    Pickford
    TAA Gabriel Timber
    Salah Palmer Mbuemo Semenyo Dango
    Isak Wood

    (Fab Cunha Greaves Dunk)
    1FT & 0.5m

    A) Save FT
    B) Cunha > Beto

Can do Cunha, Isak & Palmer to Beto, Haaland & Savinho for -4 next week or get Beto this week and the other two next week.

    - Could just bench Cunha and play Dango but depends on the Isak news?
    - Hall has to go but probably can just keep him o the bench this week?

    2FTs

    Pick/Fab
    TAA/Gab/Munoz/Hall/Greaves
    Salah/Palmer/Mbeumo/Kluivert/Dango
    Isak/Wood/Cunha

I'm in a similar situation with Robinson my only bench cover (Robinson/Cunha/VDB).

Hoping to roll FT but will bring in Beto a week early if Isak news isn't good.

Why not do Cunha to Beto now and roll the other?

You definitely know Cunha is not going to play any part of this GW so you are only going to win with that transfer.

You only have 11 players Inc O'Shea and Harwood.

Gordon for Mbuemo should be fine? Definitely not FH on a blank GW, it is only 2-3 transfers from fine.

      Hall needs to go.

The news from Newcastle journos is that Isak is fine

But it still doesn't mean he starts at West Ham on Monday.

the issue with Newcastle is the leakers are usually unreliable and Eddie Howe will not give us any reliable information

So the way i see it, we will not have any idea whether he starts.

IMO, he doesn't start as he is just too important for the league cup final. They have basically no chance without him, with him they have a chance.

unfortunately, or fortunately depending on which way you look at it, i have several other issues like Cunha and Hall to sort first.

Yeah, the way I see it is no Isak could push you towards the wildcard if not FH29, but you'd want him back in soon enough.

Palmer provides a route to Saka if wildcarding.

If I was keen on getting Haaland in a wildcard this week would be a pretty straightforward choice.

I have 3 red flags, otherwise I was well set but with Hall, Gordon and Cunha I'm in a bit of a pickle.

It feels like I should wildcard, almost.

A Konate red card would have tipped it.

just too many unknowns to WC now imo

I think the supporters and cup fever are favouring silverware over a premier league position.

But you're probably right that Champions League qualification and €€€ tops the clubs considerations.

Cup Final is nice for Newcastle but it doesn't support Newcastle's future as much as a Champions League spot.

Isak will start if fit and having been spotted in training, I predict he does. Even more so with Hall/Gordon's absences.

Double edged sword. They will want Wilson to get minutes, just in case he has to play the EFL cup final. Wilson has a good record against West Ham. 45 mins each wouldn't be a surprise.

I'm expecting a timid game from Newcastle as players won't want to miss Wembley, especially seeing what has happened to Gordon and Hall.

Pressed confirm on Hall to Milenkovic (first time owning a Forest defender!) last night, largely to ditch the Toon lad before his inevitable drop, but already sorta wishing I'd gone for AWB...

Anything else need done here, with 2FT £0.0m ITB? Non-FH29, aim is to get Munoz after his blank and probably WC31...

For me it was because I didn't think a GW30 WC would look all that different from what I picked a couple weeks ago, with an incentive of getting on City early & restructuring a post-BB squad to one that could accommodate Haaland. But I know most people like to wait for the DGWs to be confirmed, which is understandable and probably prudent if aiming to BB33 (or 32 even)

GK picks were a Bit random. 2 Keppers with decent fixtures who are Both cheap, and would Be a good fit for G233 BB i I went down that route. Debating spending a bit more on a keeper instead of Jorgensen who will double in GW32 or GW33, so maybe Sels or Pope

Have Bowen & I'm pretty optimistic about the Newcastle game, and don't see a lot of better options for 29, but after that... I might ditch him if no DGW33. Looking to move him to Rashford/Asensio maybe after the blank. Quite like Savio if you're looking to pick someone up this week/next while still having an eye on doubles

Question for fellow managers who are WC-ing in 30/31 and satisfied with their ML/OR (not chasing), do you reckon its still a good idea to bring Haaland, at least for 29 and 30? I reckon he is the best captain option for those two gameweeks, and its ideal to move from Palmer for those 2 weeks and reasess on WC.
Of course, risks are losing two high owned assets - Isak (for 1 game) and Palmer (for 2 games) who :could: haul in those games

With a view to a BB33 and a FH34, possibly a TC32 on Isak, is this any good as a wildcard squad?

