Alongside being rewarded for goals, assists and clean sheets, the top players of each match will receive additional Fantasy Premier League (FPL) bonus points.
These go to at least three individuals, those who fare best on the BPS (Bonus Points System) algorithm.
Such a calculation adds either three, two or one to their tally.

What if two FPL players get the same bonus score?
- If there is a tie for first place, they both receive three bonus points. The next-best player gets one.
- If there is a tie for second place, the top player receives three bonus points while they both get two.
- If there is a tie for third place, the top player receives three bonus points, the second-best gets two, and this duo grab one each.
Where and when can I find the FPL bonus points?
They are usually confirmed an hour after a match has finished, though this can vary. You can see such bonus points added to the player’s information.
Even when the meeting is in progress, current BPS tallies can be viewed:
- On the desktop website, select the ‘Fixtures’ tab and click the match in question.
- In the official app’s Fantasy section, go to ‘Fixtures and Results’ and choose your match.
- In our very own Matches section, the ‘BPS Plus’ tab will give you a breakdown of every player
