8 players blanking in gw29, would you use free hit or just use free transfers until then to get a starting eleven?

    Pickford, Flekken
    Gabriel, Hall, Munoz, Robinson, Konsa
    Salah, Palmer, Gordon, Sarr, Amad
    Isak, Wissa, Gakpo

Get rid of Hall, Konsa, Gordon, Sarr and maybe Gakpo up to gw29?
Bring in Bou def & mid, Mbuemo maybe Cunha? Wood have a nice fixture to bring back in gw29, but also hard to plan so many gw ahead..

    1. Conners
      • 7 Years

I'd 100% FH in your case and use your transfers to better effect now (Bou mid, Rogers, etc)

      1. BusbySwede
        • 8 Years
        1 year, 1 month ago

Who else then Rogers would be better effect now? Bou mid and possibly def already is in the plans and maybe Mbuemo in gw26?
I dont love Rogers fixtures after the double, and is a double that includes Liverpool that great?
And which players do you really want in gw29? Of course you can load up on City and Forest but then?

You've got 5 gameweeks to remove 5 players
Probably keep Salah , Isak plus 1 other
Don't have to take them all out until gw29
      Use the free transfers
Gordon to Kluivert looks good this week
Followed by Konsa to Bournemouth defender next week

      1. BusbySwede
        • 8 Years
        1 year, 1 month ago

I think my plan right now is what you are saying, use these 5 FT until gw29 and get a playing eleven and hoping to avoid injuries.
Just thinking if it's worth taking a hit and do Hall & Gordon to Bou def & mid now and Mbuemo gw after?

  3. Tonyawesome69
    • 7 Years
    1 year, 1 month ago

Rogers v Bournemouth mid will be a popular question.

Both players have the same number of fixtures between 25-29.

I think it ultimately depends on how you plan to navigate BGW29 and the number of FTs you have.

    1. Jet5605
      • 11 Years

There's no denying that BOU have glorious fixtures but it just feels like a midfield lottery similar to the Mitoma v March v McAllister dilemma with Brighton a couple of years ago.

I'd be getting Rogers in 25 if I had a few FTs up my sleeve otherwise he's just a hokey cokey transfer and could result in a -4

    2. The Mentaculus
      • 4 Years
      1 year, 1 month ago

Yeah it is for me. Have 2 FTs & (Harry) Wilson to sell but I don't think I'm going to lose Gordon to accommodate both. Think I might just go with no Villa since there's not really much to get excited about bar Ipswich & I don't want to FH29

I'd sell Gordon in a heartbeat.

He's expensive, with bad fixtures and blanks in 29 most likely.

Might do it next week but I'm very happy to hold for City, especially after seeing how Newcastle pressed against Arsenal and City's current fragility against that

FH in 34 F A Cup semi final date potentially up to 8 teams blanking
Wait to see when postponed fixtures are announced
Play WC week before biggest dgw followed by bench boost
      TC in the other dgw

I'm hoping the Newcastle dgw doesn't get put in 33/36, so I can then tc Isak in that week, use fh/bb in the doubles, with the wc week before bb (depends which double is bigger).

I'm in the same boat. I will be going TC salah as long as he stays fit.

Will just keep AM up my sleeve for later doubles, really like the thought of using it right at the end of the season.

Morning all, here are the day's FA Cup press conference times (in GMT via Sky):

    9am - Iraola (BOU)
    9.30am - Howe (NEW)
    10.15am - Slot (LIV)
11am - Postecoglou (TOT), Maresca (CHE)
1.30pm - Guardiola (MCI), Pereira (WOL), Glasner (CRY)
    1.45pm - Moyes (EVE)
    2pm - Emery (AVL)

I think we're just missing McKenna (IPS) and Nuno (NFO). The former is usually around 1.30pm. Forest aren't playing till Tuesday so Nuno might be doing his over the weekend/Monday.

Exact money are free transfers for the below, would you do it? If so, I'd wait as late as possible depending on the price rises

    Isak & Moyes > Watkins & Emery

    Leaves team as:

either free hit. Or I can get to the below 11 (or 10 depending on Fabianski) with a -4

        Fabianski
        Gabriel / Kerkez / Davis
        Palmer / Dango / Amad / Mbuemo
        Haaland / Beto / Cunha

        Henderson / Robinson / Cucurella / Salah

Then would either WC in 30 or 31

Thanks all. I'm leaning towards using AM with Emery this gw as waiting for it could get in the way of BB, which I'm looking at 33 or 36 like most. Do we have an idea of which one will be bigger? If it's 33 then AM wolves in 36 as woy says above becomes an option.

GW29 team as of now. Makes me lean more towards a FH

    Pickford(WHU)
    Faes(MUN) Robinson(TOT) Colwill(ars)
    Palmer(ars) Dango(BRE)
    Pedro(mci)

With 4 more transfers I can get a playing XI. But still the current 5-6 are very uninspiring

Personally I don't have an issue with using FH29

Especially if you want a lot of your current players for the run in...

When to use wildcard2 without leaving it too late is another consideration. Normally a few injuries can see to that.

On LiveFPL it doesn't look like the AM chip is built into the weekly planner which makes it difficult when planning across the weeks you are using the chip. Is this the same for everyone or do I have an outdated link?

If you think Liverpool beat Villa, the logic would be to go to AM Slott, even if you gambled on Moyes so far.

This would mean I transfer out Diaz and have fewer Villa players.

Does this make sense to you , if Liverpool were to win their doubles in dgw25, assuming that Diaz doesn't start scoring...

Was all set to set up a bench boost in DGW25 with Kepa, Kluivert , Milkenovic and Robertson.
However with Salah having a DGW v Wolves and Villa i think I need to TC Salah.
    That means massive benching headache
    Current playing XI is
    Keps
    Sou (a)
    TAA Munoz Gabriel
    Wol (h) Eve (h) Lei (a)
    Salah Palmer Mbeumo Rogers
    Bri (a) WHU (a). IPS (h)
    Kluuvert
    Isak. Gakpo

Benching Sels, Wood, Milkenovic , Robertson
