By his own admission, Cesc Fabregas had the “worst first half” against West Ham on Saturday. Certainly, when a home win for Arsenal passes by without Fantasy Premier League Bonus Points for the skipper, you know that something is wrong.

A paltry 3 point Gameweek return for Fabregas left those who had played wildcards or spent points on recruiting him, feeling rather hollow; particularly given that the he was awarded the FPL captaincy by the majority of his owners. Those who resisted the Fabregas pull meanwhile, can feel somewhat smug by his return given that he later revealed that his hamstring remains a concern.

So just how badly did Fabregas perform in relation to his peers and his own high standards?

Very soon our Members will be able to analyse weekly Opta data so that player performance can be measured on a Gameweek basis; we’re testing that functionality right now. That form of analysis immediately comes into play when examining the potential of Fabregas in the light of the West Ham showing…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Hi Guys

I really need your advice on my current DF and MF which is as follows

    Konchesky Jones O’Shea Salcido Coleman

    Malouda Nasri Nani Adam Nolan

Due the vulnerability of this lineup, however, I was thinking that for GW11 I will either be doing

Putting O’Shea on the bench and selling either Malouda or Nani and then benching the other one (no hit)

    Or

Putting Konchesky on the bench and selling O’Shea and Malouda or Nani and then benching the other one (4pt hit)

Which option do you think is best and which MF should I sell

    Thanks

Sorry this got lost on other page and would like your opinions:

Thinking of dropping Odemwingie, I think there is more to his “small knee injury” than we are being told.

Who would you replace him with similar price range tho maximum 5.9 mils.(already got Carrol)

    Team for GW11:

    Foster
    Dann Coleman Samba Elmohamady
    Fabregas(C) Bale Brunt
    Drogba Carroll Hernandez

    Hahnemann Albrighton Konchesky Nani

I'v been a little unfortunate lately, losing my last two H2Hs and now with Nani out and a couple of doubts it doesn't make things any better. Can anyone shed some light on my team and offer some advice on where I could use my free transfer? or should I just leave it?. Any help would be amazing. 🙂

I'd happily go with that team for this weekend. Nice defense with reasonably strong clean sheet potential. Fab can work his magic in midfield and a good front three. Maybe keep the free transfer and possibly tweak the defense in GW 12/13 when Dann, Samba and Elmo have two tough away games.

I've been away for the last two days and came back to see that out of my 5 midfielders 3 might be injured; joy be.

Having had players like Nani and VdV in since the start I don't want to get rid of them and I was planning on bringing Cashly in. Should I take a 4 point hit to take out Etuhu for someone also.

He's an injury risk, possibly a rotation risk when Utd have important midweek games. I doubt he'll play in the CL til after the group stages, so only when there's a midweek Prem game is he a rotation risk.
