There are four more Gameweek 32 press conferences to bring you today, following on from Nuno Espirito Santo’s yesterday.

The managers of Burnley, Fulham, Leeds United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to face the media.

We should hear from the other 15 Premier League managers in some capacity on Friday. Until then, we’ll redirect you to our early team news round-up.

KEY GAMEWEEK 32 TEAM NEWS FROM THURSDAY

THURSDAY’S PRESS CONFERENCE TIMES

LEEDS UNITED

Anton Stach (ankle) and Joe Rodon (ankle) will miss Gameweek 32 and “realistically” won’t be back till May, although Daniel Farke is retaining hope the pair might recover sooner.

Daniel James (adductor) is also sidelined.

“Not the best news today in general. Anton Stach will definitely miss the game on Monday; ankle injury after the cup game. Also, Joe Rodon will miss the game on Monday; also ankle injury for him. Daniel James will also miss the game, he had an adductor strain in the session before the cup game.” – Daniel Farke

“Difficult to say, a ligament injury in the ankle. Also, the same for Joe Rodon. Normally, you would say it’s not realistic for both of them that they will be able to help us in April and we will just have them back in May, but of course, our medical department is trying everything.

“We will try, step by step, day by day, to improve the situation. If they would be able to feature at some point in April, it would be a bonus. Right now, at the moment, realistically, we have to say we will just see them back in May.” – Daniel Farke on whether there’s a timescale for Anton Stach’s injury

Noah Okafor (back), Gabriel Gudmundsson (groin) and Jaka Bijol (knock) are also doubts for Monday but Farke is hopeful that these three will recover for the trip to Old Trafford.

“Jaka Bijol is currently struggling with a knock, he was not in team training yet during this week.

“Noah Okafor, today not in team training, he is struggling with some back problems. Some question marks behind his availability.

“Gabby Gudmundsson has made some progress, he came back with some light groin problems after the international games. He’s making light progress.

“All three of them are doubts. If we were to play the game tomorrow, all three wouldn’t be available. Thank God the game is just on Monday, so we have a bit more time. I’m hopeful that we have all three of them ready for the game.” – Daniel Farke on Daniel Okafor, Gabriel Gudmundsson and Jaka Bijol

FULHAM

The Cottagers’ internationals have all returned unscathed but Marco Silva will be without three players in Gameweek 32.

Kevin (foot) and Kenny Tete (foot), sidelined before the break, are still out.

Harrison Reed joins the injury list, too, after picking up a knock to his knee.

“Not many news from the internationals.

“The players that are going to be out… of course, with another session tomorrow, but the players that right now I can say are going to be out are Kenny, Kevin and Harrison Reed.” – Marco Silva

Kevin is back running but it’s still touch and go whether he features again this season.

“Let’s see. He is very positive but of course, we have to go step by step.

“Right now, I’m not sure about it.” – Marco Silva on whether Kevin will feature again this season

Silva’s comments above suggest that Calvin Bassey is over the minor back issue that forced him out of the Nigeria squad.

BURNLEY

Josh Laurent serves a one-match ban after his sending off at Fulham last time out.

Hannibal Mejbri hobbled out of that match with a hamstring injury, subsequently withdrawing from the Tunisia squad, and he’ll miss Gameweek 32, too.

“He’s probably a couple of weeks away. It wasn’t as bad as we initially thought, but there’s certainly a little issue there. That’s one that will take a little while longer.” – Scott Parker on Hannibal Mejbri

Long-term absentee Zeki Amdouni (knee) is back in “modified training” but is still likely a couple of weeks away from a playing comeback.

Josh Cullen (knee), Connor Roberts (Achilles) and Jordan Beyer (hamstring) also remain out but Axel Tuanzebe (Achilles) returned to action with DR Congo over the break.

“I’m hoping [he’s fit]. He’s come back. He’s not played a lot of football and he’s gone away and played 120 minutes. He’s come back in late, as well, so we’ll see obviously leading into this game. I’ll see how I see him and whether he’s selectable or not.” – Scott Parker on Axel Tuanzebe

“Amdouni is probably getting a little bit closer now. He’s with us on the grass, albeit a little bit modified, but he’s with us and I suspect it will maybe be another couple of weeks with Zeki before we see him.

“The long term ones, Beyer: no. Connor Roberts: no, he’s still a little way off.” – Scott Parker

Mike Tresor (ankle) has also been back in training for about a month now.

“Mikey [Tresor] has progressed more now. A few more weeks in training.” – Scott Parker

WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS

Sam Johnstone (shoulder) and Matt Doherty (niggle) are Wolves’ only absentees for the Gameweek 32 curtain-raiser on Friday.

