    Welbeck out good for giroud

    Koscielny doubt with flu

Debuchy out so good for Bellerin

This looks like the most underwhelming DGW so far... a guy in my ML has 0 DGW players and is on 70 points with Myhill, Mane, Benteke...

Who will go into GW38 leading?

    A) 2,138 + Kosc, Ozil and Sanchez (c)
    B) 2,113 + Panti, PVA, Ramsey, Caz (c) and Giroud
    C) 2,105 + PVA, Monreal, Caz and Sanchez (c)

Morning all, real dilema was sailing in my ML all season, but sold aguero for and silva in gwk 35 for sanchez and giroud to block a rival, but now have been caught by another one who has them two and now am only a single point behind before the arsenal sunderland game
    my team vs his
    Cort (davis k)
    skrtel ivan schlupp (toby) (duff)
    alexis(c) hazard larson santi (king)
    kane giroud vardy
    1FT 3.4 ITB

    his team
    hart (given)
    skrtel schlupp mcaulley (yun) (yanmaat)
    silva rambo santi delph (boyd)
    kane kun giroud(c)
    1FT 2.6 ITB

if all goes to plan post arsenal game tomorrow i will be a minumum of 5 points ahead going into gameweek 38.
    should i
a)sell giroud and sanchez ---> buy kun and silva -4
b)sell giroud and hazard ---> buy kun and silva-4
c)sell giroud and santi for ----. kun and ander herra -4
d)sanchez or hazard ---> buy silva
is it worth taking a hitto get kun and silva or any other to block rival and hope my other differentials come in?
any comments will be much appreciated

How about Skyrtel and Gru out for Kun and Morgan? Don't like the idea of losing Hazard and Sanchez.

      Those are your chief blockers.

yes i agree that could be a good idea and then have a double lesta defence?do you think that going without silva is less vital than goin without kun?

Yes, I do. Kun has the potential for more points. Double LEI is no bad thing with the form they are in. And it's QPR too.

Koscielny news is a bit gutting if he gets rested tomorrow after "playing it safe" and getting him instead of Giroud.

One of those things and hopefully won't affect things too much.

What would be the best result for you from ARS/SUN?

A 0-0 doesn't really suit. I guess a high scorer with SUN defenders popping up with assists etc.

Interesting way to look at it, but Larsson and PVA both have 4.7% ownership, so I'd hope for the defender's goal and mid assist.

Again, this is all in dreamland.

Overall, yeah, but I don't care about the people ranked 2m + with Larsson.

In the top 10k PVA has 58.9% ownership, Larsson only 7.8%. So PVA assist Larsson goal gives me 8 points, but the top 10k 2.16 points, whereas the reverse gives me 9 points but the top 10k 3.77 points.

So, Larsson scoring gives me less points overall, but more compared to my competitors (0.61 points)

What a disappointment this DGW has been (so far). I have 5 DGW players to catch up with my rival who was 7 points ahead. He had only 1 (Sanchez) and didn't even captain him. Captained Aguero. He has now increased his lead by 11 more thanks to Mane and Berahino.

Are DGWs becoming a massive red herring?

Several times this year, we've all loaded up on DGW players only to have them fail miserably. Liverpool were the best example, but even Hazard didn't do anything on his chance. Even if Arsenal go on to do well tomorrow, they failed on Sunday so it's effectively a SGW with two extra points.

The only times it's gone well have been for Kane (who we all had anyway), Austin (likewise) and Benteke (who we perhaps should have for a home game against QPR). In other words, it's the form players who we have already who have performed - with the exception of Phillips, which nobody saw coming.

It's hard to go into a DGW without lots of shiny (X, Y) fixtures on your teamsheet. But this week Mane has likely outscored any Arsenal mid in the space of 5 minutes.

Last year, the main DGW successes were Yaya and Suarez - who both got hattricks in easy games we should have had them for anyway. Further back, it's only really BAE who comes to mind - as much as I enjoyed Sessegnon's last minute goal while up at 6am on a night shift in Australia, he still only got about 11 points.

the only DGW that was worthwhile was DGW31 - where I decided to play dullard and not load up on QPR and Villa 🙁

No. Sure Mane has outscored them all. You can use hindsight post match to make this argument every week.

Let's focus on a more relevant comparison... Plenty of other players in the game got 2 pointers. None of them have a second chance, whereas arsenal do.

The real red herring is the idea that when a DGW player does badly it reflects badly on DGWs in general.

To try and put it clearly, a player who averages 5 PPG should average 10PPG in a typical DGW - Maybe slightly less if you take rotation into account.

That doesn't mean they have to score in both games or that it happens everytime. Anyone can blank 2 games in a row, but the expectation is the important bit re a decision, not the result.

Steven Gerrard must of said to Raheem Sterling .. " Son if you want to win the league then take my word for it and leave Liverpool "

Makes sense that the he would want to move to a club that can challenge for the title every season and not just a Europa League player.

Anyone else need a miracle to catch up their rivals? I'm 44 points behind with 5 to play (of which 3 are diffrentials: Sanchez/PvA/Wickham). So basically I need a Sanchez hat trick.

I seem to bench the wrong players quite often (Rose this week). What team would you field for the last week? Who would you bench?

    Keep: Migs | Davis K.
Def: Terry | Kolarov | Belerin | Rose | PvA
Mid: Hazard | Sanchez | Silva | Cazorla | Walters
Att: Vardy | Aguero | Wickham

    (1 Ft, 0.5 ITB). Thanks
