Goals + assists imminent! Who is ‘due’ in FPL Gameweek 4?

Instead of using Gameweek 4 transfers on whoever has just hauled, try buying the next trend. In ‘Goals Imminent’, we look at the underlying statistics to predict which players are about to score.

That way, Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers can be proactive rather than reactive.

Marc and Joe have a regular Fantasy Football Scout podcast that discusses these underachievers, using the latter’s popular data table.

The first table shows players who’ve had at least seven shots over the first three Gameweeks, but no more than one goal.

    Really struggling to land on a GK and 3rd/4th defender option on wc (see earlier post where my A-D options scored one a piece!)

    Which GK would you pick to play every week for the foreseeable? Ie which defence do you back the most

    A) Kinsky
    B) Verbruggen
    C) Trafford
    D) hornicek

      for 4.5 I'd probably stick with Kinsky. 5 I'd be on Hornicek or maybe even Martinez, Chelsea surely must learn how to defend...!

      One factor to consider is there may be better long term defender options over GK from each team e.g. Hall/Thiaw over Hornicek, Muharemovic over Trafford etc

        Thanks All. That's the thing, it could go either way, bookies have it odds on to me more than 2.5 goals and with their respective defences you would expect some goals

    wow people seem to be really writing off Hull on here after zero conceded. wouldn't suprise me if the man u derby had more goals both those defences look poor (city should have conceded at least four more goals in terms of Xg)
