We should hear from 15 Premier League managers on Friday as the Gameweek 27 team news continues to filter through.

You can find all the key injury updates in this article, which will be refreshed throughout the day.

For the headline news from Thursday’s five pressers, check out this round-up here.

KEY GAMEWEEK 27 INJURY NEWS FROM FRIDAY

FRIDAY’S PRESS CONFERENCE TIMES

MANCHESTER CITY

Pep Guardiola gave no verbal confirmation that Erling Haaland (knee) would be available this weekend but emphatically nodded when asked if the Norwegian was “back fully fit”.

If you missed it, Haaland was pictured training on Wednesday.

Savinho (thigh) will return on Saturday, too, but Jeremy Doku (calf) remains out ahead of Newcastle United’s visit.

“Doku is not ready and Savinho is ready.” – Pep Guardiola

Josko Gvardiol (leg) and Mateo Kovacic (ankle) remain out, while we await an update on Max Alleyne after he hobbled out of the FA Cup win over Salford City.

Meanwhile, Guardiola hailed the importance of a midweek break.

“The important thing is the players are revitalised after three days. We’ve had a lot of months with no or few days off – games every weekend and midweek.

“I don’t have to run one metre so for me it’s not a problem. After one or two days I sleep well, it’s enough. For the players, it’s really good. Sometimes they have a long week to rest, this one and the next one, to forget [about football] and to train good. And they trained good in the last few days.” – Pep Guardiola

Elsewhere in a very brief presser, there was praise for Antoine Semenyo.

“Of course, he scored a lot of goals – the strikers and the players who play up front are so important – but it’s not just that. He makes a special rhythm, his versatility to play in many positions up front, all three positions. We knew it and he comes from Bournemouth, they are exceptional in the rhythm and defensively, so he had it in his DNA. His impact has been really good.

“Antoine, we played against him many, many times in the last years. Whether he can be top-class or elite, we have to see. I don’t know, when you buy a player from another club, they come here, how they adapt to play in the Champions League, where he hasn’t played before. The biggest stages in the Premier League, yes, but in the knockout stages, in this position, is a good test for him, how he will react. But I’m pretty sure, with his mentality, I think he will handle it quite well.” – Pep Guardiola on Antoine Semenyo

ARSENAL

Mikel Arteta says he has no fresh injury concerns from the midweek draw at Molineux. He also implied that Bukayo Saka is fine after his second-half substitution.

“No, nothing new.” – Mikel Arteta on whether he had any new concerns from midweek

“Bukayo was okay to start the game [against Wolves] but we knew that he could not finish the game, so we had to get him out. He was going to start to cramp or take a risk with the previous injury and we didn’t want to do that.” – Mikel Arteta on Bukayo Saka

Arteta confirmed that another player who was seemingly forced off with a head/facial injury, Leandro Trossard, is “fine”.

Meanwhile, the Arsenal boss said there was a “big possibility” that Martin Odegaard (knock) and Kai Havertz (muscle) will return.

“We have to wait till tomorrow but there is a big possibility that they are available for the game.” – Mikel Arteta on Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz

Arteta (half-jokingly) fired back at a reporter when asked about Jurrien Timber and Martin Zubimendi, who have played the most minutes in the Premier League this season, looking “fatigued”.

“For me, they look great.” – Mikel Arteta on Jurrien Timber and Martin Zubimendi

BRENTFORD

Kevin Schade is back from a three-match ban, while loanee Reiss Nelson is available again: he was ineligible to face his parent club in Gameweek 26.

Josh Dasilva, Fábio Carvalho and Antoni Milambo all remain out with knee injuries.

Jordan Henderson and Igor Thiago were, like Schade, absent from the FA Cup squad last Sunday but those two have been managed carefully in cup ties this season and Keith Andrews suggested they’ll return this weekend.

“Yeah, everyone has come through that [Macclesfield] game well. A few players that missed it for various reasons will come back into the squad. So, yeah, we’re in a pretty good place on that front.” – Keith Andrews

NEWCASTLE UNITED

Sven Botman (back) looks set to return for the trip to Manchester City.

But the game comes too soon for Lewis Miley (dead leg/muscle) and likely Yoane Wissa (knock), too.

“Hopefully, good news or better news on Sven Botman. He could be in and around this game.” – Eddie Howe

“Lewis Miley, still a little bit to go, I think.

