After looking at the best clean sheet odds, we now turn our attention to projected team goals for Gameweek 5.
Using the projections from our Fixture Ticker, we can identify which Premier League attacks have the greatest scoring potential in the upcoming round.

PROJECTED TEAM GOALS FOR GAMEWEEK 5
SUMMARY
Manchester City sit comfortably above every other side for projected goals this week, with 2.44. A home meeting with Sunderland gives them a good opportunity to continue their strong start. However, the Black Cats have kept three clean sheets in six matches across all competitions, so it may not be as straightforward as it looks.
Newcastle United are the only other side projected to score more than two goals. The Magpies have been hit and miss so far, but a home clash with Hull City could provide the perfect opportunity to get back on track.
Several other teams rank highly this week, with an unusually large number posting strong projections. Nottingham Forest are one side we don’t often see this high up the list. They host a Coventry City team still searching for their first win, and in the bottom three for goals conceded and xG conceded.
Liverpool complete the top four with 1.76 projected goals. They travel to Bournemouth, who have conceded at least twice in three of their first five matches across all competitions. The Cherries are still without a Premier League clean sheet, too.
Everton aren’t far behind. The Toffees haven’t completely convinced in attack, but David Moyes’ side now face promoted Ipswich Town. Their opponents have impressed in some respects but continue to look vulnerable defensively, conceding on 10 occasions and failing to keep a clean sheet.
Four other sides are projected to score more than 1.50 goals. Manchester United face Fulham, Arsenal take on in-form Brighton and Tottenham Hotspur meet Aston Villa, while Chelsea travel to Brentford.
LOOKING AHEAD
Across the next six Gameweeks, Manchester City lead the attacking projections, with particularly favourable fixtures against Sunderland, Ipswich Town and Brighton.
Arsenal also have an excellent run, including Leeds United, Everton and Hull City.
Chelsea rank strongly throughout without one major standout fixture.
Manchester United and Liverpool offer more mixed schedules, while Newcastle’s best attacking opportunity comes immediately against Hull before their projections drop off.
