In this latest article for Members we combine the current ownership data in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game and our very own ICT Index* data, to find a collection of ten players who could provide handy differentials over the weeks to come.

With the emphasis on value in the current Fantasy landscape – we particularly targeted budget players who could plug the gaps in your squad – with just one notable exception from Villas-Boas’ Kings Road fraternity.

    I've went and spent 4pts for the 2nd gameweek in a row to field the following team. comments appreciated although won't be changing it anyway lol

            not sure anymore if he will start, I´ve asked that question here a few times and got crickets for a reply. Though it could end in heartbreak, given the tough talk from Drenthe, d·ckh·ad Moyes could give him the start, don´t think he would sit Osman, or Feilani or even Jack for Barkley even though Barkley is in the best form on the team because of his age he may get the hot urine treatment. It scared me enough to give Cabaye a go instead. But in my opinion Barkley is their hottest player in the midfield. I´ve learned that means very little what I think in the past.

    Evenin everyone!

    Haven't been on here much lately so apologies if this has been mentioned 1000 times..

    I have both Baines & Bent in my team atm, should i consider wildcarding? obviously i've missed price rises but had dzeko, Silva, bosingwa, Rooney etc so haven't missed out on too much..

    Thoughts?

      I would take a 4 pointer and save your wildcard mate as you have missed the money making.

          Smalling to woodgate?not sure who to upgrade dyer to.you need to try squeeze 6 to get brunt imo. Have another play around. You may want to think about downgrading nasri to allow for a better balance across the mid.

      The thing is at 8.5, even if he is rested v Wigan he is still a potential long term bargain. Would prefer him over Adebayor, for instance.

      However, to look at your question directly, it is difficult to say to what degree with the champ league coming up. Hart, Kompany and possibly Silva are immune for the season. Mankini will hit everyone (look at Richards), which makes City a Fantasy minefield.

      In short, until things become clear, I have both whilst we see how the dust settles. Wish I could give a definitive answer, apart from the advice to remain flexible in transfers to be able to get players in and out.

    Hey lads had some questions about my team. I not a big fan of Rooney being in my team, but I can't stand to not have in my team with his form right now.

    Rooney(VC), Dzeko, Van Persie(C)

    Vorm, Taylor R, Dyer, Taylor(swa)

    One of my questiosn is with my defense. I'm keeping Bosingwa and Enrique in at D, with the other 3 defenders rotating. For this gameweek would Da Laet at home to WBA or Taylor R at QPR be a better choice? Also, what about the punt I'm taking with Taarabt? With the transfers hes got coming in around him, I think he could really turn it on now.

      The article was written on August 29th, and also suggests that both Kalou and Malouda would leave before the end of the transfer window. Doesn't seem the most reliable of sources

    Dzeko is bothering me. Masses have brought him in (myself included) but im concerned on his game time.     GUYS, wuick question, in work and need help!!

    YE have always been my go to guys after!

    I am working with excel and in sheet one i have a formula sum(D1:D4) . I want to paste the result on a cell in sheet two.
    However, i dont want to just paste the value as if i ever change sheet 1, i want sheet two to change aswell. But i dont want to paste the formula as d1:d4 are different in sheet 2

    How do i go about it?

      If you put the formula in sheet 2 as sum(Sheet1!D1:D4) it should work

      go to the sheet 2, click on the cell where you want the formula, then click SUM and go to the sheet one and choose the same array
      the formula will look something like sum(sheet1!A1:A4) (not sure whether the word is "Sheet" or something else, my Excel is not in English)

      Go to your sheet2 and in the cell you want to calculate the value type =sum( then click on sheet1 and highlight cells D1 to D4 then hit the ) symbol and press enter and hey presto.

        Brown. Although Santon is a promising prospect going forward, one of the most efficient rotations is Simpson and Brown. Boring, but solid. If Newc suddenly become leaky then 4 mill means you haven't wasted that precious .5

      Got myself Silva, Dzeko, Rooney, RVP, Mata and enough money to upgrade Dzeko to Suarez or maybe even Silva to Gerrard depending on how I feel when Pool's fixtures take an upturn. Lovely.

        I favour a weak defence too - mid price defenders are not much better value than cheap ones, abd the extra cash can give you an exrtra big-name in the attack.

        hold on to Baines for a week or 2, he may recover quickly. Quite often the yellow flags don't pull off, so unless you're really worried or red flagged I'd stick with it. That said, you could always cash in Richards for a cheap def and free up some cash to bolster your midfield... I would only take the hit if you feel you stand to make a gain. i.e. score big the same week, or if a player you really want looks to go up in value...

      Dzeko/Rooney/Ruiz

      0.1M in the bank.
      Depending on Nasri may go Nas-> Mata fairly soon. Will keep the 0.1 in the bank for emergencies rather than going for Berra -> Ward – He usually does better over the season. Any suggestions welcome.

        I like it a lot, very balanced all over. One of the 6-7 ish strikers is going to hit it off soon, Ruiz could be the one. I'd put my money on Bendtner instead.

        Not sure about Arteta. Him and Ruiz haven't proved they can do the business, could be a good punt, maybe not. Arteta will lose pens & some free kicks.

        Ruiz to Bendy is all I'd change. Then again I'm crap. Hope that helps.

        Apparently Nagatomo isn't getting in the Inter side, they're playing 3-4-3 under Gasperini. Also think there are so better cheap midfield options out there than Park, like some of the Shakhtar players.

          Park is only 6 and was Champs League fantasy gold last year with 32 points.

          Not bad for the price and a good bet to start and provide a differential.

          Tough to chose between Willian, Jadson and Costa as they all split points and are all more expensive than Park (who will play much further into the tourney).

            Park was also 5.5 last year.

            You know if Yepes is getting a sniff at Milan? He had some great Champs League games last year and played well for Columbia in Copa America - just think he won't get a chance to start for Milan this year with Nesta and Silva healthy.

      Does anyone know much about Andy Wilkinson of Stoke?

      Marc Wilson (classed as MF) came off injured and Wilkinson replaced him. Was Wilkinson injured for a while & is he likely to be first choice if so? I was thinking this was Wilkinson's first game back so he might have gone under the radar of a lot of people. A nice 4.0 first team regular I'll possibly consider playing now and then if so.

      Next on my agenda is learning to get my point across in half as many words.

        Short answer: no I don't think he's a starter, I was tempted at the beginning of the season, but best to stay clear.

        Seems Wilkinson used to be first choice and occupys Huth's spot before the laters arrival. Only when Huth doesn't play does he appear at the back. Other than those appearances he seems to feed off bench warmer scraps, sharing with Shotton.

        Enrique will probably outshine Brown, and Brunt is a better bet than Cabaye.
