NOTES
- Gameweek 9 is a huge double, and my current plan is to attack it with the Rich Uncle chip. However, I haven’t activated it just yet, as I want to wait for Brann’s lineup first. Any major surprises there could still be enough to make me hold off on using the chip. The screenshot shows the 11 players I’m currently planning to start in my Rich Uncle squad.
- Bodø/Glimt, Lillestrøm and Brann all have doubles alongside strong fixtures, so I’m targeting a triple-up from each side. The final two spots are currently occupied by the Viking duo of Zlatko Tripić and Peter Christiansen. Neither has a double, but a home fixture against Start still gives them plenty of appeal.
- Whenever Bodø/Glimt have a double, Kasper Høgh is always a very reasonable captaincy option, and at the moment he has the armband in my team. That said, there are several strong DGW candidates this week, so it feels like one of those rounds where going against the template captain could easily pay off.
- One player who really stands out as an alternative captain is Joachim Soltvedt. His minutes are always a concern, but the news that Denzel de Roeve is expected to miss both matches certainly improves Soltvedt’s chances of starting twice. Because of that, there’s still a possibility I switch the captaincy away from Høgh before the deadline.
- It’s also worth keeping an eye on Gameweek 11, which could become a blank for Rosenborg, Bodø/Glimt, Lillestrøm and Viking because of the World Cup schedule. Managers who are well set up for Gameweek 9 but less prepared for Gameweek 11 may prefer to save the Rich Uncle chip for later instead.

NOTES
- As planned, the Rich Uncle chip is active this week. The squad is built around the key double Gameweek players, and most of the team feels locked in. My biggest doubts are in goal and the two midfield spots currently held by Felix Va and Felix Horn Myhre. I’m also very tempted by Patrick Berg, who could still make his way into the final draft before the deadline.
- Right now, the captaincy is on Markus Karlsbakk. He takes penalties and has two strong home fixtures this week. That combination makes him one of the standout captaincy options in Gameweek 9.

NOTES
- I’ve activated the Rich Uncle chip this round, which gives me an unlimited budget for one Gameweek only.
- In attack, I’ve backed Kasper Høgh and Peter Christiansen. Both have been reliable goalscorers so far this season, with three and four goals respectively.
- Midfield is where I’ve invested heavily, with five players included. That setup features a double-up from Brann, who have found strong form in recent weeks after a slow start to the campaign.
- At the back, I’ve gone with a double Lillestrøm defence. They already have four clean sheets this season and continue to look one of the strongest defensive units in the league.
