United and QPR have worries over their first-choice stoppers as we assess the weekend’s new injury concerns for the final time this season. It’s fair to say that, this time round, the injuries have been kept to a minimum.

Aston Villa
Kieran Richardson missed Villa’s 6-1 thrashing at Southampton due to a calf complaint.

Man United
David de Gea was replaced during this afternoon’s draw with Arsenal after sustaining a hip injury.

QPR
Rob Green was forced off with a head knock after colliding with team-mate Joey Barton during the R’s home win over Newcastle.

Sunderland
Billy Jones was replaced late on in the Black Cats’ goalless draw with Leicester due to a muscle problem.

Swansea
Ki Sung-Yeung missed Swansea’s home clash with City after undergoing minor knee surgery in time to be fit for the start of next season.

West Ham
James Collins was withdrawn early on against Everton due to a leg problem, the Hammers have confirmed. Kevin Nolan missed out due to a family bereavement.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Bad times ..when a Sunderland defender scores more points than all 3 of my Arsenal players.. Not ideal

I am not sure if I see it changing either...

Sunderland will sit with 11 behind the ball against Arsenal. I foresee a cleansheet or just 1 conceded for Sunderland.

            Agreed,

And Panti CS will inherently involve 3bps + 2 save points.

It's basically points neutral. Pretty much anyone still playing has 8 pts from their 3 (or a dizzy 9 pts with Ospina)

krul assist was much welcome, he was 'due'. Best thing about the season ending will be not having krul as my only playing keeper

5 green arrows in last 6 GWs (GW36 dropped 900) peaking at the right time of the season! Holding top of my cash ML just! Will all come down to final GW

Current rank 7.4k is 5k possible? Anyone got the points v rank table?

Cheers, I briefly considered this. I'm worried that Hull (A) could be a tough fixture since Hull need a win to have a chance of staying up. I suppose the reverse is that it forces them to come out and play a little in the second half. A little concerned that united aren't exactly free scoring recently.

Thoughts on Ramsey -> Siggy as another option?

What did we learn today from the arsenal performance?

Cazorla looks badly in need of a rest.

    Walcott needs a start

Sanchez was quoted just after half time at not being 100%

    My predicted team for wed

    Ospina
    Bellerin mert kos gibbs
    Flamini ramsey
    Walcott ozil sanchez
    Giroud

Welbeck to play 30 mins for giroud.

If this happens, I can see Alan Pardew turning up to Newcastle's first championship game with a VERY smug smile on his face...

Ridiculous fans lambasting the guy to the point he had to leave. I don't think they'd be in this position if they had kept him!

He's been laughing since he agreed to go to a much better paid job, nearer his family and at a club where he was rated as a player. He's gone on record as saying that his taking the Palace job was nothing to do with the Newcastle fans, but he's got to be feeling a bit smug now.

I really really really need clean sheets from Chelsea & Sunderland...

If they both get CS's i'll close down my rivals 49pt lead to about 20 points.

Anything extra from Hazard/Koscielney (over Bellarin) is gravy!

It'd be grossly unfair if I was to catch him as GW1-GW37 he has led haha

I have 3 defenders from those team that he doesn't.

I assume 2bps or save points will come with that...

So if the cleanies come, so should the points.

Agree that the clean sheets is a big ask though.

I dont think so. Theyre pretty uncommon and basically your keepers only chance at big points. Also its a pretty big ask to stop a peno.

Technically he did, but he still didn't do well enough to keep the ball from going into the net. He might as well have palmed it into the net from the original shot.

It should be something like 2 points for saving but then someone scoring the follow up. Ridiculous that was worth 7 points

I'm possibly bias as a Migs owner, the bonus was weird but I suppose no one else asserted themselves as much according to the points criteria.

Re: the points, it's a dead ball situation, If the keeper diverts it from being on target it's a save, end of. Anything from then on is from open play. If you interpret it any other way your open to so many more inconsistencies. Eg: Keeper punches it away to the half way line, opposing player picks it up dribbles past all defenders and scores. Does this count as a scoring from the pen? The only difference would be the time, 2 seconds v say 20.

It's a quirk of scoring but you've got to live with it.

Felt really sorry for Falcao today. Was ready to make so many runs off the shoulder but we don't have anyone good enough to play that kind of ball.

We have improved in possession but build up is far too slow still.

        If Carlsberg did game weeks
        Fabregas would be rested.

if I've learned anything from Gomez, it's "wait 'til Friday," which I plan to do.

        Krul (Pantil)
        Terry Ivan Kos (Bertrand Dawson)
        Hazard Sanchez Cazorla Henderson (Gomez)
        Agüero Kane Vardy

        1.9 in bank

Gomez is injured, Bertrand and Dawson have rough fixtures, don't know who might get rested from others.

Gomez to 7 mill mid (Gylfi)
Henderson to 8.8 mill mid (?)
Kane to 7.4 mill striker (Gomis)

        Many thanks.

Better than transferring in a player midweek that gets ruled out for the season... Sorry about PvA, though.

Villa are now safe. If I went for a double swap of Gomez and Kane to Grealish and Benteke, how likely is that to leave a searing lifelong burn on my psyche, because they ended up being rested?

no way in a million years do either get 90 mins IMO.

Burnley, though they are woefully equipped for a 38 game premier league season, are playing for pride, to avoid coming last and have proved to be tricky to score against.

I wouldn't punt on any Villa attackers.

You'd be better off going for Montero & Gomis.

            😉

Thank you, if I'm going to take a hit, I want it to be for motivated 100% players. Montero was very good today. And in the event Arsenal rest players, I need every bench player playing.

Hey! Last post of the season. Currently leading 4 ML with just 12-19 pts. Current squad as below:

        Ospina
        Skrtel PVA Ivan
        Coutinho Hazard Sanchez Silva
        Vardy Giroud Tekkers

        SUB:Davis Sterling Dawson Bertrand

2FT..0 ITB.Which transfer should I do to protect the lead?

        1) Giroud + Sterling > Aguero + 4.2 (King)
        2) Bertrand > Schlupp.

yeah..that was my thinking. I have 2FT & just just have enough money to do those transfer. No price change for Kun Giru sterling for today isn't?
