A comparative new kid on the Fantasy block, the official Roshn Saudi League (RSL) Fantasy game – formerly the Saudi Pro League – is nonetheless one of the fastest growing, with over 500,000 playing it during the 2024/25 season.
This is no doubt partly down to the generous prizes (almost £100k was up for grabs last year, plus weekly prizes including iPhone 15 Max’s), but also the name value with star players and a familiar scoring system. You can also secure some prizes in the FFS league too, with the top 10 players securing either cash or membrships, and a total prize value of over £500.
After all, it’s run by ISM, the same team behind Fantasy Premier League (FPL).

BONUS POINTS
Like in FPL, each match ends with at least three players getting extra bonus points, determined by the game’s own Performance Index system. The top individual(s) will receive three of them.
As well as that, the fan-voted Man of the Match gets another two points.
SELECTING A SQUAD + STARTING 11
Here, RSL Fantasy is identical to FPL.
A budget of 100 million to spend on a 15-man squad, featuring two goalkeepers, five defenders, five midfielders and three forwards. No more than three players can come from the same club.
For each Round, pick your favourite 11 and carefully order the four substitutes, in case they’re needed to replace a non-playing starter.
A Captain scores double points, while the Vice Captain grabs the armband on occasions when the other doesn’t take part.
One difference to FPL is that the deadline for all Round decisions is merely five minutes before its first kickoff.
TRANSFERS
As for transfers, each manager gets one free transfer round and can collect up to five of them.
Making additional transfers will cost four points. Highly bought and highly sold players can rise or fall in price, 0.1m at a time.
CHIPS
Finally, some partial chip familiarity.