    Sels Areola
    Gvardiol Munoz Kerkez AWB Kilman
    Salah Mbeumo Palmer Kluivert Szoboszlai
    Isak Wood Marmoush

What's the GW29 transfer or playing short?

        Szoboszlai is the punt

As it stands I'm short this week so I can live with 10 in gw29 and use FH34.

Kilman might be Doherty so I'm not looking to BB with triple West Ham in gw33, all it needs is a Saints goal to bust that flush.

If you're on WC why not get a player who has a game next week as well as this?

            I guess so

I just was kicking myself for not bringing in Szoboszlai last week as I was considering it on here.

Also, Southampton at home looks tempting.

            I should look forward tho

            Antoine Semenyo instead of Szoboszlai?

I'm more looking for an in principle should I hit wildcard, save on using FH in 29 and risking just 10 players or a few hits this week.

Playing it now it's just postponing the hits to GW32-33.

For example let's take the odds favorites to make it to the semis. City, Villa, Fulham, Brighton, Soton and West Ham could have a double in 33.

You have 2 GW32 doublers, 4 GW33 doublers and 5 FTs. That's a maximum of 11 doublers total before hits.

Do a WC31 draft assuming the teams above will double in GW33.
How many GW32 doublers and how many GW33 doublers? I bet it's 15+ total.
Basically you're trading 4+ fixtures to solve whatever problems you have now. Not to mention the doublers you already have will have to stay fit and available until GW31 for you to have remotely the same hand WC31 would give you. Every injury or suspension to any of your doublers is minus 2 fixtures.

Yeah, I'd bet you're not going to WC this week, if you're half serious about FPL.

I've got 2FT + 1.6itb and plan to navigate GW29 without FH. How does the following plan look?

    GW28: Gakpo > Beto
    GW29: Harwood-Bellis > Ait Nouri
    GW29: Rogers > Semenyo / Elanga

    Sels
    TAA, Timber, Kerkez
    Salah, Palmer, Mbeumo, Kluivert
    Gakpo, Isak, Wood

    (Fabianski, Rogers, Robinson, HB)

Looks decent given the GW29 bench and keeping Palmer.
Man City, the team to hopefully dodge points for you in 29/30.

The only thing with Beto is it's pretty short term fixtures wise.

But you look in decent shape.

Wolves do also need to continue to improve defensively.

Plan is to bring in Cunha once his ban is over

Cunha and his bans have been a minefield I've been on the wrong side of this season.

          He might be extended yet.

Would you freehit gw29 if you had these players now and 1FT.

    Salah, Gakpo, TAA, Hall, Rogers

Guess I could get away with it with a -8 over the next 2.

You can sell Hall and probably Rogers too with Villa continuing in the Champions League by the looks.

If taking a hit, you may as well do so sooner than later if you are holding them for the final 10/11 games.

You don't even need a hit. Bench 3 of those and transfer out two...

      I'd keep the FH

^^This! How is this even a dilemma? I'm taking a hit to play 11 in 29 and it's a nobrainer for me. Would take a -12 before I'd consider playing the FH.

    Pickford (Fab)
    Aina Gabriel Hall (Keane Zabarnyi)
    Palmer Salah Dango Mbeubo (Rogers)
    Gakpo Isak Wood

    2 FTs, £2.2m ITB.

Feels like I should definitely do Hall to one other premium defender (Munoz?) but would you do anything else with this side, or keep the other transfer for a future week?

I've not decided on which weeks to play my chips yet, but am thinking all 3 (FH, BB, WC) might be deployed on the home stretch.

If Isak doesn't start you've got Rogers to cover but Gakpo has a knock and is a doubt too.

Dango should start at Spurs but it's not certain.

Yh Hall can go. Other ft could be used on Gakpo/Isak depending on injury news and your plans for the blank

Bench dilemma! Is starting team gtg or any line up changes you'd do?

    GK: Pickford (Flekken)
DEF: Gabriel Robinson, Konate (Kerkez, Faes)
    MID: Salah(c), Palmer, Kluivert, Mbeumo
    FWD: Beto,Isak (Wood)

What chance of Gakpo starting this week?

After holding this long would like to have the Sou game and save a transfer for the blank
