The Gameweek 25 press conferences continue on Thursday, with seven managers scheduled to face the media.

You can find all the big injury updates in this article, which will be refreshed throughout the day.

If you missed the earlier-than-usual pressers of Daniel Farke and Sean Dyche on Wednesday, you can read the key team news here.

We should hear from the managers of the other 11 Premier League teams on Friday.

KEY GAMEWEEK 25 INJURY NEWS FROM THURSDAY

THURSDAY’S PRESS CONFERENCE TIMES

CHELSEA

Liam Rosenior is unsure if Reece James and Pedro Neto (both knocks) will be available for Saturday’s match at Molineux.

“Don’t know yet. Had training today, which was a recovery day for the lads who played a really tough physical game on Tuesday. We’ll check them tomorrow and then we’ll make a decision then.” – Liam Rosenior on Reece James and Pedro Neto

Jamie Gittens (hamstring) is definitely out, however.

“Jamie, he’s looking a little bit more long-term. It’s a real shame for him. He’s got a tear in his hamstring.

“I can’t ever say [how long it’ll be]. It’s too early to say.” – Liam Rosenior on Jamie Gittens

Cole Palmer and Estevao are both ready for 90 minutes, according to their manager (“yes!”), who was then asked if Palmer could string together successive starts.

“I think that’s another really hypothetical question. What we’re doing with not just Cole [but] all of the players. We have the very best medical team. We have the very best sports science team. We do many tests. We want to make sure that these players can play at the level that they need to play at to help us win. So, in terms of Cole, there isn’t a timeframe where he’s going to be perfect in a month or two months or three months. It’s just game-to-game. And that’s the way that we’ve been working with him. I think that is the way we will have to continue working with him and a few of our players.

“It’s not about not being able to only play him in certain games. Like I said before, it’s day by day. It’s making sure that he feels right, that he can contribute to the team in a way that he wants to, and I’ll keep working on that. Very soon, I’m sure, he’ll be in a place where he can play every minute of every game, and I’ll be a very happy man.” – Liam Rosenior on whether Cole Palmer can play back-to-back games and last 90 minutes

There was praise for Trevoh Chalobah, meanwhile – not that you have to do much to earn plaudits from management’s answer to the ‘Brilliant’ character from The Fast Show.

“Trevoh has been one of our brightest spots in terms of his performances, in terms of what he understands. What we want, not just on the pitch or tactically, in terms of the culture, in terms of what he gives the group. He loves this club. He understands what it takes to win and he’s made a fantastic impression on me and my staff so far.” – Liam Rosenior on Trevoh Chalobah

LIVERPOOL

Jeremie Frimpong (groin) remains out, while Joe Gomez (knock) won’t be ready to start on Sunday – but could be on the bench.

“Jeremie will definitely not train this week, so he’s not available for the weekend.

“With Joe, we have a little bit of hope – hope is the word, I think – that he might train Saturday. So, not available to start but maybe available to help the team if needed during the game because, as you already know, there are not that many defenders available at the moment.” – Arne Slot

Conor Bradley (knee), Alexander Isak (ankle), Giovanni Leoni (knee), Stefan Bajcetic (hamstring) and Jayden Danns (hamstring) remain sidelined.

MANCHESTER UNITED

Patrick Dorgu (hamstring), Matthijs de Ligt (back) and, it sounds like, Mason Mount (knock) are out for the Red Devils.

All three players were absent from training images in midweek, with Dorgu expected to be out until the spring.

“Probably, Mason [will be available] sooner. He’s not too far away, really. We’re hopeful it won’t be too long at all for Mase.

“Matta [De Ligt], he’s working his way back, he’s taking good steps and he’s improving. It’s been really positive. It’s a little bit too soon at the moment but, hopefully, it won’t be too long [before De Ligt is back] as well.” – Michael Carrick

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

Cristian Romero (illness) and Micky van de Ven (minor issue) are both available for the clash with Manchester United.

Djed Spence (calf), however, is “touch and go”.

“Most are okay.

“Micky is good, trained today, is available for selection for Saturday.

“Djed is getting closer, he’ll be a little bit touch-and-go. There is a good chance that he could be ready.

“Yep, [Romero should be available].” – Thomas Frank

Lucas Bergvall (ankle), Pedro Porro (hamstring), Ben Davies (ankle), Richarlison (hamstring), Rodrigo Bentancur (hamstring), Mohammed Kudus (thigh), James Maddison (knee), Kevin Danso (toe) and Dejan Kulusevski (knee) remain on the injury list.

BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION

Yasin Ayari (shoulder) will miss the ‘A23 derby’ after picking up an injury last weekend.

Adam Webster (knee) and Stefanos Tzimas (knee) remain sidelined, while Solly March (knee) is still short of match fitness on his own road back from a lengthy lay-off.

Diego Gomez is at least back after missing Gameweek 24 with a minor issue. Jack Hinshelwood has recovered from illness, too.

Mats Wieffer (toe) is also “close”, having been out since December.

“Diego Gomez, he will be back. He will be an option.

“Mats Wieffer is close.

“Yasin Ayari is unfortunately out for the game. I think after his foul he suffered in the game against Everton, he had a small shoulder issue. It’s nothing big but for this game, he will be out.” – Fabian Hurzeler

It’s been one in, one out on the loan front this week. Brajan Gruda departed for RB Leipzig but Matt O’Riley is back from Marseille.

