The dust has barely settled on the weekend’s football but the pre-match press conferences for Gameweek 29 are already underway.

There are 11 Premier League managers set to face the media on Monday, including Arne Slot and Liam Rosenior.

You can find all the big injury updates in this article, which will be refreshed throughout the day.

We should hear from the managers of at least seven other Premier League teams on Tuesday. We say ‘at least’ because there is a decent chance Oliver Glasner and Igor Tudor won’t host their pressers till after the Gameweek 29 deadline. Their two clubs square off on Thursday.

KEY GAMEWEEK 29 TEAM NEWS FROM MONDAY

MONDAY’S PRESS CONFERENCE TIMES

LIVERPOOL

Arne Slot expects Liverpool to be without Florian Wirtz (back) for both games against Wolverhampton Wanderers this week.

The Reds face Wolves on Tuesday in the league before the swift rematch in the FA Cup on Friday.

“Not anything different than what I said after the game [on Saturday]. The game tomorrow will probably come too soon and maybe the game at the weekend as well. Let’s see how that ends up.

“But we hope to have him back somewhere next week. Maybe earlier. Maybe a bit later. But that timescale.” – Arne Slot on Florian Wirtz

Elsewhere, Alexander Isak (ankle) will likely be out until April and Wataru Endo (foot), Conor Bradley (knee) and Giovanni Leoni (knee) are on the long-term injury list.

Jeremie Frimpong returned from injury as a substitute in Gameweek 28 and could start in midweek but Slot urged caution on his minutes.

“I don’t think the only position we struggled was the right full-back position. I think it has been in more positions, but right full-back is probably the one that stands out most.

“Having Jeremie back is really nice but [managing his minutes] does go through your mind. Because of the fact we play three games in seven days. Because we play Galatasaray [at Anfield] and have the early kick-off afterwards in Brighton. Those things you all have to take into account, especially with players who come back from injuries.

“But we also know the importance of every single game. That is a challenge the performance staff, the player himself, the manager has.

“But I’m not the only one who has that. I prefer to have this problem – to manage how many minutes I have to give him – than to see him with the medical staff doing his recovery.” – Arne Slot on Jeremie Frimpong

CHELSEA

Cole Palmer is available to start again, having suffered only a knock – and not a recurrence of his groin issue – against Arsenal.

“It wasn’t [his groin issue]. He took a knock, he was absolutely fine.

“He’s looking really good. I think you can see in the way we’ve managed him over the last six weeks. He played 83 minutes [vs Arsenal]. That was tactical, why I took him and Enzo off, they were both on yellow cards and I wanted Garna and Liam [Delap] to come on and give us a freshness, which I felt they did. He’s absolutely fine to start the game on Wednesday.

“So yes, Cole’s absolutely fine to start the game on Wednesday and Reece [James] is also fine.” – Liam Rosenior

Jamie Gittens (hamstring) and Levi Colwill (knee) remain out, while this game may come too soon for Marc Cucurella (hamstring) and Estevao (hamstring).

“No, getting closer.

“Cucu is looking really good. Hopefully, we can get him back involved, if not for Wednesday, for Saturday, for sure, which is great with the schedule we’ve got coming up.

“Estevao [Willian] is back on the pitch running, which is great. Jamie Gittens is doing really well.” – Liam Rosenior on if he will get anyone back from injury

Pedro Neto serves a one-match ban following his dismissal on Sunday but Wesley Fofana returns from his own ban.

Dario Essugo is also back in training after a month or so out with an unknown issue.

Having featured off the bench on Sunday, the newly fit-again Romeo Lavia is inching closer to a start.

“It was brilliant to have Romeo [Lavia] get his first minutes in a long time [on Sunday]. I felt he looked really strong [against Arsenal].

“[He’s] close [to starting]. We have managed him in a different way in terms of his rehab, and hopefully, once he is back fit, which he is now, he stays fit.” – Liam Rosenior on Romeo Lavia

BOURNEMOUTH

Andoni Iraola is unsure whether Evanilson (dead leg) will be fit on Tuesday. The Brazilian sat out training on Sunday but the Cherries train again on Monday evening and there will be an assessment then.

