I find it quite baffling how Rodgers, the players and even sky were literally begging a gerrard goal. Rodgers pushing him up front in a desperate attempt to get him a goal all the while completely ruining the shape of the team, the players diddling around trying to find gerrard with every opportunity and sky commentators and pundits going on about "the fairytale ending" and counting down how many minutes left for gerrard to save the day.

He's been livepool's best player for years and so they made a big fuss. United were blessed with all those homegrown players. Scholes and giggs were great but didn't have to carry the team in the same way.

I brought in Schmeichel + Morgan for GW34 on my WC. I've played Schmeichel for 3 weeks and Morgan for 4 weeks. In that time, Schmeichel's got me 27 points and Morgan 34 - that's a combined total of 61 points. That's a decent Gameweek score in itself across 3/4 weeks.
I've never really had any luck with clean sheets, apart from the obvious ones, like Chelsea. But with these Leicester lads, they've made me a very happy manager! Likely to have one of these at the beginning of next year, if priced right and Leicester have decent fixtures.Double Leicester defense GW34-36 and double Sunderland defense GW37 has been an amazing ride for me too.