“He’s an experienced player. He can offer us a danger in the opponents’ box because he’s a great player to attack the opponents’ box. He has a very good left foot, I think that’s another big advantage. He’s very good in playing in the pockets. He has a good understanding of the game and therefore, we are pleased that he’s back because he’s not only a good player, he also has a good character. He’s fitting to our values, to our principles.” – Fabian Hurzeler on Matt O’Riley

In discussing the right-wing options, with Gruda now gone, Hurzeler said that Yankuba Minteh is “getting back now more and more into his shape.”

SUNDERLAND

Granit Xhaka (ankle) and Bertrand Traorè (knee) remain out for the Black Cats.

“Not yet. It’s going well, he’s going well. So, he ran on the AlterG [anti-gravity treadmill] today, so it’s positive.

“I hope he will recover and heal quickly and, in the spring and the end of the season, [we’ll] have the best version of Granit with us.” – Regis Le Bris on whether he had an update on Granit Xhaka

New signing Nilson Angulo is “fit” but has yet to train with his new teammates.

“Not yet [in the building]. Probably in this evening.

“We’ll see when he will be with us. He played a lot, so he’s fit. Now, it’s a question of connection with his teammates, with the squad. It could be quick. I hope that will be the case. We’ll have an interesting week next week [with a midweek Premier League game and an FA Cup fourth-round tie], so we expect him to be available.

“Yeah, [there’s a chance for Saturday].” – Regis Le Bris on Nilson Angulo

WEST HAM UNITED

Jean-Clair Todibo begins a three-match ban following his sending off last weekend.

Nuno Espirito Santo otherwise seemed to give his squad a clean bill of health. The only player flagged with an injury at the moment is back-up goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski (back).

“Some problems that we have to assess. We still have tomorrow for players that we need to see carefully and then decide.

“Everyone else [bar Todibo] is available, yeah, hopefully.” – Nuno Espirito Santo

New loan signing Axel Disasi could be involved.

“He’s been working. He’s in a good place, physically. He’s been working physically at Chelsea, hard.

“Of course, he has to now get inside the team, know his teammates, but I think he can help us. He’s a strong defender, good on the ball – a good option.

“[Whether he’s ready to play] is what we are assessing and [we will] decide tomorrow.” – Nuno Espirito Santo on Axel Disasi

Good to go? Thoughts on my options below?

    Pickford
    Gabriel(v) Chalobah Tarkowski
    Fernandes(c) Mbeumo Wirtz Rice Rogers
    Ekitike Bowen

    Dubravka | Welbeck, Virgil, Collins

    1FT. 1.8 ITB

Considering going with only 2 Arsenal in the DGW. My options, in order of most likely decision:

    1. Do nothing now + do nothing next week (2 DGWers only)
    2. Pickford > Raya next GW
    3. Tarkowski > Timber next GW
    4. Tark/Virgil > Timber today

With Raya, I'd only have 2 outfield blankers in GW31, which gives me some leeway for injuries, or to buy another blanker (i.e. one from Palace, Man City). But he could easily be matched by Pickford up to GW34, anyway, who has a better PPG (4.4 vs 4.1). With such a narrow call on points, I lean towards the cheaper option.

Timber's minutes and output in question, with lots of fixtures coming Arsenal's way before my planned WC35. Meanwhile, my defence is d e e p

Generally, Buying 0 Arsenal also leaves the option of buying Saka back without selling another Arsenal player, though I'm more likely to wait till the WC for that. And finally, Arsenal are more likely to double in GW33 than Everton (Pickford/Tarkowski) and Liverpool (Virgil), which is when I'm planning to FH anyway. So that means that any Arsenal player I bring in is also more likely to blank (and force a transfer) by GW34, even if I can bench them for GW31. Have I just made up my mind with all this babbling then? Well, buying Arsenal could still be worth it for what is likely to work out as a 4-point hit ---though it could rise to 8 points... I think!

Best mid to replace Bruno G? Budget of 9.6m

          Current midfield:
          Rice, Bruno, Enzo, Cherki

          Mbuemo the best option?

Pretty set on getting Saliba in as my 3rd Arsenal player (With Gabriel and Timber), as it means selling Dorgu. Was thinking about getting Rice in but that means selling Wilson who has been great. Which move is better:

          A. Dorgu to Saliba now and bench Andersen (Everton at home)
          B. Wait until gw 26 and play Andersen this week (would also mean flexibility if something unexpected happens)

          Thanks.

I’m going to go against the curse of the early kickoff and cap him.

Have to set my team and do my transfers today as am flying out to Lanzarote tomorrow and won’t get to our hotel before the deadline.

Did Rogers to Enzo and capping Bruno F, so Rogers and Haaland will both haul now!

Rumours that Harvey Barnes will be declaring for Scotland - maybe next week. That's a good coup for the Jocks.

2 FT and 0.3 ITB. Thoughts on playing BB if I ditch Dorgu & Szob for Hill (AVL) & Wilson (EVE)? Really torn here as having 3FT next week would be good but I'm going to have to sort Dorgu and Szob next week anyway and so getting BB out of the way would also be good.

A - Use 2FT and BB with Dubravka (WHU) - Wilson (EVE) - Gudmund (NFO) - Hill (AVL)
B - Roll and have 3FT next week

          Pickford
          Gabriel - Timber - Andersen
          BrunoF - Rice - Enzo - Cunha
          Haaland - Ekitike - DCL