“It was a dead leg, so that was factually correct, but it disturbed a bit of the muscle. Again, I don’t think he’s too far away, nothing more than a week, a couple of weeks maximum.” – Eddie Howe

“I don’t think [Wissa] will be [available tomorrow] but I don’t think he’ll be too far off maybe the Qarabağ game.

“It was in training, a nasty little knock, but I think he’ll be fine.” – Eddie Howe

Fabian Schar (ankle), Tino Livramento (hamstring), Bruno Guimaraes (hamstring) and Emil Krafth (knee) all remain out for longer periods. Livramento should be the first one back in March.

“Tino is making good progress but still I don’t think we’re going to shave too much time off the early March target for him.” – Eddie Howe on Tino Livramento

Joelinton (groin) was back in the Newcastle squad for Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League win over Qarabag.

After Anthony Gordon‘s four-goal haul up top in midweek, Eddie Howe was asked about the natural winger’s attributes as a central striker.

“Anthony has got some really good qualities in that position [centre-forward]. None more so than his pressing intensity but also his tactical understanding of when to do it and how to do it is. It is of the very highest level. A couple of our goals came from his regains and that’s not by luck, it’s by his really good judgement and where he puts himself.

“I was delighted with his performance.” – Eddie Howe on Anthony Gordon

BOURNEMOUTH

Marcus Tavernier (hamstring) has returned to training this week and will be assessed to see if he can feature against West Ham United.

“Tav has started training with us, and it’s very good news, but I don’t know if he’s going to be ready for tomorrow or not. We will train today and see how he feels and take a decision from there. But if it’s not for tomorrow, it’s going to be for the next one.” – Andoni Iraola on Marcus Tavernier

Matai Akinmboni featured for the under-21s recently after months on the sidelines with a muscle injury.

Justin Kluivert (knee), Julio Soler (hamstring) and Ben Gannon-Doak (hamstring) remain out.

Tyler Adams and David Brooks, who both recently returned from injury, are “ready” for more involvement.

There are also no new concerns.

“[We have had] some more training for the last ones we recovered, Tyler Adams, Brooksy, [so] that they are ready for tomorrow. No new injuries, so it’s overall good news, I would say.” – Andoni Iraola

Away from team news, there was plenty from the Bournemouth boss on budget forward Eli Kroupi.

“I think with Junior, with Evanilson, I don’t judge them by the goals. Goals are important, but it doesn’t give you like a guarantee [of a good performance/result].

“I prefer he does everything and then if he scores a goal, amazing. But it gives me the guarantee of, okay, we are not going to lose the game because I put this player over the other player. I think I’m really pleased because we score goals overall. It’s not about number 9, number 7. If the team scores goals, okay, you are playing. Team scores goals, perfect, you are going to continue playing. I don’t care if you are the one putting the ball on the net or it’s the one next to you. And it’s the approach.

“I’m not telling Junior how you finish, how you put the feet so you can score. He’s amazing doing this. I’m not going to show him anything in that department. I need to tell him what the team needs so he can be on the pitch, so he can score his goals, he can do his plays. And I think he’s improving a lot. He’s improving a lot because it’s kind of a new position for him.

“It is not so different. Basically, when we play with Eva and Junior, we are playing with two strikers, but there are some demands on the ball, off the ball, that both need to do, and I think they are doing well. The other day also with Enes [Unal], they played 30-something minutes together, so it’s good he has more relationships. I’m happy with Junior, if he starts or if he comes from the bench like the other day.” – Andoni Iraola

CRYSTAL PALACE

Maxence Lacroix suffered an adductor injury in Thursday’s UEFA Conference League clash with Zrinjski and it sounds like he’ll miss out on Sunday.

Chadi Riad also came off with cramp in yesterday’s game but Oliver Glasner said “all others look fine”.

“No [update on Lacroix].

“It looked like yesterday, yes [he will miss out this weekend], but again, we will assess him further with training in the afternoon after the press conference. Then, we will see. He had to be subbed because he had problems with his adductor. He mentioned it at half-time already, so it doesn’t look good.” – Oliver Glasner on Maxence Lacroix

“It looks like we’ll have to change the back three again. It’s every single game. This was the foundation of everything we had, our backline, our togetherness. Right at the moment, we’re not that consistent in our defence.

“We are struggling to get clean sheets because we are making too many mistakes. This is what we have to improve, definitely, and the next chance is on Sunday but again, there will be three new players in the back three.” – Oliver Glasner

Elsewhere on the injury front, Jean-Philippe Mateta (knee) won’t be involved for another 2-3 weeks, while Jefferson Lerma (hamstring) has joined the injury list for three weeks.

