    Thoughts on this chip strategy:

    Dead end into 29
Wildcard 30 or 35 depending on team
    AM 31-33
    FH 34
    BB 36

    Reasons:
    1. More doubles to target in BB36
    2. Table bonus fixtures to target in 31-33 include:
    - 31: Man U vs Man C
    - 32: Man U vs New
    - 33: Spurs vs NFO + Spurs vs Ful*

It’s an aggressive strategy but it has the highest ceiling.

Brentford vs Chelsea is also an option in 31

And you could flip to go safe in 32 and 33 with Liverpool

      32: Liv vs Whu
33: Liv vs Lei + Liv vs Astv*

Hello. The article says there may be a dgw25 with Fulham v Spurs

      2. Casual Player
        • 5 Years
        10 months, 10 days ago

You won't get confirmation only a provisional DGW25 before the deadline

Assuming it's provisional, to be confirmed you would need Spurs to hold off Liverpool in the Carabao. That would also mean there is no Liverpool double in DGW33, which is the popular alternative atm.

So you're then looking at a very uncertainty TC in either DGW33/36, or punting on a SGW, all to maybe get a 5th AM fixture.

        I don't think it's worth it

Is Raya to Pickford a good use of a FT ahead of the double? Just have 1FT.

I’m weary given that Saliba is now back and Arsenal have some promising upcoming fixtures with Leicester and West Ham, but the possibility of Raya blanking in GW29 represents another positive point for Pickford. Think it’s worth a transfer?

    Raya (Fabianski)
VVD - Gabriel - Hall (Robinson, Williams)
Salah - Palmer - Mbeumo - Rogers (Enzo)
    Wood - Gakpo - Isak

    1. Holmes

If you are going to switch from TC to AM only because of a provisional DGW25, like the article suggests, first it's worth noting it's a less than 50% chance it gets confirmed (need Spurs to win, and they are underdogs even with the 1-0 lead).

So the most likely outcome is nothing changes. Which means you've done AM over TC when you've thought it's not the best option (since you were planning TC). Still sometimes you have to take a swing at the upside and strike out, but... what is the upside? If you get the 5 fixtures, when do you TC? Liverpool won't have DGW33 if the scenario plays out. So it's a very uncertain proposition around using that chip in DGW33/36 instead too.

I don't rate it as a plan tbh, but I could be missing something.

    1. Casual Player
      • 5 Years

Should say I do like the article though, because even if I've reached a different conclusion, at least it got me thinking about a different option.

    2. Pomodoro
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member
      • 9 Years

If you've played the TC it takes the decision out of your hands whether to AM now or in 33/36. 5 fixtures over 4.

    3. Odikostar
      • 10 Years
      10 months, 10 days ago

I feel the safest way to play AM is in a dgw, and on a good team with 4 good fixtures. If you end up with 3 out of 4 wins, you’ll get 25 points at the minimum.

With Slot and Moyes this week, I’m not fully confident either of them gets more than 10 points in the dgw alone.

For Salah TC, I’m very confident he gets at least one goal in one of the games. That’s likely to be at least 10 points in total, which isn’t great, but also not that bad. (7 points off Haaland’s hattrick)

The alternative for me would be to BB outside of a dgw. Could work out alright, but it’s harder to know what you end up with and what could have been. Would also be limited to 35/37/38 or 31/32/35/38

Wood and Bruno both have a good fixture in the blank, Gordon's fixtures have turned and he likely won't have a game in the blank.

      So B

B and C could do good this week but not sure you will want to have them mid term, A can be just moved this week so up to your preference if you want to save one FT - A/C
