With the season now in full swing, we begin to adjust our sights when it comes to the statistical analysis available to our Members. We’re set to focus on specific players and teams a good deal more from now on.

Today’s article is a case in point – all eyes were on Mikel Arteta at the Emirates this weekend and Fantasy managers will have been keen to assess how he settled amongst his new team-mates and, indeed, how he fared when it comes to the key performance statistics.

We delve into his ICT Index figures then, drilling down into the Opta data to investigate how Arteta at Arsenal compared to his typical Everton displays of last season, and assess his potential from this point.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

            Finding space, winning the ball and looking for the ball go with someone passing it to you. Not just staying isolated out on the wing.

          Disagree about Benayoun, I think hes been good.

          Arteta looks like he did at Everton last season - Past his best and playing in the wrong position.

        I think so. Maybe they would be better for exploiting Blackburn's slow full backs, but they have been terrible tonight (and Walcott in the last game).

      You'd expect his best chance for any bonus (and therefore any points, one wondergoal v Arsenal excepted) to be in 0-0 draws, doesn't seem to be happening so far. Loads of yellow cards, too.

          Hmm no, Mata's taken corners from Malouda tonight and he alsotook Chelsea's direct FK against Sunderland on the weekend and hit the post. I'd expect regardless of who's playing that he'll take all corners and FKs favouring a left footer.

        He's been brilliant actually, really sharp and had a decent attempt from long range. Ivanovich is winning everything in the air as usual, Meireles has looked good and Torres is his usual useless self.

      Short term yes, long term no. Utd play Chelsea, City go to Fulham. They won't score many now compared to start of season, but having 1 or 2 each does look like the way to go.