Rob Edwards later added that Johnstone could “potentially” be out for the season.

The Wolves boss also confirmed that all of his internationals have returned unscathed.

“A fully fit group, other than Sam’s shoulder issue. Sam won’t be available. Doc’s got a little bit of a niggle. He won’t be available for this one but should be alright for Leeds [in Gameweek 33].” – Rob Edwards

Fingers crossed Farke confirms Stach will be back for Wolves

His ankle swelled up like a balloon, it didn't look good in the photo he posted.

I'm hoping for positive Rodon news at least.

(I should say the prognosis is much better for Bijol, and he could even be fit for GW32, let alone DGW33)

Thanks. I'm actually looking at a triple up with Darlow, Struijk, Bijol so that helps. Although if they're down to their bare bones maybe Van Hecke + a double up is better...

          Raya
          Virgil, Gabriel Thiaw
          Dango, Bruno (c), Gordon, Anderson
          Ekitike, Thiago, Haaland

          Dubravka, Hill, Wilson, Andersen
          4ft 2.3 itb

          Current rank 3k, chips left - WC,BB,FH

Feel like this is an important decision this week. Would you:

          A) WC this team to set up BB in GW 33?

          B) Or would you FH in 33?

Think my team is well set up for blank GW 34.

Any advice here would be appreciated.

No WC now, as BB upside vs 32/34 low. Save BB for DGW 36. Consider FT Ekitike for Bowen? (Dango vs Wilson is an interesting debate too). Nice team

Cheers. I agree it does feel wasteful to WC now as my team is well set up for this GW.

I like the Bowen move. I've also considered Dango to Semenyo.

          On a standard GW32 WC / BB33 strategy.

Currently set-up with 12 doublers plus Bruno, Gabriel and Rice.

Is it worth holding Rice one more week given the fixtures or get Palmer in now and save the FT...? I have 3.6m ITB ready.

I have 2 FT's banked. Such a tight call! If Palmer were to get knocked I've nowhere to go for Chelsea mid.

            Why would you BB that?

Darlow (WOL bou), Fernandes (che), Gabriel (mcy), Rice (mcy)

            That's terrible.

              Rice becomes Palmer.

Bruno plays every week he's not a bench player, as is Gab.

So my 'no messing about actual bench' is Darlow Tavernier Hill Justin as they are my cheapest players and have replaced Sanchez Mane Alderete and Anderson.

With a Haaland Bruno Palmer team that's all I can get to.

              Counterpoint.
              - Chelsea is pretty leaky, and Bruno is on a heater. That one doesn't bother me.
              - Darlow has a double, and I doubt there will be meaningfully better fixtures than that if he's your second GK. He's got Burnley later, for sure, but they score random goals.
              - Gabriel versus MCI is tough, for sure, but if you're BB in another week, he's starting, and you're looking at some mediocre-to-crappy defender against someone else. Gabriel can pilfer a goal and get defcons against anyone.
              - Don't love Rice against MCI.

You could hold off on the bench boost until, say, week 35, but then your bench is something like Tavenier vs. Palace (H), Van Hecke at Newcastle, Darlow v. BUR or Verbruggen away to Newcastle, etc. So do you think single-game week studs, like Bruno and Gabriel and Rice, with toughish matchups outscore scrubs against mediocre matchups? I don't know. I sorta prefer BB33 in that context.

I prefer the fixtures on Darlow vs BUR and Tavernier vs CPL personally for a BB over Bruno (che) and Gabriel (mcy) but yeah I see what you're saying.

Similar here. Had to WC32 as to get Haaland back I needed 3 FT's before anything else. I kept Rice and Gab expecting Arsenal to be involved and sold my City! Just weighing up whether to give Rice one more week or get Palmer now...

            BB33, FH34, TC36.

My picks so far, I am maxed when/if I get Palmer in

Have a decent team for 32 and all chips intact. Best path forward?

          A: WC32, BB33, FH34, TC36
          B: WC33, FH34, BB35, TC36

Bench in BB35 will contain Darlow, Richards, Bijol, Sarr. And can't get to Palmer either in B.

So happy to ignore the game at this point.

Especially when people have been able to play their squads in 2026 without a need for a wildcard

It's actually the opposite, people are forcing the wildcard play with games rapidly running out.

