With the last international break of the season now behind us, our Friday lunchtime analysis of the PlayON Player Price List arrives once again. As always, we offer a couple of picks per position: one essential weekend target and a left-field alternative for your consideration.

PlayON are now running a number of different deadlines so Fantasy managers can have as much benefit of seeing teamsheets as possible. Tomorrow, for example, managers can pick teams for the weekly game (which includes all ten matches on Saturday, Sunday and Monday) and the single match game (for the Arsenal versus Liverpool match) up to 12.45.

Managers can pick teams for all the 15.00 & 17.30 kick-offs up to 15.00 tomorrow. Their Daily game on Sunday, which includes two matches, has a deadline of 13.30. There’s free entry tournaments and guaranteed pots in all games so plenty for Fantasy managers to take advantage of – you can pick up to three different teams for each game now at www.PlayON.co

Goalkeepers – Boaz Myhill
A season-ending injury to Ben Foster brings the Welshman onto the radar as a bargain route into West Brom’s defence. Priced at just 5.5m, Myhill ended the previous Gameweek as the top scoring goalkeeper in PlayON by almost 1000 points due to a 2600 point haul away to City – despite conceding three times, he registered 13 saves at the Etihad. The Baggies have four clean sheets in five matches at the Hawthorns under Tony Pulis and welcome a QPR side that have struggled for results away from Loftus Road, suggesting Myhill –who is owned by 23% of PlayON managers – could bring home the points again. For those willing to spend a bit more between the posts, we’ve gone for David De Gea (8.0m). The 12%-owned Spaniard has conceded just once in four matches, with three consecutive shut-outs before Daniel Sturridge’s strike at Anfield, and Man United host an Aston Villa side that have scored a single goal in their last three visits to Old Trafford.

Defenders – Kyle Naughton
Swansea will fancy their chances of a clean sheet this weekend, bearing in mind that visitors Hull side have only found the net once in five away matches. Available for 6.2m in PlayON this week, Naughton (26% ownership) is the cheapest route into a backline that have already registered 11 shut-outs this term. Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea have also been less resilient than usual at home, conceding in three of their last four. Branislav Ivanovic (21% owned) requires a considerable outlay of 9.5m but the right-back does offer potential at both ends of the pitch and has served up a goal and an assist over the last two in front of his own fans. The Blues welcome a Stoke side that has failed to score in each of their last seven visits to the Bridge and arrive on the back of successive losses to West Brom and Palace.

Midfielders – Marouane Fellaini
Juan Mata’s man of the match performance at Anfield has brought the Spaniard onto our radars but at 11.6m, he’s a little too pricey for our liking. Coming in at just 8.4m for the visit of Villa, Fellaini appears to be a safer option. Serving up a goal and an assist in his last home appearance, the Belgian continued his form with three strikes over the international break and his role in the central midfield three should also see the 28%-owned benefit from the PlayON scoring matrix, which favours defensive contributions. With Sergio Aguero still struggling for form, we’ve turned to David Silva (13.2m, 31% owned) for Man City’s trip to Crystal Palace. The Spaniard scored against West Brom in the previous Gameweek and his tally of seven shots on target (worth 200 points in PlayON) in three matches is indicative of his flourishing displays for the champions.

Forwards –Saido Berahino
Passed fit by Tony Pulis earlier today, the Baggies striker has three goals in six for the Baggies and clearly favours home comforts, with 15 of his 18 goals in the league and cup arriving at the Hawthorns. West Brom host a QPR side that have conceded at least twice in all but two of their 14 away trips, suggesting that Berahino (8.8m, 2% ownership) could be set to extend his impressive home record. Harry Kane (8.6m) is unsurprisingly the most popular player in PlayON with over 52% of teams so far including the Englishman after he took his tally to 14 goals in 11 matches with a hat-trick against Leicester. Kane pays visit to a Burnley side with a single shut-out in the last 14 Gameweeks and looks poised to continue his remarkable breakthrough season.

Head over to www.PlayON.co to get your teams in for the free entry and guaranteed pot games.

      Hi killian,

See this week for the daily Saturday game, you have extended the deadline so we can submit teams after watching the team news, right?

Wouldn't it have been better if you did that for the main weekly game as well? Sure it would entail excluding the ArsLiv game but it would have made it a lot easier to make teams.

        Hi Mr. Anderson,

In addition to the weekly game which includes all matches and hence, has a team picking deadline of the first kick-off each week, we are creating different games for the different team picking deadlines so people can enter these other games with the benefit of seeing the teamsheets. We ran a test week where we excluded the 12.45 kick-off for the weekly game but we feel there should be at least one game where you can select a team from all players in all teams. Thanks for the feedback though

I know price changes matter very little at this stage, but whether Austin rises or not does to me as I need the exact money to do Austin>Costa next week!

Last night he was 150% on Fix...and didn't rise. He's now 170%. Is there anything stopping him? Do you expect him to rise tonight?

I currently have the front 3 of Aguero, Costa and Kane however I am 43 pts behind the leader of my cash ML and he has got Giroud, Kane, Costa as his front 3

however I am trying to cut his lead by bringing in Benteke as my DGWer

but my dilemma is who should I take out for Benteke

    Costa or Aguero

I'm thinking Costa at the mo because I have a feeling that Jose will rest him against Stoke and QPR
and then buy him back in time for GW33

Any ideas about this plan would be appreciated

It's true, everyone (just about) has the same front 7 this GW.

Mix it up with Hazard (C)?

    1. Pasqualinho
      • 16 Years
      10 years, 9 months ago

Everyone seems to have 5 or 6 of the popular 7 - I'm not sure there are as many with the exact same 7 as people on here seem to think. So I wouldn't really advise punting on a captain just to be different.

Is Austin (C) even different enough? Not sure everyone is going for him.

Kane seems to be most popular on here. Austin will also be popular - I think it'll be close between the two in the Top 10k - Hazard will be well represented too but I think he'll be in 3rd.

    Hello guys, any advice appreciated on this team;

    Panti, (Krul)

    Schlupp, Naughton, PVA, (Bertrand, Dawson*)

    Sánchez, Hazard, Silva, Eriksen, (Ameobi)

    Agüero, Giroud, Kane

    2FT, £0,3m ITB

Have no idea how to use the transfer(s)...
Maybe remove Dawson already, as his fixtures turn nasty in a short while?
Sell Giroud or Sánchez already for a DGW-player, while preparing for Arsenals blank?
Give up on Agüero for Benteke maybe?
    I'm lost...

    1. AlCapwnUK
      • 11 Years

      I'd play Bertie over Schlupp.

Could get Austin or Tekkers in for Giroud - what with a blank followed by Chelsea coming up?

Yeah, it's a possibility. But then the question is; will Benteke/Austin outscore Giroud over the next two GWs? I will not be able to sell Benteke/Austin before next gameweek, as the only one I want to buy will be Costa - not gonna be able to buy him before I sell Sánchez (which I have planned before GW33).

eed some help lads. 2FT and £1.4m in the bank. Ideas for this week, and what to do with Austin next week after the DGW? I have my WC that I plan to use in GW34.

    Myhill
    Bellerin Clichy Ivanovic
    Hazard Eriksen Silva Cazorla
    Kane Austin Aguero

Bench - (Foster) Clyne, Ameobi, Dawson

    Some ideas I've had:

    A. Clichy>Naughton
    Caz>Siggy this week
    then:
Austin>Costa next week (exact money only if Austin rises!)

    B. Bellerin>Naughton and then reasses next week with 2FT

    Thoughts?