“I don’t really know, it’s still too early. The only thing I can tell you, yesterday he didn’t train, he still was very sore, but we train this evening, so I hope he comes with better feelings and he gives a try at least, and let’s see where he is. He’s not injured, it’s just a knock, he has a dead leg, but obviously we are talking about one or two days and still he’s a little bit sore, yes.” – Andoni Iraola on Evanilson

Marcos Senesi “should be fine”, however, despite taking a knock late on against Sunderland.

“No, he should be fine. It’s true that after the game he had a good mark. At the end, it is the situations that we were talking the other day. It’s like after the game I also thought it was with the ball was not in play, but the ball is in play and they elbowed him. The ‘keeper elbowed him. And the consequences— Marcos goes out, 30 seconds, he didn’t ask for any medical attention — I think they should, I don’t know, change the rules. But definitely it doesn’t look like it’s fair. You receive an elbow and then you have to leave the pitch and leave your team with 10 players. For me, it’s strange, but it is what it is. But I don’t think it will affect him of playing tomorrow or not.” – Andoni Iraola on Marcos Senesi

Lewis Cook (hamstring), Justin Kluivert (knee), Julio Soler (hamstring) and Ben Gannon-Doak (hamstring) remain out for the Cherries.

BRENTFORD

Keith Andrews has confirmed that Caoimhin Kelleher will return to the Bees’ squad after missing out in Gameweek 28 to attend the birth of his child.

“He was off yesterday! He’s good to go.

“Yeah, Caoimhin will be in the squad.” – Keith Andrews when asked if Caoimhin Kelleher will need any more time off

However, two of his teammates who also sat out the seven-goal thriller at Turf Moor will be out for a longer period.

In their weekly injury bulletin, Brentford say they hope Aaron Hickey (hamstring) will “return after the March international break”.

Vitaly Janelt (foot) has a metatarsal injury and is “likely to miss some game time”, meanwhile.

Reiss Nelson (calf) “is expected to return to full training in the coming days” but will miss the Bournemouth game.

Elsewhere, long-term absentee Josh Dasilva (knee) is in “modified training” and likely won’t be seen in a matchday squad for a good while yet.

Antoni Milambo and Fábio Carvalho (both knee) remain out, too.

“No [fresh worries]. Knocks, a physical game, but no, on that front, we should be okay.” – Keith Andrews on if he has any fresh concerns

EVERTON

Seamus Coleman (knock) has rejoined Charly Alcaraz (unknown injury) and Jack Grealish (foot) on the sidelines.

“Seamus Coleman picked up a little bit of a knock – not serious – on Friday, so he missed out at the weekend.

“He won’t be available for this game, but we’re hoping he is not going to be too long.” – David Moyes

David Moyes hinted at further issues beyond the above.

“We’ve got a couple of things which I won’t reveal at the moment.” – David Moyes

With both of his strikers in decent nick, Moyes was asked if he could pair Beto with Thierno Barry together in games going forward.

“Will we do it? We may well do it when we need to but I don’t think it’s something I’d be doing all the time, that’s for sure.” – David Moyes on starting two strikers

LEEDS UNITED

Joe Rodon is expected to be fit to face Sunderland, despite coming off with hamstring discomfort on Saturday.

Daniel Farke is also hopeful of having James Justin available, despite the defender requiring stitches in his leg in the same game.

Noah Okafor (hamstring) remains out.

“[Rodon] had some problems with his hamstring. At the beginning, it wasn’t clear whether it was just cramp or a light injury. We have assessed him, also scanned him, and it seems like he will be okay. As things stand, I expect him to be available for tomorrow. It looks okay.

“The only little question mark after the last game was James Justin. There was a straight leg against him – and you know, a foul was against him was given! – and he need to be stitched after the game because he was full of blood but he’s also a tough boy. So, I have also hopes that he’s available for tomorrow.

