Three middle-aged beards collide to talk Fantasy Football. Hipsters? Sadly, as Jonty so rightly points out, we bear a closer resemblance to a trio of David Brents.

A clean-shaven Ryan joins us to complete the quartet and boost the credibility: the Kiwi contributor wakes fresh and ready for action to mull over the Gameweek gone, the week’s transfer bandwagons and to look forward to the weekend’s action.

Around those regulars, we brace ourselves for the latest bout of quizzing from you, the community. We tackle the potential of the Palace form guys and the unlikely contribution from Hull and Leicester, as we cast an early eye on the looming double Gameweek.

The ScoutCast was beamed out live on Wednesday via a Google Hangout and you can view the full video recording on the player below.

Alternatively, for the polished, low-fat audio version can be found via this link or the first player.

Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel and Google Plus page to keep informed of when future ScoutCast hit the screen.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Morning guys. seems I missed the Southamoton presser yesterday did I? Any word on Mane being benched and Clyne starting?

Eek that is a close one. I think I'd hang on to Clyne.

Ramsey & Giroud > Murray & Fabregas this week?

Have a 78 pt lead on my group and this would help me field XI this week and then I would have 5 double gameweekers for the following game week.

What would you do if you had $300 on the line? I'm digging it except for the price I'll lose on Giroud

    Much appreciated

Fine with those transfers if it gets you to 11 for the weekend, Rushmore.

If you can afford to buy Giroud back again then maybe - but it looks a bit short sighted to me.

I mean he has a bye week and Chelski following.. I think its a bit too far sighted if I keep him for two bad gw's with only 6 weeks left. Don't you think?

Chances of JWP playing this GW?

Got the 45 minutes last week and managed to sink a penalty ... just not sure that bodes well for a start this week.

A -4 hit for the usual suspects to get 11 on the park might be in order.

    1. Walsh
      • 12 Years
      10 years, 8 months ago

I'd probably just start JWP instead of taking a hit. Most likely whomever you bring in will get 2 points and JWP worst case will get 1 point for an appearance.

I don't see much threat coming from the stoke side of town, IMO. Both Stoke and Newcastle pose a mediocre attack, have abysmal stats with only 3 big chances in the last four, and Stoke without their best creative outlet in Moses. So, in tandem they face similar opposition.

Going off that logic, I'd trust a Saints defense 10x over a lackluster Spurs defense w/o Lloris. Even if Saints are away IMO.

          It's a 50/50 call if you go off H/a

Would just do Sanchez and Giroud out, IMO.
Would play Morgan, Ivan, and Bert and it's a backline that'll suffice for the week. So no need for a defensive trannie here to be honest.

if you are wc next week then 2 of

      Sanchez to Bolaise
      Giroud to Murray/Vardy
      Bellerin to Eve defender

Well, he did bench him when he was late to the LIV game…
We could say that was his first, now with the second might be different...

Yeah but I can understand that, you have to turn up on time if you expect to start. I just feel that speaking out against one of your own players so publicly is quite a big deal. To bench him would emphasis it even more and suddenly the papers will start talking about rifts and all sorts.

Oh for sure, if you can do that, it'd be ideal.
Just know that with Ibe back, and his ability to play RWb, it's good for Sterling.
Plus the possibility of a 433, is great for Sterling. There's probably more upside for Sterling in theory, would ideally get both though IMO Zan.

      Going a -4. Will mean-

      Hazard Fabregas Ivan
      Huth
      Mingolet Sterling

Only other i would really want is Henderson. For a minus 8, its too much. Its not only the points he will gain but think about the points the player you drop will score too.

        Silva, Eriksen, Hazard, Siggy
        MURRAY, Aguero, Kane.

        Subs. (Myhill), Rose, Boyd

Keeping Giroud is a good option because it enables you to stack up on Chelsea and Liverpool midfielders for the DGW. You'd probably keep Silva as your 5th mid.

352 would be the way to go for the DGW considering there are no viable forwards from Liverpool or Chelsea

A little context here would help, IMO. Team?

      Cheers all.
If I keep Giroud I ll have to switch out Siggy or Rose maybe to get in Baines/Bolasie.

      Going to go with Baines/Murray.
I can get Giroud back in with the WC if need be.

      Thanks again.

Hello DZ. Some thoughts on the options below? 1 week punt, WCing in 34.

    A) Naughton > Baines, play 4-3-3
    B) Sanchez > Silva, play 3-4-3

DEF and MID at the moment

    Myhill
    Dawson Clyne Ivanovic
    Mane Eriksen Hazard

That's a tricky one. Both could be good but I think I'd go for Silva - Burnley are still fighting whereas West Ham seem to have given up for the season. City have plenty to prove and need to win to get that automatic CL spot.

Nicely done on the Scoutcast, Ryan. You make an excellent representative for the DZ, hopefully they'll have you back on sometime again.

    1FT 0.0 ITB no WC

    Heaton (Panti)
    Terry Wollschied Bertrand (Moreno Hutton)
Hazard (vc) Eriksen Mane Boyd (Sanchez)
    Aguero (c) Kane Remy*

    A) Good 2 Go and save FT for DGW

    or

    B) Use FT incase Remy is unavailable....any suggestions welcome?

Would just keep Remy in your case, and hope for the best. Think keeping DGW assets at this point is essential, trannies are precious.

What are your transfers going to be next week? Bring one forward if you can.

At the moment, the plan is Eriksen & Mane for Hendo & Coutinho.

Would have Chelsea x3 & Pool x3 then for the DGW?

No point in doing that now as Pool don't play this week 🙁

Quiet in here. Everyone saving their transfers for team news?

Personally bit the bullet and went Sanchez to Cesc last night. Allows Eriksen & Naughton to Sterling and Skrtel next round for free. Sound good?

Based on that attempt at a sentence I can only assume you have been on some kind of fear and loathing in Las Vegas escapade and are struggling to pull the pieces back together

Hope you ok and can get it sorted, hoh. The sledge on your sentence was an auto-triggered response due to you being part of the Aussie team 🙂
