I actually rage quit that season and left it as a ghost team. Have been taking FPL very seriously since the season after that though

      It happens.
Have wildcarded a few truly awful teams over the years. Every player I take out gets points that week and all the popular picks I bring in blank. What makes it worse is I then go from having a slightly differential team to having the same picks as everyone else so even on good gameweeks I'm still only getting the average points of everyone around my rank.

      - Brentford away (leaking goals)

He could be looking at quite a lengthy one for what its worth, Kudus was much more than 3 games for his violent conduct. So they could end up appealing if they felt it was too harsh rather than the ban itself which could delay a ban kicking in. All ifs and buts at this stage he might not get banned at all for all we know.

Already moved on RAN to Robinson however Cunha is going to get suspended so which do you prefer:

    A) Roll and play Rogers at home to Newcastle
    B) Cunha > Wood / Duran / Raul
    C) Cunha & KDB > Isak & Bowen - 8

    Current team
    Flekken
    Gabriel / Robinson / Cucurella
    KDB / Saka / Palmer / Salah
    Jackson / Pedro / Cunha

    Fabianski / Rogers / Davis / Greaves

Okay I shipped RAN to Hall and will probably need a -4 for next GW, but I can’t understand why both of his YC counts against points in FPL but doesn’t count against the number of YC for a ban? And the one that resulted in RC sounds like it should be (but isn’t apparently) a longer than 1 match ban. Crazy.

    1. FFS ManU
      • 3 Years

A red card due to two yellows results a minimum of a one match ban, but Ait-Nouri will get banned for more matches due to how he reacted after getting the red.

    2. Sir Michael Taker
      • 11 Years
      1 year, 2 months ago

I wasn't aware of the loophole in the suspension rules but it makes sense otherwise if a player is looking at a one match ban anyway for accumulation of yellows there's no deterrent to picking up a second yellow as it carries the same punishment. Unless they just banned him for 2 games and it reset.

Good morning all. What do you make of these moves with exact funds:

    VVD > Robinson
    Mbeumo > Gordon
    Cunha > Isak

    Y/N? Or something else?

They had a terrible transfer window, I'm not sure how much of that was his doing but if you lose what was probably their best defensive defender in Kilman and then lose what was probably their 2nd best/best player in general in Neto and you don't really replace them then that's a bad starting point. The Sam Johnstone fiasco was very strange, signing him when he had an okay No1 already in Jose Sa and then him coming out of the team and the hokey kokey since between those two. Goalkeeper didn't feel like a priority position for a signing. Strand Larsen has done okay for a first season in fairness.

Who is with me in having RAN’s -2 on the pitch and Hall 15 on the bench? Brutal swing. Thought they’d both concede and the worst that could happen would be a 4-5 point variance!

Yeah and last week went Saka (C) over Palmer, a 16 point swing there, so that's 33 points down in last 2 gamweeks having got those 50/50 decisions wrong. Brutal is putting it mildly.

One of those Hall assists was very fortunate strictly by the FPL rules wasn't it? The deflected cross. There's been a lot of inconsistency around this already this season and I'd had it explained by somebody that a deflected cross didn't count as an assist in the same way as a deflected shot. Minor in the scheme of things but would be nice for some consistency.