“As it stands, I expect just Noah Okafor to be out for this game.” – Daniel Farke

As for the possibility of rotation, Farke seemed to downplay the likelihood of that.

“I’ll be honest, in this turnaround, I’m not too concerned about the load from the weekend and the ability to recover because I’m always a bit more careful when we have an evening kick-off, for example, and then travel and you arrive home in the middle of the night and you don’t have a proper night. This time around, firstly, it’s also for Sunderland more or less the same [turnaround]. They have additionally even the travel. For us, it’s also we have three proper nights between the games, so could sleep three times proper, don’t have travel, so they can sleep more or less in their own beds. We have more than 72 hours between the games. If, on this level, you’re not capable to recover after 72 hours, then you shouldn’t play professional football.” – Daniel Farke

SUNDERLAND

Regis Le Bris says there is “nothing new to report” on the Black Cats’ injury situation ahead of Gameweek 29.

He did, however, then go on to suggest there were one or two minor doubts.

“Nothing new to report at the minute, which is good because against Fulham, it was probably the worst experience we had this season so far. We still have one or two minor doubts; it’s normal with a quick turnaround between two fixtures. We’ll probably make decisions late but at the minute they are okay.” – Regis Le Bris

Nordi Mukiele (calf), Brian Brobbey (groin), Jocelin Ta Bi (ankle), Romaine Mundle (hamstring), Dennis Cirkin (hamstring) and Reinildo Mandava (knee) all remain out.

“For Romaine, we know that it will be long but it’s important to recover properly. We will support him. It will be the case for Jocelin, as well.

“For the others, it’s a question of a week, two weeks, three weeks, depending on their situations.” – Regis Le Bris

NOTTINGHAM FOREST

Vitor Pereira expects Stefan Ortega (calf) to be sidelined for a “few more days” after he sat out Gameweek 28.

Matz Sels (groin) returned earlier than expected for that match, taking his place between the posts.

“Yes, Ortega got an injury. I think for a few more days, he will be out.

“We had a conversation with Sels, trying to explain that, ‘We need you in this moment. I know that this is not the time because you need a little bit more days to be fit, to be in shape’, but in the end, he’s a leader, is a person with character, strong character. He needs, he wants, to help the team and he decided to accept the challenge and to take the risk between me, him, and the medical department to go to play the game.” – Vitor Pereira

John Victor (knee), Willy Boly (knee), Nicolo Savona (knee) and Chris Wood (knee) are still out.

WEST HAM UNITED

Pablo Felipe (calf) will sit out another West Ham match in midweek.

“No, not yet. He has joined individual programmes as part of the session. Assessing him day by day.” – Nuno Espirito Santo on whether Pablo will return

Aside from Pablo and the suspended Freddie Potts, the Hammers have no other absentees – yet – for Gameweek 29.

“It’s always the same [in terms of checking knocks and niggles] but hopefully everybody [else] is going to be available.” – Nuno Espirito Santo

WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS

Ladislav Krejci returns after serving a one-match ban on Friday.

Hwang Hee-chan (calf) is also back, with Rob Edwards confirming Wolves have a fully fit squad.

“We’re fully fit, so it’s great. We’ve got a a fully fit squad to be able to pick from, which is… I doubt there’s anyone who has that at this stage of the season. So, that’s a real positive.

“Yeah, [that includes Hwang].” – Rob Edwards

BURNLEY

Marcus Edwards (knock) missed out on the seven-goal thriller against Brentford and will be assessed ahead of midweek.

Scott Parker has no other new concerns from Gameweek 28, however.

“We are all good, fitness-wise, really. We will check a little bit more on Marcus [Edwards] leading into this game, but everyone else has come out of the weekend all fine.” – Scott Parker

Armando Broja (unspecified), Axel Tuanzebe (Achilles), Mike Tresor (ankle), Zeki Amdouni (knee), Josh Cullen (knee), Jordan Beyer (hamstring) and Connor Roberts (Achilles) are out.

