Evanilson (£5.8m) is free to play in Gameweek 35 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) after his red card against Manchester United was rescinded.

The Brazilian striker was sent off for serious foul play in the Cherries’ clash with the Red Devils.

It proved to be a costly dismissal, as United – 1-0 down at the time Evanilson received his marching orders – went on to grab a stoppage-time equaliser.

Now, though, the Premier League have overturned that controversial decision, which only came about in the first place because of VAR intervention.

WILL EVANILSON GET HIS POINTS BACK?

Now the big question for Evanilson’s owners: will he get his points back?

In a word, no.

FPL put the Brazilian’s owners out of their misery on Wednesday afternoon, confirming that he’ll remain on two points despite the rescission.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR EVANILSON?

The next few fixtures don’t make for great initial reading for Bournemouth but they might be facing Arsenal at the best time possible, in between the Gunners’ UEFA Champions League double-header against Paris-Saint Germain.

The Cherries could yet have a ‘double’ in Gameweek 36 (and blank in Gameweek 37), should the postponed clash with Manchester City be brought forward. We should get confirmation of that soon.

On the final day is where the real appeal lies: the visit of a relegated Leicester City side who have kept only one clean sheet all season.

Between Sarr and evanilson. I have the same decision to make.

Wait and see how forest perform on Thursday first. If they are becoming more leaky then tilts it towards playing sarr for me.

My Arsenal predicted lineup v Brentford:

    Raya
    White Saliba Kiwior Tierney
    Rice/Merino/Ode Partey Zinchenko
    Nwaneri Trossard Sterling

Last midfield spot (Rice/Merino/Ode) is difficult to predict.

With Partey available for the 2nd leg, he should come back in and move Merino to CF.

Difficult to call who will get the most mins against Bournemouth between Rice/Merino/Ode as I expect them to start the 2nd leg and no alternatives available (Jorginho injured).

    Raya
    Gvardiol Saliba Munoz Ruben
    Saka Rogers Murphy Salah
    Marmoush Isak

    Sels Milenkovic Sarr Mateta

alternative will be GW37, but with 3 arsenal, 3 palace, this week seems the best?

I’d quite like the Eva points back pls. I’d imagine if it was an OG being changed to a goal for a player, the points would be given. I wouldn’t care that much but my ML rival is getting some ridiculous bench jam (as always lol) with Burn coming on for Robinson. Be nice to claw a few points back

What’s hurt everyone most on FH?

Decided to go triple Newcastle attack. So ended on Barnes + Kerkez over Kluivert + Trippier (which I had for ages).

What do we reckon then? PL waiting until 5pm Friday to announce these fixture changes just so they can log off for the bank holiday weekend and not deal with any aggro until Tuesday? Really annoy those sitting on a WC thinking of going in 35. Nice 90 minute turnaround before the deadline

Does that mean they admit the red card was a mistake? Can someone explain this to me? Looked like a red to me but not deliberate, just a slip and came in with too much force and his feet were up - does the suspension get rescinded if it wasn’t on purpose or something?

I dont know about big chance. There is a chance. Everton will probably rise up but can only go as high as 13th. Fulham might drop but Bournemouth & Brightons fixtures in 35 would give you hope they wont. Outside chance Brentford overtake them but they'll need to beat Forest & Man Utd to even entertain the idea.