The sheep triple captained a centre back in gameweek 26

Yes Gabriel is the best defender football has ever seen but he’s still a defender

I have all my chips left, so I have to use the wildcard this week

If you have good team for GW 32 & 10 Players to play GW 34
          SO it's better to

          A- FH GW 33 / WC GW 35/ BB 36 or Later

B- WC This GW /BB GW 33/ FH GW 34

Really cracking my head between the two chip strategies as everyone:

            Current team

            Pickford
            Gabriel, Virgil, Anderson, Thiaw
            Gordon, Bruno F, Wilson, Semenyo
            Haaland, Thiago

            dubravka, senesi, dewsbury-hall, marc guiu

had 1 free transfer, activated wc to buy semenyo for mbeumo ahead of price changes (stupid) then deactivated my wc and now have 0 ft (double stupid). 2.8 ITB for future transfers

I have wc, ft and bb left for the chips available and wondering between wc 32, bb 33, fh 34 versus fh33, wc 35 and bb 36 like everybody else.

Leaning towards the latter but can't justify it for some reason. I am on top of my league with 22 points difference with #2 and he does not have his wc and tc available.
Need to increase the gap. Any suggestions would be lovely

current wc32 would look something like:
            verbruggen, darlow
gabriel, senesi, van hecke, hill, o'reilly
semenyo, palmer, casemiro, bruno F, groB (trying to squeeze in sarr maybe for dgw36)
            JP, haaland, DCL

For some stupid reason I activated my WC and later realised I shouldn't. Only 1 FT and low TV mean I should keep some arsenal assets + Bruno. Not much of a BB with only one doubler.

            A: Go all in for BB33, FH34, TC36
B: Adjust for FH33, BB36 and TC in SGW.
            C: TC33, FH34, BB36

Haaland TC in both A and C.

Chasing so don't mind to switch it up.

The Wildcard cannot be cancelled if you have made 2 or more transfers this Gameweek. Once the chip status has changed from “Pending” to “Active”, the activation cannot be cancelled or reversed.

I had to wildcard too, deadended and needed to get Haaland and Nico back

It's not ideal but you can flex the rest of your BB options.

I'm basically playing Arsenal against Bournemouth then benching them in 33 for Darlow and Pascal Struijk etc.

It works, you just need Spurs and Chelsea to score against BHA to see out BB33.

Or favour Leeds and Bournemouth defenders if BB33.

The Brighton pick is tempting to many because of Burnley away first up and people on these pages will play into the immediate fixture run. Brighton do have better fixtures than Bournemouth, but not if you look at Gw35 BB.

The 8th attacker is a bit of a challenge in BB35. It rules out Everton options but there's Villa and others with a good fixture then.

Can always swap a couple of players after FH34 too.

Trying to choose enough doublers from these crap DGW teams is a bit of a pain.

I don't mind Senesi+Hill+Van Heck as they are all DC monsters, so would return most of the time anyway. Welbeck is in good form but its mainly just a 'will he manage the minutes' question, but I don't mind him.

Tavernier is alright but he's mostly all good stats and no output. Maybe the xGI will turn into goals but it may continue to just ... not

Then I don't want anything to do with a very weakened Leeds team and the less said about Burnley the better.

End up with Darlow+Dubravka+Hinshelwood to make up the numbers...

Actually Ampadu as a DC magnet which then allows Darlow to Verbruggen makes a slightly more rounded team. In theory he'll be having to cover more ground for the Leeds players who are missing which may bump up the DC numbers, which have already been very good recently.

I think you need to decide who is more likely to get a clean sheet in 33

Brighton at Spurs then Chelsea or Bournemouth home to a depleted Leeds?

I don't mind the Leeds defense tho, hope for a 0-0 at Bournemouth?

I'm not banking on any of these teams getting cleansheets which is why I'm focusing on DC points.

I think the answer is don't go full in on doublers.

3 City, Palmer, Joao Pedro, Senesi+Hill+Van Heck, a second keeper (Darlow or Dubravka), and a punt on a fifth mid (I like Hinshelwood) gives you 10 doubles (and 5 GW'ers which should be enough to give you a strong team this GW as well), which is only one less doubler than those using FH next will have next GW, and those using BB in GW35 will only have single GW's on the bench like you this GW.

              Probably B

But I'm sort of tempted to use it in Gw33

Man City have to beat Arsenal then the bonus going up to the Pennine Lancashire hills for the Burnley match

              I don't mind that

The sensible choice is to wait

            FH33 / WC35 / BB36
With only 1FT and taking into account BGW34, which is my best move?

            A) Eketike > Bowen
            B) J. Pedro > Bowen
            C) Enzo > Mbeumo

My main concern with B is that Eketike might not start this GW and my only playable bench is Hill