Eddie Nketiah (hamstring) has had a setback and will be out for a “few more weeks”.

Cheick Doucoure (knee) was involved in training on Wednesday, although it’s not clear how close he is to a playing comeback after being sidelined for 12 months. He wasn’t involved on Thursday evening, indeed.

As for Glasner himself, reports suggest his tenure could be ended early. Asked about those rumours, the Palace boss didn’t exactly put them to bed.

“Right now, I’m just not good enough to replace the players we sold. I’m just not good enough to integrate the new players in a way that we can play the same way like we did. I’m not good enough that we can cope with the schedule we had.

“On the other side, I think I was good enough to play the best season ever, to win two trophies and also to look back on 32 points after 26 games. I looked back because I like to look back sometimes, in the last 10 years, Crystal Palace has been better twice. Once was our season last year, and the other one was in 2021. Never before, it was more or less between 25 and 29 points all the time.

“Let’s see [if I can be good enough to lead the club till the end of the season]. I always said – and this wasn’t the first press conference where I could just repeat myself – as a manager, you always depend on your players. They will get all the support like always, and then we will see.”

“Let’s see what the future brings. You never know.” – Oliver Glasner on if he still wants to be manager until the end of the season

“Yes, I feel so, yeah.” – Oliver Glasner on if he still has the “drive” to be manager until the end of the season

SUNDERLAND

Granit Xhaka (ankle) is back available but Bertrand Traore (knee) won’t be back this weekend.

“Granit has more or less trained fully this week, so he’s available for selection. It won’t be the case for Berto. Next week, he will rejoin the group and might be available soon.” – Regis Le Bris

Reinildo Mandava (knee) has now also been ruled out for 3-4 weeks but Omar Alderete is “okay”, having been rested in the FA Cup fourth-round tie against Oxford United due to a niggly foot issue.

“Yes [everyone else is okay]. Only Reinildo. Rei won’t be available [for] at least three or four weeks. So, potentially after Brighton, in time for Newcastle, potentially.

“[Alderete] is okay, yeah.” – Regis Le Bris

Nordi Mukiele has a hand injury but Regis Le Bris said it is only stopping him from taking long throws, rather than rendering him a doubt.

“Yeah, he’s got an issue with his hand [and that’s why he’s not taking long throws]. I hope he’ll be close to his previous ability soon.” – Regis Le Bris on Nordi Mukiele

ASTON VILLA

Boubacar Kamara (knee), Youri Tielemans (ankle), Alysson (knock) and John McGinn (knee) remain unavailable this weekend.

Harvey Elliott will also miss out for unknown reasons.

Marco Bizot got his marching orders against Newcastle United last weekend and will be suspended, although it’s still unclear whether it was for the denial of an obvious goalscoring opportunity (banned for one match) or serious foul play (three matches).

Set to return, however, is Matty Cash (knee).

“Matty Cash is coming back. He trained the last two training sessions good and he is feeling good, and he is coming back.

“The players who were injured are still injured – Kamara, McGinn, Youri Tielemans and Alysson.

“Harvey Elliott, as well, is not available for tomorrow.

“The other players, more or less, they are available.” – Unai Emery

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

Dominic Solanke trained on Friday after being struck down with a minor throat issue earlier in the week.

New Spurs boss Igor Tudor is not, however, expecting any of his injured players back for the north London derby.

Wilson Odobert (knee), Destiny Udogie (hamstring), Kevin Danso (toe), Lucas Bergvall (ankle), Ben Davies (ankle), Rodrigo Bentancur (hamstring), Mohammed Kudus (thigh), James Maddison (knee), Dejan Kulusevski (knee), Pedro Porro (hamstring) and Richarlison (hamstring) are all sidelined.

“Probably no, [no-one will be back]. Solanke had some problems with his throat but he made today some training. All others, probably someone [will be back] next week.” – Igor Tudor

Cristian Romero also continues to serve a four-match suspension. He’ll not be back till Gameweek 30.

“We made training with 13 players, so it is how it is.” – Igor Tudor

MANCHESTER UNITED

Michael Carrick was again pretty sketchy on Mason Mount (minor issue) and Matthijs de Ligt (back) but suggested the former is closer to a comeback.

