- For the second consecutive week, a Juventus injury has forced my hand in the transfer market. This time, Andrea Cambiaso looks set to leave my team.
- I’m undecided between bringing in a Como or Napoli defender. Como have the better short-term fixtures, while Napoli’s schedule improves in a couple of weeks.
- I’m currently leaning towards Napoli, as I don’t need all five defenders to be selectable this week. That also makes rolling the transfer an option. Doing so would leave me with two transfers after the Champions League matches in midweek.

- Edoardo Corvi starts in goal at home to Monza ahead of Christos Mandas at Udinese. Lazio have kept two clean sheets from two, but I’m simply playing the fixture this week.
- I’m starting with a back three of Federico Dimarco, Bremer and Radu Drăgușin. The fixtures aren’t great, but there isn’t a defender I urgently want to bring in. I’m happy to remain patient with Drăgușin, as I expect Fiorentina to improve.
- My midfield five looks good this week. Nico Paz, Hakan Calhanoglu, Mattia Zaccagni, El Bilal Touré and Arthur Atta all have decent fixtures and good points potential.
- Lautaro Martinez and Donyell Malen remain up front. I’m planning to roll the transfer, while Paz currently has the captaincy.

- In hindsight, I should have moved away from Lautaro Martinez last week. However, he had a decent fixture, so keeping him wasn’t a terrible decision. With his value dropping daily, moving him out this week feels like a no-brainer.
- Donyell Malen comes in after scoring five goals in two games for Roma. My team scored 60 points in Gameweek 2, only just above average. The defence carried me again, with three clean sheets and an assist from the backline. I also had an assist from Amir Rrahmani on the bench.
- Jean Butez remains my number one goalkeeper. Como have strengthened with Robert Sanchez from Chelsea. I can’t see Butez losing his position, but we’ll have to see what Cesc Fabregas does. Filip Stankovic of Lecce remains my back-up.
- In defence, Federico Dimarco, Bremer, Gianluca Mancini and Rrahmani all start. Rrahmani returns to my XI after his assist against Como. Radu Drăgușin drops to the bench after Fiorentina lost to newly promoted Frosinone, conceding three times. Nico Paz keeps his spot in midfield, while Andy Diouf also starts despite being an unused substitute last week. I expect Inter to rotate with a Champions League game against Real Madrid on the horizon. Samuel Chukwueze keeps his place, while teammate Alphadjo Cissè drops to the bench. Franco Mastantuono gets one more chance, but I’ll be looking to move away from him until Fiorentina improve.
- Up front, Gonçalo Ramos starts alongside Malen, while Artem Dovbyk remains on the bench. Malen gets the captaincy for Gameweek 3, with Paz as vice-captain.

- After another decent Gameweek, my plan doesn’t really change. Unfortunately, I missed the price changes, which move really quickly in this game, so I couldn’t afford Francisco Conceição.
- I brought in Jeremie Boga instead, although I wasn’t completely convinced by him. It was another low-scoring week. I could have had a full backline of clean sheets, but Andrea Cambiaso was unfortunately benched again.
- My current plan is to roll the free transfer, although I could sell Cambiaso to avoid any further price drops. If I do make the move, a Como defender is my preferred replacement. Jacobo Ramon currently appeals most because of his minutes.