Depends on Haaland & Wilson injury situation but you look good to go otherwise. If you wanted to take a risk with a -4 hit, you could look to swap Mbuemo for Rayan & then bring in Ekiteke for Mane with Rayan being on the bench and Ekiteke to start.

I did same players in for -4. Couldn't get to Wilson or Dango but happy with Tavernier for now. I took out Rogers & Evanilson.
Wanted Ekitike for his run, possible double & obvious form.

I've had Gudmundsson all season, never started him but he might start this week. Have Chalaboa but this Chelsea defense is a waste of time. No clean sheets. Chalaboah offers zero heading threat nowadays, he used to.

I'm in a similar predicament and originally wanted Wilson for Wirtz this week. Wilson's injury doubt and the fact I won't be online for the press conferences and deadline means I'm weighing up risking transferring him in tonight or going safer with Iwobi.

Think I'd rather Gakpo than Szobo if fancying Liverpool, had him last season and he was decent, has an eye for goal on his day and scored at the weekend. Szobo is the most handsome player in the league and has gorgeous hair too so there is that.

        Gabriel, Hill, Gudmundsson
        Palmer, Bruno, Semenyo, Rayan
        Haaland, Pedro, Thiago

2FT. Do I just roll for another week and see, or go attack something even with a -4 if needed? Haaland and/or Palmer would need to go to do anything drastic, basically nothing itb. Should be upgrading defence somehow but that also feels like a waste of transfer.

        Dubravka
        Timber Gabriel O’Reilley
        Bruno Mbeumo Rice Enzo Semenyo
        Haaland Thiago
        (Verbruggen Alderete Dalot Mane)
        Is Enzo the main issue?
Getting Ekitike seems to require 3FT
        Please help if you can

Nice simple option to be fair mate. Would you say lack of L.Pool would be an issue? Not done any transfers for a weeks and was worried it’s showing

I thinking your main issue ATM is 7 players that are likely to blank in GW31, so at least 4 of those have to go before then to field an 11 (if not using FH). O'Reilly, or Rice if out (if they are not fit this GW) for a player with a fixture in GW31 would be my first move.

I was thinking to FH to preserve player value or is that a mistake if there is a better opportunity to use

I guess I could shift either of those that are injured for potentially VVD or Wilson, would that be a smarter move than shifting Enzo on today?

I think Liverpool spread the points around a lot. You might struggle in gw31 though unless you are using Free hit

Key assets, Wilson, O’Reilly, Haaland, Rice being flagged. How are you guys seeing plan B? Have suboptimal bench come in or transfer out tomorrow already?

If Rice not passed fit, it's an easy transfer to the likes of Tavernier, KDH, Dango Szob etc..

Liverpool have scored the most set-piece goals from January onwards.

Think I'll play WC now to optimize team depth, chasing 70 points in ML with a few differentials. Comments on my draft?

          Raya Darlow
Gabriel VVD Guehi (assuming NOR injured) Senesi Andersen
          Salah Bruno Semenyo Tavernier Wilson
          Ekitike Thiago DCL

Not convinced by Salah over Haaland is the way to go, but if that ML is your main priority I can see why. Other than that the teams look well though out with BGW31 in mind.

          Headline for Coleman Out again.
I am not sure when he was 'In'.
Seems to me that he has been injured for the last 8-10 year.

Havving a disappointing season. Both in FPl and in actual EPL with Forest.

For FPL, I usually play based on fixtures. But this season I have really struggled to guess the resutls. things seem to change very rapidly.
For example, just a few weeks ago Villa would have been a tough fixture for Chelski, but Villa has fallen of the cliff so rapidly.
Again, in recent seasons, newcastle away would have been considered a tough one For ManU. My plan was to sell Boomo (also have Bruno), but Eddie Howe's team has been among hte biggest disappointment this season (along with spurs and Forest).