“Yeah, Mason is getting closer. I think we’ve been patient, so we don’t want to push anything. He’s an important part of the group, Mason, and we want him back and he’ll have a big impact. He’s getting closer, which is good for us.

“Matta is a little bit working towards it. As I said last week, he’s a little bit behind Mason, so we’re just trying to work with him to progress him to get him a bit closer.” – Michael Carrick

Patrick Dorgu (hamstring) is definitely out.

Harry Maguire has been in training since Gameweek 26, so the knock he picked up in the draw with West Ham United seems to have amounted to nothing.

EVERTON

Jack Grealish (foot) is out long term but Everton are, it seems, otherwise injury-free.

They will be without another of their players in Gameweek 27 through suspension, however: Jake O’Brien was sent off for the denial of an obvious goalscoring opportunity in the defeat to Bournemouth last week.

David Moyes confirmed that veteran Seamus Coleman, one option to deputise at right-back, is fit and available.

“Seamus [Coleman] is fit and available as well [at right-back], so we’ve got people we can choose. We’ll move on from [O’Brien’s red card]. He got sent off and these things happen.” – David Moyes, when asked about options at right-back, such as James Garner, Nathan Patterson and Seamus Coleman

BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION

Yasin Ayari (shoulder) and long-term absentees Adam Webster (knee) and Stefanos Tzimas (knee) remain out.

“He’s not available tomorrow but he will be back in training next week and then he should be an option for the next game.” – Fabian Hurzeler on Yasin Ayari

But Solly March (knee), who has had his own lengthy lay-off, could be involved after a return to training.

The Seagulls also have no fresh concerns.

“At the moment, we have no new injury concerns.

“I think another positive one is that Solly [March] might be in the squad. So, he trained this week fully with the team. He made a good impression and he could be an option for tomorrow.

“I think we have been very patient with him. He was out now for a very long time. So, it’s about making the small steps with him, not trying to do two steps at one time.” – Fabian Hurzeler

FULHAM

Sasa Lukic (hamstring) and Tom Cairney (calf) have returned to training this week, with Marco Silva hinting that one of them could be involved.

Samuel Chukwueze (calf) is out, however.

WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS

Angel Gomes looks set to make a swift return despite coming off with a back issue on Wednesday.

“Yeah, it’s good. I think it locked up, I think he had a spasm. He’s trained today, so that’s good news.

“Yep, [he’s available this weekend].” – Rob Edwards on Angel Gomes

Otherwise, Rob Edwards doesn’t have too many concerns from Gameweek 26.

“They’re alright, there are a few walking wounded. There are a few we’ve got to check on and see how they are tomorrow. We know we’ve got a tight squad, we’ve got to try and look after everyone in between these games as well, especially with them coming thick and fast as they are, but the vast majority of the group are in good nick.” – Rob Edwards on the rest of his squad

Wolves might also recover Toti Gomes (hamstring).

“Potentially could be involved against Palace. He trained today, so he’s had a couple of training sessions now with the group, so that’s good news for us.” – Rob Edwards on Toti Gomes

Hwang Hee-chan (calf) remains out but could return to training next week.

That wasn't a nod from Pep. If you bother to actually watch the press conference, it was a clear facial spasm.

Glasner will leave in June but exit could be anticipated and happen shortly if #CPFC accept to proceed."

At this point it's best to just let him go - he doesn't want to be there.

Probably been asked a million times, but Rayan for Dango for the cheap MF...is Dango nailed enough?

Dango might be more nailed, because Rayan has Tavernier and Kluivert I think as competitors for his spot. Not sure who Dango has

I would say both are nailed - Dango ever so slightly more.

Is it crazy to Captain Semenyo?

I don't have Palmer but have Haaland who isn't in form.

I'm chasing and my rank is terrible.

Is there an element of Ruben Amorim about Glasner this season? Don't have 3 fit cbs... could always just play with a back 4 or something wild like that. Some of them seem completely inflexible to their chosen system

Igor Tudor: “In this particular moment with 10 injuries, we trained with 13 players.

“It is what is is. It's not fantastic, beautiful but 13 we will have and it is quite enough to achieve what we want on Sunday.”

Play Amad (eve) over Hill (whu)?

I thought about selling Amad, but it's hard to justify selling someone that could play in GW31 atm given how many blankers I currently have... (7 blankers + 2FTs)

Mukiele. Clean sheet chance is higher for Arsenal, Timber still very attacking too.
