GAMEWEEK 37 CLEAN SHEET PROJECTIONS

SUMMARY

Once again, Arsenal sit at the top of our projections graphic. The Gunners are, by a distance, the likeliest side to keep a clean sheet in Gameweek 37. They face an already-relegated Burnley side that ranks among the league’s lowest scorers this season.

Everton are the only other team with at least a 40% chance of keeping a shutout. David Moyes’ side have managed just one clean sheet across their previous five league matches, but a home clash against Sunderland could provide the perfect opportunity to improve that record. The Black Cats have scored just once across their last three outings, as well as just 14 times in 18 away games.

Completing the top four are Manchester United and Brentford. Michael Carrick’s side face Nottingham Forest, who now – a bit like United – have little to play for. Brentford also rank highly, up against a Crystal Palace side who haven’t scored in four of their last seven league fixtures.

Interestingly, Manchester City sit further down the list this week. Pep Guardiola’s side head into the Bournemouth fixture after back-to-back league clean sheets, but this is far from an easy test. Andoni Iraola’s men remain unbeaten in the league since the start of January and continue to impress from an attacking perspective.

Alongside Fulham, Brighton and Hove Albion complete the top six of the clean sheet table. Opponents Leeds United have already secured survival, while Albion still have plenty to play for as they continue pushing towards European qualification.
